Infinity Wellness MioSalon in McKinney, Tx is absolutely beautiful! From pulling into the parking lot to walking through the front doors you know you are in a wonderful setting. The salon is stunning with beautiful decor, friendly smiles, and just a great atmosphere. I had a facial with Samii and I cannot wait to go back. This place really knows what they are doing and tailor to everyone needs.

Chai Tea I LOVE this salon. I normally aim to find a stylist to stick with and I was originally referred to Meredith who is amazing but due to my schedule I’ve also seen Halie & recently Shalie who are also amazing. I’ve never been okay with seeing just any stylist but these ladies are so great I would recommend anyone here. The atmosphere and vibe is comfortable, the plus is walking around downtown McKinney showing your new do :). I highly recommend skylight salon and I’m happy to say I’ve found my hair home.

Maddie L First time yesterday with Hannah! She gave me the best haircut ever. I’m usually super picky about my hair too. The salon is beautiful and clean and everyone is super friendly. The booking and checkout process was so easy I could’ve done it in my sleep. Literally all I had to do was show up and let Hannah worry about the rest. was blown away by her display of skill and technique. She knows what she’s doing and she does it so well! An added bonus was that Hannah is super sweet and easy to talk to.

Macy Frazier My stylist Lauren Nimmons is INCREDIBLE. She is the co-creator of Skylight Salon. Every time I leave, I just adore my hair. It always feels so healthy and fresh. I always get several compliments by strangers about the cut, color and style!! I have been going to her since I was in college and I do not think I will EVER let someone else do my hair!! The ambience is also very homey and they use great products! If you do not try it, you are silly and you should!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Melinda Keister I had my hair appointment on August 14th with Emily, and I have to say, it was a disappointing experience. Emily was nice and sweet, but it quickly became clear that she didn’t have the experience needed for my situation. I’ve been using box dye to cover my gray roots and showed her a picture of what I wanted, but the result was nowhere near what I expected. It honestly felt like she was using my hair as a practice run, which is pretty upsetting. When the balayage didn’t turn out, another lady—who might have been the owner—stepped in and told me it would take 3-4 sessions to get the result I wanted. If I had known upfront that they couldn’t get my hair to look even close to the color I wanted, I would have never gone through with the appointment. In the end, I paid $200 and spent 3.5 hours there, just to leave with a simple trim. My hair was washed twice because they tried to redo the color, but the whole experience felt like a waste of time and money. It seemed like they cared more about making money than making sure I left happy and satisfied. This was a terrible experience, and I can’t recommend this salon, especially if you want balayage because this salon has no idea what they are doing—you will waste your money here. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

I tried many hair stylist in the area before going to Michelle, and found out that a great hair stylist is hard to find! Michelle does an incredible job on cuts, color, blowouts or whatever you need. LP It has been a challenge to find a qualified stylist that checks all the boxes. Thankfully, I found Michelle at Platinum FX Hair Salon. From the start, my experience was welcoming and familial. Michelle was kind enough to explain her process before proceeding with my services. I left the salon satisfied that my vision had been realized with an awesome cut and most importantly the integrity of my hair was not compromised in the end result. Daughter’s hair was all natural before the balayage. Daughter and I are super happy with the final product.

Kimberly McHugh I had the absolute BEST experience with Riley! I booked a consult prior to doing my hair since this is my first time ever getting my hair done and she was very great at explaining the process and what to expect. I was lucky to get in pretty quick after the consult and my jaw is on the floor with how beautiful my hair turned out! She was super easy to connect with throughout the appointment and by the time I was done I was in absolute shock and I still can’t believe how gorgeous my hair looks! If you’re thinking of getting your hair done I highly suggest this salon/Riley. I’m blown away by the results and all my friends/family agree with how stunning it looks.

