Hot Nails - Port Aransas (TX)

1 /5 Ebony Glenn: Shop was completely empty, the door locked, with one person at the counter. It’s 1pm. I called while I was at the door to make an appointment since it said appointment only. The lady at the counter answered the phone and said she has someone coming at 2:30 so come back later. This is my second day here for vacation and this is the fourth shop that said that wouldn’t take me.

1 /5 Catherine Lester: 1st visit. Thursday before Memorial Day, 1:30 pm. Walk in. only 1 nail technician servicing a customer. I was told the day was already booked; they could not service me for a manicure and pedicure. .

5 /5 Mary Kay Van Shellenbeck: Tina stayed late to do a fill in and gel white tip polish. She did a great job, not hurrying at all. I truly appreciated the fact that she stayed on a Saturday when she could have turned me away.

1 /5 Rachel Huva: I am kicking myself for not listening to the reviews. This would have been my first visit to this salon. I made an appointment and wrote it down while still speaking with “ Tina” !! I arrived on time and when greeted I told her who I was and what time my appointment was. She then told me my appointment was a half hour earlier, which it wasn’t. She wrote it down in her book wrong!! Then she just left me standing there without offering a different appointment, or even a different day … nothing! Totally ignored me. I finally turned around and left! How this person stays in business is a mystery! I am a hair stylist and could not imagine treating a customer in this way!! Needless to say I will never return to this pathetic business. I went back down to “Lavie” nails where I had gone previously and was once again treated with kindness and respect. Don’t waste your time and money going to Hot Nails to save time, drive the extra mile for BETTER service !
