We had a horrible experience here, don’t go if you’re sick. The drs just want to collect their money or bill the heck out of insurance if you have it.
We went on 12/23 at 2am. My husband was having fever at 102 with body aches chills cold sweats and a terrible cough. There was a lack of empathy and bedside manners by staff and ER Dr on duty. At intake the nurse was already trying to diagnose my husband with sepsis. He got tested for strep, flu, covid, and got X-rays to test for traces for pneumonia, all came back negative. Then when we did see the ER Dr on duty, she didn’t even acknowledge my husband’s pain. Her only concerned was getting his fever down and discharging him out. There was no sense of urgency, empathy, compassion provided. No medicine or antibiotics, steroids, given to help treat husband’s symptoms. We were just told was for him to take Tylenol and Advil.
On 12/26 still not any better I took husband to PCP and he was given better care and medicine to treat flu. Steroids and antihistamines were prescribed to treat fever, pain, and inflammation. Immediately he feeling better after 5 days in bed sick.
People go to ER for emergency treatment sadly this place is not it. Avoid it unless you feel like being charitable given away your money to careless Drs.
HCA Houston Healthcare Pearland - Pearland Alexandra Smith: Im from Pearland, life long local; I recommend this hospital. I go here quite a bit and am even beginning to recognize the workers. (The doctors, nurses, insurance ladies, x-ray guys) theyve all treated me and various members of my family over the years. They probably dont know me, but Im always seeing familiar faces when Im there. Very kind staff, and they triage you quick and they even call the next day or so to check on you. ♥️
Emergency Room at HCA Houston Pearland - Pearland Cecilia Garcia: My first time visiting any HCA facility and it was by far the best ER I’ve ever been to. The Nurses, NP’s and Radiology department sense of urgency was incredible. The TEAMWORK was wonderful to see. I hope to not have to come to an ER again, but I would highly recommend this particular one.
Pearland Physicians-Walk-in Clinic - Pearland Mayra Mendoza: I recently visited Pearland Physicians Clinic and had a very positive experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, and I didnt have to wait long before being seen.
Dr. Mensa was very attentive and took the time to listen to all my concerns. She explained everything clearly and made sure I understood my treatment options. The clinic is well-equipped with modern technology, which made the diagnostic process quick and efficient.
Overall, I felt very well cared for and confident in the treatment I received. I would highly recommend Pearland Physicians to anyone in need of quality medical care.
Memorial Hermann Medical Group Pearland - Pearland Angela LaFond: Went for annual Medicare exam and saw physician assistant. Made imaging appointment and when I got there, there was no order and incorrect diagnosis code was used. Walked over to office at 12:20 pm. All doctors at lunch. My appointment at imaging starts at 12:45 pm. Lets see if this can be rectified before then. I handed a post it note to one of ladies at the front desk and advised her that the diagnosis code was incorrect and the order had not been received from the physician assistant. Called 7133385555 to speak with executive office about this entire debacle while still in the office. Same lady at front desk called me up to the desk to advise that doctor had put order in system and I could go back to the imaging center. I went back and the doctor entered the code that was on the post it because the lady at the front desk gave doctor incorrect information. Now my 12:45 appointment has turned into a 4:30 because I missed my time. Incompetence at its best. I wont be seeing the physician assistant again.
Houston Methodist Emergency Care Center in Pearland - Pearland Lisa Carter: The team took great care of me last night. Everyone was super nice, from the front desk staff to the nurses to the physician. There was no wait; I was taken to the back almost immediately and treated quickly. I made the right decision going to Houston Methodist ER.
Broadway Family Clinic - Pearland Jocelyn Niley: Had a great experience coming here. I called last minute to make an appointment and they took me in that same morning which was very convenient for me. I would highly recommend this facility. The place is very clean and the front desk. People are very nice.
Memorial Hermann Medical Group Central Pearland - Pearland Diana Smith: Dr. Nguyen and her team are excellent! Dr. Nguyen has been my doctor for over 7 years and she is always very thorough and takes time to explain things to you. I love that she is very responsive with messages and helpful. It’s easy to get a routine appointment or a needed urgent visit.
Most recently, I ran into issues with getting my medication due to the 2025 changes with my insurance. Dr. Nguyen’s medical assistant, Jenny was great! She looked into my issue and helped me resolve it. She took the time to call the pharmacy and walk me through options. She was very responsive and so helpful. Jenny told me what I needed to do, then once I sent the information to the portal, Amanda took over and helped with the process. They both were so timely with helping me!
Houston Physicians’ Hospital - Webster Bobbie Freitag: I highly recommend Physician’s Hospital for medical procedures. In previous years surgeries for myself and family members at Physician’s have all been very smooth and staff very patient oriented. This time I needed a heart catherization. Each person in the initial process with whom I had contact was friendly and directed. When there was a glitch regarding the transfer of medical records several staff members, especially Jamie, worked to prevent my procedure from being delayed.
The OR staff involved both before and after my procedure were very amiable, reassuring and directed. Charla, my RN was exceptionally kind as read the last set of consent papers for me ( I didn’t have my glasses). I strongly recommend Physician’s Hospital.
Houston Methodist Primary Care Group - pearland - Pearland mary alice garza: I had a great experience with Houston Methodist Primary Care Group. I was able to schedule a same-day appointment, and the staff was incredibly efficient and attentive. I was seen quickly, and they conducted both a strep throat and COVID test with fast results. My prescription was promptly called in, making the whole process seamless.
Highly recommend their excellent care and service!