Opal Prajapati I am writing this because my family, friends, and two different salons with multiple stylists were questioning the state of my hair after I left white cactus for a color correction. I used red box dye a few months ago so I figured I would need a highly rated professional to do my hair. I did go to someone else prior to Riley but was quoted for something out of my budget as my budget was around 600. After my first appointment with Riley- (only stylist at this salon and owns it ), I left the salon not happy with lots of banding and streaks left by Riley. I told her and was booked for a rushed toning session that she recommended to fix all the orange she left behind. After a rushed second “session” I realized she would not be able to fix my hair despite her clearly seeing all the different strands left behind she blamed on “box dye” if it was truly the box dye the second salon i had to go to to fix my hair would’ve had the same outcome. I feel like my hair looked better with the box dye than what she did. That very same day I went to two salons for a second opinion. I ended up booking with one of them to have my hair COMPLETELY redone and was told that the banding left in my hair from “box dye”(which is what riley tried to tell me) was indeed not left from the box dye but from the color services i received from this salon. During my appointment with the new salon two stylists had to strip the color that was put in and restart ANOTHER color correction because of the banding, the uneven color and my roots not being blended into the color at all which was all left by Riley. Not only was the new salon able to fix the mistakes left by white cactus, but they also made it look like my inspo pic after i was told by riley multiple times my hair is going to take multiple sessions. The issue was not the multiple sessions, i understand that and am not unrealistic. the issue is the state that my hair was left in when i walked out. My new salon mentioned that they would never let a client walk out with hair that looked like mine did when I walked in. Its tough to hear but I do NOT want this to happen to anyone else. After voicing my reasonable concerns to Riley she only offered a partial refund or I could have her fix it.... After two appointments with her, I was not going to go back considering how terrible my hair looked. The pictures posted are after the two appointments with Riley. i really wanted to trust her services since i was getting my hair done before my engagement party but she let me leave looking a hot mess. This is not about the person, this is about the quality of work that was done. I had to pay double the amount of money for white cactus and the new salon to fix something that could have obviously been done in one appointment since my new salon did it without “damaging my hair” since it is still just as healthy when i walked in. I wish Riley just mentioned this was something she couldn’t do before leaving a hole in my pocket and wasting hours trying to get someone to do my hair.

Emily Wood Ericka is the best hair dresser I’ve ever had or will have. She has amazing talent as a colorist. I always have the absolute best cuts when I leave and she is the absolute sweetest. She recently did my hair and it was the best time. I feel like it’s not a lot of time in the chair because she makes it so much fun. Chair time was actually very perfect too. She knows what she’s doing, has so much experience and is a consummate professional! Have a great hair day!(®️to Ericka Browne :) )

Kimberley Noel I went to Erickas Hair on the Square because of a FB post for microblading eyebrows. Mercedes was offering a special for $150. Great price, right? Well, as the saying goes, "You get what you pay for". When I went in for my initial consultation, I was impressed. Its a cute little house converted into a hair salon. Mercedes is very friendly and seemed knowledgeable and she had great brows herself. She was upfront in telling me she was fairly new to microblading and that was one reason she was offering the special price. I was ok with that, everybody has to start somewhere. She drew brows on me with a pencil and they looked great....exactly what I would like to have. I was sold and made my appt. The day of my appt I arrived at the salon and no one was there (it was closed, she was coming in specifically for my appt) She messaged me and said she was stuck in traffic. So, she ended up being 15-20 minutes late. At the consultation she had told me the first appt could take an hour or so. I was barely there 40 minutes! During this time she was on the phone discussing plans for the evening with a friend....talking about a guy she had dated, etc... I was very surprised when she told me we were done. I really wasnt sure what to expect but I thought it was super fast. When I got home I could see that she hadnt done .such microblading at all and I felt like all she wanted to do was hurry up and get on to wherever it was she was going. I tried contacting her several times with no response. Several weeks later she finally contacted me and explained she didnt contact me because you have to wait 6 weeks between appts anyway. (Really? You couldnt just check to see how it was going?) I did pay her and give her a 20% tip at the first appt. So, we scheduled the second appt. When I arrived for that appt, there was one lady at the salon doing someones hair and she was very unfriendly. I told her I had an appt with Mercedes at 6. She seemed very annoyed and went to look at the appt book. She didnt seem to believe me and called Mercedes who said she was sorry, she messed up, she was thinking it was at 7. Luckily I had saved the appt confirmation which clearly said 6. So, I waited about 15-20 minutes for her AGAIN. I have to say, this time she was more focused and did spend more time. I was still there about an hour all together but she did get more done. However, my brows are still not how she said they would be upon completion, NOT EVEN CLOSE! I have tried over and over to contact her and have gotten no response. My last message to her was sent on August 30th. It is now October 21st. Im so disappointed in her lack of professionalism. I hate to have to write a review like this because she genuinely seems like a sweet person. But....this is MY face! Im going to someone else to correct and complete my brows and will pay more than double the price because of them not being done properly the first time. DON T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!!!

