Christy Barrett The place itself was nice enough. However, I wouldn’t recommend Melinda. She disagreed with the services I wanted and tried, more than once, to push me into a service I didn’t want. Oddly, what I wanted was more expensive…so she was pushing a down-sell. I should have realized that meant she wanted to go home. She proceeded to rush my service resulting in nails of varying lengths and many different shapes - although I asked for almond (a $5 up charge BTW). The shapes were all tilted so they look crooked on my hands; I tried to fix it myself & did the best I could. The paint job was also rushed & appears sloppy to me. I surface is not even, you can see ridges/dips in many of the nails. All over a bad experience but I attribute that to the technician (Melinda) not the place itself. Definitely not worth the money. The more I’m typing the more frustrated I get. It’s hard to tell from pictures but these are poorly done.

Barbara McKenzie My longtime nail salon closed so I went to Hillcrest Nails because it is near my house. On the positive side, the place is large and clean, they offer free water/sodas and getting a walk-in service is easy. On the negative side, I tried three different techs for a manicure and one for a pedicure. The first manicurist cut my skin so that it bled each time I went to her! Finally, after three times, I asked for another person and she was fine, but her English was so limited that she didnt understand when I tried to talk to her about my nails continually breaking - after a lifetime of strong nails. I tried a third tech and he spoke better English, but my Dazzle polish never lasted more than a few days and my nails continued to break. The pedicure I had left me with an ingrown toenail that got infected. So, Ive given up and changed to another salon where one of the techs from my old salon now works. She gave me a great manicure with regular polish that has already lasted longer than the Dazzle and is half the price of HNS.

Cleopatra Roberson I’m black and first time here. Never in my experience of getting a pedicure have I been told about price throughout the entire service so I paid before it was done so that they knew I was not running out the door with it and that I could afford it. Even left a $20 tip to the person who did my daughter’s princess pedicure (Katy). I also wanted a facial wax and was interrupted in my pedicure to do my facial wax in the midst of a relaxing pedicure. LIKE REALLY! How am I able to enjoy what I’m paying for if wax strips are being pulled off my face and there is no privacy!! First and last! Massage chairs are awesome.

Sa Rah **If you want RUSHED and CARELESS nails, come to Deluxe Nails on W Northwest Hwy. Sad. I really wanted to like this place because its close to my house. I got a gel nail done for the first time and it was not a good experience. I had acrylic on before I got these done and the nail tech did NOT push my cuticles back and DID NOT PAINT MY WHOLE NAIL. So now they look stubby. This business does just enough to get their money and get you out of the door.

Julie Salazar I wanted regular polish, they kept trying to make me get gel. I don’t want gel because of my preference, NOT because I can’t afford it. I got the simple peli because I can’t have anything hot on my legs for medical reasons, not because I’m broke. They treat you like you can’t afford their service when you say you don’t want the more expensive stuff. I still ended up paying 81$ plus 10$ tip for the simplest peli and these nails. Only one who did a great job and respectful was the male who did my toes. Nail broke off already Update: 2 day with them and they are all gone. You can tell they use the cheapest materials.

Andrea Guerrero I had an amazing experience with the nail tech Tu (Too). It to sure how to spell her name and but, she was amazing and very friendly. I’m from Arizona and I have never let anyone touch my nails if it isn’t from my state but, after my experience here I will definitely be going back. From the greater to the nail tech they’re very friendly , clean, efficient and made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely be traveling more often to Dallas and getting my fill’s with Deluxe.

