1 /5 Frank N: 2/27/25: BEWARE! Staff provided inaccurate information on more than one occasion!
One staff member wanted to set me up with a procedure without any type of consultation. When that doctors schedule wouldnt align with mine, I was assigned to Dr. Gayle, who required a consult prior to the procedure. The consult with the nurse went fine, and the procedure was scheduled for December 2024.
They had a Tricare authorization for office visits, but neglected to advise Tricare that a procedure would be needed. This resulted in me being charged for the procedure by BSW Dallas, as it was treated as a Point Of Service (POS) claim, versus an authorized procedure. I was not advised that I would be billed for the procedure. I received a bill for the procedure, paid it to avoid any credit issues, and contacted Tricare to question the charges, since my catastrophic cap had been met in August 2024.
Tricare confirmed that a request for authorization for the procedure wasnt submitted, and the only thing authorized had been office visits.
I reached out to the office manager, Christine Loya, and she was zero help. She basically passed the buck, and that I was on my own.
I had no follow-up from Dr. Gayle, and have yet to receive a diagnosis or treatment plan.
I would NEVER recommend this organization to anyone!
