1 /5 Sparkle Jones: I truly do not have the words to articulate my disappointment in my visit here. While the nurses were friendly and the wait was short, those are the only positives I can use to give the rating Im giving. The communication regarding test results were less than acceptable. The PA left much to be desired in regard to thorough explanation of the results and what they mean. He wanted to discharge my son before even doing blood work. He recommended my son see a cardiologist with 2 days; however, he never put in a referral. I called back to request the referral and was told that the very people who evaluate medically do not send referrals. So, I had to pay to see our PCP, get him assessed again, and get a referral. That is not what was explained to me. After visits with the PCP and cardiologist, it was confirmed that dehydration was the issue. Sadly, I asked about that at the ER visit and was told my son did present with symptoms of dehydration. So disappointing. The stress, worry, and concern weve had as a result of this experience is unfair. The only reason I will not state the name of the PA is because it is my hope that after the review, his supervising physicians will give him better guidance and mentorship.

4 /5 Bethany Butler: First I want to say then I personally wouldnt have recommended because usually theyre more expensive than other hospitals, but I will say that this particular ER Department was fabulous. So the nurses were Skylar and jennifer. Both Skylar and Jennifer need kudos Both ladies were phenomenal. They were very accommodating they were understanding they showed empathy they were human. You dont see that as often anymore. There was one more nurse in the morning but I dont really remember his name he was a young Asian man. But he was brief in the situation then the person got transferred over to CDU. Lisa the nurse in CDU was amazing as well. She was attentive. And that was fabulous for me because I did end up leaving. I will say that the reason for the four stars is because when the admitted was advising me that when I wasnt there it felt like some of the other nurses werent as attentive as they had been in the ED or when i was there. Like if they pressed the button the Staff would take an extra long time to respond. Some of the review above is from what I saw while I was there. And I didnt really appreciate that the hospital sent the admitted home without any medications after knowing that the precise reason for the emergency room visit was pain. And no offense to any medical professional out there but Tylenol and ibuprofen are a joke. That is for people who do not know what pain is. That goes back to me advising that if I had been there I dont believe there wouldnt have been at least a prescription. So I didnt appreciate how everything was handled while there wasnt someone there staying on top of the people in the CDU Department. I shouldnt have to do that staying on top of people who are supposed to be professionals and in the line of work of caring

5 /5 Fatima Martinez: I want to express my deepest gratitude for the exceptional care my mother received at Memorial Hermann Pearland Hospital during her emergency surgery. From the moment she was brought into the emergency room, the staff immediately took action to get her stable and started procedures to determine the root of her pain. We greatly appreciate the staff from the Intensive Care Unit. Dr Bailey for keeping her in your unit and making sure she was taken care of, Nurses Petronella, John, Ruben, Von, his great energy brought a ray of sunshine during the overnight hours, Diana and Abigail the dedicated care you provided to my mother made a significant impact on her recovery. The professionalism and compassion exhibited by the entire team were remarkable. They treated my mother with kindness and respect, making her feel like a valued individual rather than just a patient. We are particularly grateful to Dr. Perez Viso, who performed my mothers emergency surgery. Her expertise and commitment to my mothers well-being undoubtedly saved her life. Dr. Perez Viso went above and beyond, showing immense care and empathy throughout my mothers stay. She always addressed our concerns and answered our questions without hesitation, even for her post-op appointments. Words cannot adequately convey our appreciation for her skill and dedication. We are forever grateful to Memorial Hermann Pearland Hospital for the outstanding treatment my mother received. Will definitely recommend this hospital for your medical needs.

5 /5 Amanda Flores: My mom who is elderly and has dementia came through the ER via EMS and she was admitted very quickly. We were told she may need to seek another hospital due to not enough beds but they ended up keeping her. While at this hospital, she had 2 surgeries and the staff and nurses were AMAZING! I remember a Rosie and Kathleen (possibly), well the whole surgical team was great! I met the surgeon as well and everyone was so nice and very informative. After both surgeries, my mom had only one nurse that was not the best and gave us attitude, her name was Taoa (possibly). I wanna express the people who outshined during my moms visit. Nurse Arlene, Nurse Ernesto, Charge Nurse Summer and Maria. My mothers room was dirty at times but after my family member reached out, it was cleaned. I did have some concerns with the social worker, doctor and discharge. It seems like they were literally trying to kick my mom out because there was nothing further they could do since my mom is now bed bound for rest of life. The doctor spoke about feeding tube/poop bag and a chance to speak with him with the family but THOSE THINGS NEVER HAPPENED NOR WAS DISCUSSED FURTHER before her release. We kept getting calls from equipment and home healths about my mom discharging and the family NEVER WAS DISCUSSED ON WHEN AND DATE. I did have a conversation with a home health person and i cannot remember her name right now but she gave me the best details and told me hospice would reach out to me to provide me those details. So I could at least have both process details before speaking with the doctor (WHICH NEVER HAPPENED). Hospice took over quickly and the same day I go in to sign papers, they advised she was being discharged without speaking with the family ahead of time to be able to get her ready at the home. I was told an ambulance would be taking my mom home between 3-4pm and then I had lunch at the hospital and came back up to her room around 3 and was told she now would not leave until 5-6pm. Hospice nurse came to my moms home around 6:30pm and my mom was not home. I called the hospital at 7:20pm and was told my mom left 15 minutes ago. Ending was not the best and it saddened me a bit but I guess next time around I will be more prepared. I did see the bad reviews and Im pretty shocked at reading them. I did have both good and bad times but MOST OF THE NURSES WERE AMAZING!! The doctor who assisted my mom could have been more informative and followed through better.