Christin Spring Niki is the best! She is very thorough and truly gives each person individual care - you go in and it’s just you and her! No noisy crowd or waiting in lines. She is super sweet and friendly and has many long term clients … for good reason. I will keep coming back to her and will not let anyone else touch my nails! She’s saved my nails over and over again. Samantha Wells Although Nikki is very nice, I was extremely disappointed with the service I received. I pre booked/paid for my service on Classpass and booked a “Powder Polish with Tips” service. Nikki started doing my nails and must have forgotten that I wanted (and paid for) tips. Additionally, her selection of powder polish is extremely limited. I ended up getting a color that wasn’t what I originally wanted when I went in that day, and it turned out the color also glows in the dark (not my cup of tea). I received my service Thursday afternoon, and by Sunday (3 days later) my polish was already falling off on multiple nails. I’d expect this for a regular manicure. Keep in mind: I also work at a desk all day, so the most action my nails get is typing and ever other dip manicure I’ve gotten previously has lasted for three weeks minimum. If I wanted a regular manicure without tips, I would have booked that, but the fact that the service I booked is such poor quality is disappointing.

Lex Gascon BOOK the appointment! Seriously, Kseniia is a master at her craft, her work across the board, cuticles, color, shape, is perfection. And they hold up, Im extremely hard on my nails, and yet I was able to work in the garden, work on home remodeling (drywall, framing, electrical, plumbing, the works) projects and still get done up for a night out with flawless nails. For reference that was with medium length almond nails usually with ornate designs as well, and Ive yet to break one. And my nails are hard to do with short nail "stubby" nail beds yet when I leave they are perfectly shaped feminine looking nails. If youre looking for that pinterest nail perfection, this is IT.

Vashti Sosa-Ofiokpa First time here and I’m glad I gave them a chance! I have terrible luck at nail salons as it always feels rushed and because of it, the mani/pedi’s turn out bad. At Plush Nails & Spa, Betty (manicurists) & David (pedicure) took their time and treated me well. They did their best to match my toe polish to gel color on my nails and I wasn’t made to feel like an annoyance for asking them to do so. Will definitely be back! Thank you, Betty & David!

Julia Rase Kim has been doing my nails for years and now shes finally branched out and got her own shop and it is such a great vibe! Im not sharing the photo of my feet because ew, but when I say that my legs are relaxed and my toes are adorable because of Tiffany and I honestly am over the moon about it. Today I had Le(pronounced like "Lee", but with one E) do my nail art and he gave me exactly what the photos I showed him were, with his own really adorable twist and tell me... these nails are giving "pink princess" vibes, right? Thats because he will give you everything you want and need and hes so good at it. I would give them a 10 if I could

Kimberly Kim Horrible customer service very unprofessional we came in today and the “owner” greeted us and sat us down we asked for pricing she gave us different pricing we then sat down and got a final price of 65 for French nails we agreed after that she says 5 dollars more for French we said ok then after that no 10 dollars more for French we then said ok once again then after she mumbles something to a worker and they started speaking in there language and then proceeds to look at me and says I forgot it’s 25 dollars more for French because I have to draw them so she changed the price 3-4 times while we were there finally we said no and thank u and walked out I then went back and she greeted me again I asked for the owner and she laughed saying she was the owner and that if I don’t like her prices I could leave I’ll attach a picture of her so u know who it is and to the owner it’s not the price that we were upset about it’s the fact that u saw a dollar sign on us and kept raising the price every 5 minutes if that’s how u handle business I’m sorry to say you won’t last long and just fyi since I can’t complaint to a higher up and u think u can treat people that was because your the owner I will be contacting the better business bureau and reporting you and your business I believe pricing should be the same for everyone so that being said thank u so much

Katie Fitzpatrick So sad to leave such a bad review, but this was truly the worst experience Ive had at this salon. Rather than listening to the client and allowing them to have a nice experience, they were far more concerned with getting me in and out even though they had literally just opened for the day. They would not let me take my time to choose a nail color despite me protesting. Instead they took the books out of my hands and rushed me over to the pedicure station. The manicurist would not wait for me to show her the shape nail I wanted and instead just started cutting. They turned out so short that my thumb hurt while she was filing it. The pedicure was also wrong. Hot stones were marked on my sheet. My mom got the wax though so they just did that to me too instead of reading my sheet. I also wasnt allowed to use the massage chair during the manicure. I paid $82 for this service and left so upset. For almost a hundred dollars, clients should feel relaxed, not like theyre a burden and being hurried through the process. Definitely will NOT be going back here.

