Chandrika Prajapati I travel all the way from North Austin to Liberty Hill for Tims services. This past Saturday, I waited from 10:50am (having scheduled an 11:00am appointment) to 12:40pm for my sons haircut. I cannot tell you how many terrible haircuts my son has had and only trust Tim for his esteemed services. The haircut itself doesnt take long, but he is so worth the wait considering how busy Saturdays are. I can totally appreciate the challenge that comes with patience required to deal with the wait time, however, I am truly blessed to have found The Hair Stop because its truly a gem with amazing people. This past Saturday, I witnessed how the crew gently managed two children on the spectrum with such sincerity, ease, and humbling nurture. Every visit is humanizing and fills me with gratitude. This is a completely unsolicited and genuine review of this amazing local spot! I will truly miss the Hair Stop once I move back home.

skyler hutto Was stood up by Tim for over 30 minutes for an appointment that he set the time for. He would have been over 45 minutes late if I had d stuck around and waited. I dont think I have ever had the owner of business show up late for any kind of appointment or meeting.

John Howard Have been here a few times and theyre great. Our toddler had some issues not wanting his haircut early on and they were very patient, calming and helpful in the situation. Now he loves going there and its like nothing. He loves the video games and fish tank etc. Great little barbershop with good haircuts and friendly staff.

Garrett Harris Environment was cool and welcoming. Haircut was okay. Length looks good but would’ve been nice if she cleaned up the back of my neck and I kind of hated the fact that I had to have a 2nd person step in to trim my beard. Would be understandable if I was a walk in but I scheduled a week in advance. The guy took way more off of my beard than I would’ve liked but the shape is nice, didn’t touch my side burns or soul patch at all. I’m sure if I had mentioned it they would’ve tried to fix it but was a little scared he’d take too much after seeing my beard

Kristen Little Took my 1 year old son and 6 year old daughter after being disappointed by a few kids places in north Austin. They got us in right away. They were beyond amazing and professional with my kids. My daughter is very shy and the stylist had her talking and really listened to what she wanted. She even had her stand up at the end to make sure it was all even in the back. She was gentle with my one year old and faded his sides without me having to tell her. (You wouldn’t believe the number of places that don’t) overall great vibe and great experience will definitely be our go to spot.

Ryan Robertson Ive been getting my haircut at the same place for 25 yrs but ran into Sams shop while my normal spot was temporarily closed. Outstanding haircut, and awesome vibe in the shop. Id definitely recommend this spot!

She boosts his confidence so much every time she does her thing and you can tell she really cares about her customers and loves what she does.

Rachel Richardson The lady that did my color and cut absolutely ruined my hair. Along with cutting 8 1/2" when I said 4" to 6", she bleached it for WAY to long. She even consulted with colleague. Within a week my hair was falling out and breaking off. Ive lost a third of my hair volume and it will never regrow in my lifetime. Worst experience Ive ever had!

Marlene Vela Called to see if I could take my kids. I figured just moved to liberty let me support a local business. Spoke to the lady she was kind of dry on the phone. Not rude ,just uninterested. Told her I had three, and asked if she had time today. She said no, they close at 7. So I asked for tomorrow or a different day and even though I had already mentioned they were school age kids she said tomorrow at 12pm. I said, no I cant do that. Said thank you and hung up the phone. She just said ok. Im not upset, maybe in the future Ill try again. Idk just maybe she could have sounded a little more cordial on the phone or maybe should have tried to fit me in in the weekend since i did ask do you do walk ins or appointments only. She said appointments so I tried to schedule but didnt work out. For now I guess Ill take my business back to super cuts or greater clips.

Vivis Notary Service I love how the hairstylist Lauren was super nice and attentive to my hair needs. I was so unsure what I was looking for in a haircut. The parking spot by the street was not my favorite but it’s ok cause on a slow or fast day she makes the wait seem like nothing. I know I put body wax but I meant face wax. She gave me a layered cut and wax eye brows. I love my haircut and I recommend coming here!

Justin Valle The haircut I received was absolutely, without a doubt, just foul. It looked nothing like the image I showed. Furthermore, I brought to attention that it wasn’t the same haircut. Then started to justify the cut because of my head size. What does that have to do with the fact that the image showed that the hair hair on top was curling, when this woman left just about an inch on top (my hair has no curls) . Still had the audacity to say “in 2 weeks it will grow”. Absolutely foul.

Heather Jackson I brought my son here to get a Mohawk like hes been begging me for. The store was clean and full of a variety of products to choose from. There was no wait. It was around 930am and on a Monday though. Ivonne is who did his hair and she did amazing. She was friendly, understanding and patient. We also got gel product before we left. Id definitely come back to her to get his hair done again!

Joe Schmuck I went to get a haircut. Right away, they wanted my personal information including my cell phone number.(Not happening, so I gave them fake info!!). As I left, I caught the manager filming me as I left with her cell phone. These people creeped me out. Im definitely not returning because they had absolutely no reason to be videoing me as I left. I will give them 5 stars for being weirdos. (They gave me an awful haircut, too short. Now I have to wait two more months for it to grow back out)

Brandi Keesee Will not go back here. The lady messed up my hair and didnt tell me, she just parted it different so I wouldnt notice. Got home brushed it and it looks like a toddler took scissors to my hair. I asked for layers and a trim to take the weight off. Im furious!

Abbi Appleby We always come here. There is only one girl I don’t like cutting the kids hair. They are very nice and quick. The only complaint I have it that it isn’t very clean. What do I mean by that? The pictures on the walls and the walls themselves are very dusty/dirty. Chairs in waiting area are pretty dirty as well.

Heather Christie I brought my son here for a haircut yesterday...WORST HAIRCUT HES EVER HAD. This place was a last resort, because he was in need of a cut BADLY, but desperate or not I will NEVER bring my son back here. Not only was the cut horrible, the woman who cut his hair had him completely traumatized and upset by the time it was over. I had just gotten him used to, and LIKING getting his hair cut, and now were back to square one. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE, EVER, ESPECIALLY A CHILD!!!