Rose Flores Do Not go here! They butchered my hair, I told them not too short and it’s so short but that’s only the back, the sides are a good length which doesn’t make any sense. It doesn’t look anything like the inspiration picture I showed and he said he could do the cut. It’s horrible!

Victoria St Peter I’m am writing this review on behalf of my mother as she has limited understanding of the internet and writing reviews. My mother has gone to this place before and claims it was a great experience when getting her highlights done by stylist Lupita, so much so that she decided to return. She called to schedule an appointment and they told her to go Friday at 10 am. My mother got to the salon and the place was closed. She waited until 10:30 am and decided to leave shortly after. This was very inconsiderate of her time. To add, she called several times and no one answered. She also called Lupita directly and she did not answer. In the end, she called the salon again around 11 am and was informed that the stylist was having car trouble, which is understandable, however, they could have answered, called back, or had the courtesy to inform her of this situation. The place seems disorganized and unprofessional in regard to customer service. My mother rescheduled for next week however it would have been nice if they could have tried to squeeze her in sometime today as she was planning to get her hair done today which is why she made an appointment.

I absolutely love the vibe, and I would venture to say you Can trust every single one of their stylist to give you the best service! I go to Lacey for my extensions, and she is amazing! She has great advice as an expert in her craft. My hair isn’t even shoulder length, but Lacey customizes my extensions to make it look so natural. I moved to Fort Worth a few months ago, but this is the only McKinney service. I will make the drive for every time.

In general, I don’t allow anyone to style/cut my hair - but I was very confident and comfortable to get it styled after the color results showed up accurate to match my description and references. I was going to try to cut my own hair but my husband, being the amazing man that he is, scheduled an impromptu appointment for me with stylish beauty bar and stayed home with our babies. I was very hesitant but once i got on the chair Josefina helped me through the whole process and helped me select a cut that would still help me keep some of my long hair and yet be trimmed enough to keep it manageable. Mi Name The place was clean and the haircut was adequate. I made a 5:15 appt. for myself and one for my daughter right after mine; I wasnt sure what time we would get there as we were both coming from work. I ended up getting there around 5. As Im getting the haircut, the salon personal makes a comment to me about making a 5:15 appt instead of 5 and how they wanted to call me to come earlier because it was more convenient for them. Seriously?? I need to be on your time schedule not mine?? It felt as if this person was completely annoyed that they had to come in to work and cut hair; it was very uncomfortable. As we get to the end, I was asked if I wanted my hair curled or flat-ironed, but the tone and the attitude made me say no as I felt as if I was just in the way and wasting this persons time. My daughter felt the same way and could not wait to leave; she also declined curling or straightening. We just wanted to get out of there. Very sad experience.

Destiny Cookus Ive been coming to see Jessica since she opened the collaboration room and she is a FANTASTIC hair person all around. Shes done cuts & colors and everytime I leave feeling so happy about my hair. If I cant get an appointment with her I will try to see Beth who is also very good at her job! Cant recommend them enough!