Just Curious Channah Haynie Extremely impolite individuals They made me wait for two hours, then finally placed me at station 5 for an additional hour without providing any water. When I requested water so that I could soak my feet, the guy took 20 minutes to bring lukewarm water without any minerals. I politely asked if they could add something to soften my feet, but after 20 minutes of waiting, the woman at station 4 said she was not comfortable doing my nails. I calmly inquired why, but she simply replied that she wasnt comfortable. After waiting for 3 hours, I received no service, and I believe it was because the person in the video at the front desk didnt like me since I had told her she couldnt do my nails two months ago. The experience was terrible, and I expressed my dissatisfaction in a polite manner. However, they will waste your time and become defensive when you ask for the service you are paying for.

jesusisreal77 Decided to give them a first time try because reviews looked good but I was highly disappointed at the results I got. Over charged first off for some simple mid plain black nails,,,and did not do a good job at all the man at table 2 with the glasses cut me a few times with the tools and did not clean up my nails after also did not fill my whole nail with power he left some areas not done so you can see my nail underneath. I had to ask him to fix one of my nails right because when he first started to apply the nail it was extremely crooked.i wanted to get diamonds but after this I was just ready to pay and leave.!!Highly dissatisfied!!!! I will never go back again.

Bobbie Washburn I’ve been coming to Iris Nails for about two years, and I’m always impressed by the quality of service. Van, the manager is friendly, professional, and skilled, making sure every visit is relaxing and enjoyable. The salon is always clean, well-maintained, and has a great selection of colors and designs. My pedicures always turn out flawless, thanks to Kimmie. She takes time to ensure perfection and never rushes through my appointments. Plus, the atmosphere is welcoming, making it a perfect place to unwind and have some wine.

Jodi Potter After looking at reviews I thought this would be a good place to try and make my new home as the last place I used to go to gave me a fungus. I did the right thing as any customer who has this type of issue should and made sure it was cleared up and waited to get another (a whole year!). I walked in and expressed this and said it was ok to tell me I wasnt ready yet. But the lady said I was good to go and I was ECSTATIC to say the least. I chose my colors and was sat down. Everything was great until the end when it came time for colors/designs. As soon as I showed the lady the picture of what I was wanting, she immediately shook her head and said no. So I then really quickly found something else that I thought she would be able to do and she didnt understand. We called over someone and they translated and she said no to that also. The first design was a tiny bit complicated but the second was simple. Just a simple cascading effect of glitter polish over the dominant color. Once I was told no to both my asks, my whole experience was ruined. I just wanted to get out of there. Then I get home, finally look at them and its just horrible. I know I went in with jacked up toes from regrowing toenails for a year, but that doesnt excuse the poor work done. When I got home I noticed I still had a lot of dry skin on my toes that was not removed which is what I ultimately paid for. A pedicure is to have my feet scrubbed, scraped and clipped. In hindsight, looking at the reviews maybe they are really good when it comes to actual nails as that is what most of the reviews actually consist of. But I definitely would say steer clear of them if you want a pedicure. Because as you can clearly see in the pictures, its not even a good paint job on this simple, standard polish job. Update: I called on Monday, I expressed these sentiments and asked for a redo or a refund if it couldnt be redone. We scheduled the redo for the next day. Their front desk manager made sure to show the tech the issues before soaking my feet. This time came out much better as we all kept an eye on the process and made sure I was happy enough with the result. I am appreciative of them acknowledging and fixing the issue very much as that is hard to come by these days. I just wish their nail techs could do nail art because I would have guaranteed I would be back but who wants plain polish jobs every time they get a pedicure.

