4 /5 Narrin Rai: I am only putting 4 stars because of the lady that answers the phones and does appointment. Dr. Barbandi is literally the best. He has saved my life. Hes done more to help me than almost anyone else. Yet I have not been able to see him in office. Over 4 years Ive tried to make appointments several times. The lady that does them find a reason to get me to cancel every single time. First hell tell me he NEEDS to see me within one to two weeks. I always make it clear to her that hes made that very clear to me. I have very bad health. She NEVER makes the appointments for when he asks. Theyre always one to two months out if not longer. Usually by then Ive already ended up back in the hospital. This last time around I swore I was going no matter what somehow. I went and paid$200 for the one x ray she said I needed to have on cd. I confirmed my appointment. Then she tells me I somehow owe over $100 from missing past appointments (which again I was in the hospital every time). Plus the copay, hes a specialist so the copay isnt horrible but more than regular Dr. So now Ive already spent the $200. Shes asking for over $100 more, plus the copay. I all if I can pay in payments. She says no. I cannot work. I have congestive heart failure, plus lung issues. I also have three kids and bills. Plus the other Drs I have to see and close to 30 prescriptions every month. So of course I had to cancel because I didnt have the money with Christmas just passing, plus everything else, and paying for oxygen. Not to mention regular bills. It honestly made me cry for like an hour. She also very rude. Every single time. I know its her job, but I also know she could have cut me a break knowing I need to see him. I dont even know what to do.