Nancy P This place is literally the BEST. I have been to two of their locations. Their customer service is amazing at all of them. I currently go to the Mocking bird location where K is my tech. She is an ARTIST. I love getting intricate designs and she delivers EVERY single time. I have even told her to surprise me and do whatever she wanted. And my nails came out FANTASTIC. Between the great nail techs and how welcoming each location is, I will literally never go anywhere else to get my nails done!

Amber Moreno This was my second time here and I left a review at that time because I was highly satisfied with the quality and my experience here. However today my second time back was not the case me and my daughter arrived at 6:04. We walked in checked in let Melanie know what services were needed etc. We waited almost an hour before actually being serviced. (No biggie we were walk ins) The issue I have is how unprofessional the owner is and how she completely disregarded that we were there before two walk in customers and put them before me! One came in as they were closing and the other customer walked in when we had already been there over 2 hours and had left and later returned around 9pm and wanted her pedicure and for them to get her in. 4 hours at the salon and I did not leave with what I asked for. Sat in the water over an hour and had polish removed and that was it. I walked out of the salon at 10:06 pm! She offered a 20% discount and for me to return the next day. I knew I didn’t want to come back and asked for it now but I still don’t feel it was enough for the time I spent and being put behind people who walked in after me. She was constantly on her phone worried about the reviews that were left showing customers in the salon. Disappeared for long periods of time and was not working on my daughters nails or tending to other customers she was just gone. Never again will we be back.

Erin Johnson I’ve been living in Dallas five years and didn’t even realize this shop was there cause it’s hidden behind a Starbucks. I’ve been going to Shine that’s further up in the parking lot. Shine sent me here because a large party was coming and Beauty Times is the same owner. I loved my experience at Beauty Times very much. My tech was gentle with the nail drill when I told her my nails are sensitive. She did such a fabulous job that I’ll be visiting them again! So wonderful to have two shops as options. The owner does a great job maintaining both!

Elizabeth L Great pedi. So-so powder dip mani. May have gotten a new technician. The rotary tool got away from her a couple of times and I’ve got some ripped up cuticles to show for it. Pedi was great and I might try a different nail tech, but, not a great first visit.

I chose this place because the NexGen dipping powder manicure was more affordable than other places back home and the place had decent reviews When I got there, I was rushed to sit and pick a color. Then for the first 20 minutes the technician worked on me and chatted with another technician. Both of them weren’t following six feet distancing for myself or with each other which made me uncomfortable. Also, I discovered that the dipping powder was not the product promised on their website, NexGen. But instead she used different base and top coats from brands I had never heard of with an OPI powder. This felt a cheap betrayal. Additionally, she didn’t consistently apply the powder to my nails. Some of them look like they already have a weeks worth of growth from the cuticle. Speaking of cuticles, mine are stained from the powder and her not brushing it off between dips. It only got worse when she saw one of her regulars sit in a pedicure chair and said she’d be “right over”. She then rushed through the rest of my manicure making careless mistakes. The whole thing was done within 35 minutes. Normally I’d be thrilled with quick service but it was sloppy and I don’t think it will last long because of the mixing of products. Lastly, I was very enticed by the massages and pedicures I saw happening around me. If the salon or the technician were smart, they would’ve had a price list right there at my station and I likely could’ve been up sold. Instead I as just rushed out the door as the technician went to her other client. Overall, like I said. You get what you pay for. I got nails at a below market price and service at below market quality.

Danni W I bought the kiddos here to get their nails and feet done! I literally got here at 4p and 4 hours later Im leaving because they Dont know how to do nails fr! A basic polish for nails and toes took 4 hours! The manager was not helpful they redid the nails but painted over them! & and we all know they get to talking shit in their language. Their nails looked like they painted them their seven year old selves.. I couldve did their nails and feet and it wouldve look better then this. So I asked the manager for discount because I was still not satisfied with their work. She tells me she cant because Julia the receptionist is gone! Then I watched her call Julia because another customer was having a price discrepancy so she called Julia at that moment for that! I just laughed I would never be back! Drinks were not all that at all! Save ya time and find somewhere else. -1/10 do not recommend! Julia was great though! Real talk she was the best part of the visit! Thanks Julia

Melissa Bonilla I have came to this place for over 2 years now my mom and family also comes here time to time but over the time its just gotten worse and worse each visit. I went in yesterday for a Tropical pedicure with Michael the worst pedi ive ever had and actually this is my second time getting a pedi with him the first time i was way to embarrassed to say anything so i dealt with it this time i could not tolerate it . Its like he does it on purpose, first he put on COLD WATER , i told him the water was cold he does not even speak english so the water remained cold, Then he was trying to cut my cuticles with the cuticle scissors and he was going to deep he cut my skin off which i jumped and he thought i was being extra until he saw i was bleeding. He then went to get something to put on my cut and it was empty and he was just rubbing the bottle on my toe eww wonder how many people he has done that to hope i dont get an infection. once it came to the massage he but exfoliating scrub on my legs he was scrubbing aggressively he literally peeled my skin, and with the lotion he was like purposely pressuring pressure point with his nail super hard mind you i didnt say anything i was already irritated , soon i went to go pay i let the lady know in the front . SO BE CAUSE EVERYONE DO NOT GET A PEDI WITH MICHAEL . i went to destress and left MORE STRESSED.

J Edwards Rude and Horrible customer service. i had issues with my nails I went back and let them know what was the issue they were breaking and cracking is almost like the material that they use was old. They had an issue. It was mad at me because they didnt fix my nails correctly run as fast as you can from this place the customer service is horrible and they cannot do nails. I see why its always empty.

Winners I always come in and ask them to do a unique design. This one in particular I just had to give a review on because they got it down to a T! These came out so cute and they did an amazing job!!! I did dip with design and a pedicure! Came out to $120 before tip! Great price and I always feel taken care of! candice vickers I have been to both locations but I favor the park lane one because I live closer. Both locations are AMAZING! From customer service, and skill with their nails. I do Gel X NAILS and gel pedicures with a pretty specific color and shaping. They nail it every time. The owner is so involved and cares so much about the happiness of the client and they are all just very detailed and wanting to ensure you leave happy with your result. More than 5 stars! The best nail salon in Dallas hands down. Gel X with funny bunny, I couldn’t barre less!, and thin white French tip. My Gel X just lasted 7 weeks with zero breakage. Thank you to all the staff and owner! I also have an autistic 6 year old who they convinced me to bring her to get her nails done … I was anxious at first but I took the chance and my daughter did SO well because of their guidance and welcoming. She now LOVES to do her nails.

Shyday Denise I was not offered a complimentary drink, although it is available. While the service was slightly slow due to a staffing shortage, the quality of their work is exceptional. The nail technicians are highly professional. Since relocating to Dallas, I have been searching for a reliable nail salon, and I believe I have found one. Shanteria Sewell This was the cleanest, most elegant nail salon I’ve been to in Dallas . 10/10 . Joyce was so nice and we had a very impactful conversation. The staff is very nice and caring. Joyce did an amazing job on my nails and Tino what can I say, you see my toes right? Beautiful

jennifer cartwright Ms. Helen did an amazing job!!! Here on vacation and needed my toes done, she was so sweet and did a wonderful job!!! Atmosphere was wonderful, relaxing and dang near fell asleep. Everyone from the young lady who set up out appointment to Ms. Helen to I believe to be the owner was absolutely wonderful.. if your ever in the dallas area definitely check them out you wont be disappointed.

Jailyn Flie I made a last minute appointment for dip powder and a pedicure and am so very happy I chose to go here. The salon is beautiful, the mojitos are delicious, and the prices are reasonable. Loan did my pedicure and was so gentle with my feet, and didn’t give me a hard time with my feet not turning exactly where she wanted them because of a medical condition. Heidi did my nails, and when I wanted a specific color she color matched it just for me. Both of them were so sweet and I like that there’s a 10 day warranty so if I crack one I can come get it fixed. I’ll probably be coming here again.
