Jesse Grace Absolutely terrible experience. This shop has the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. The mechanic clearly had no clue what he was doing — couldn’t even fix a simple issue and barely speaks or understands English, which made communication almost impossible. I explained the problem several times, and it still wasn’t resolved. Total waste of time and money. I wouldn’t trust them with a bicycle, let alone a car. Avoid this place at all costs.

Christina Wilson NEVER AGAIN!!!!! They will cheat you on the prices, miles and then jack up the labor. He knows that he can and he definitely does. We called and priced a part and he added on $300. When asked if we could get the part and bring it he said that if we do he won’t make our truck a priority. He wants to be able to charge you for the miles, (which he jacks up) doesn’t want you to see the price of the part (so he can jack it up) and then will lie about the hours it took to actually do the work. I don’t care if our trucks break down in front of his shop…never again!!

Kyli Thorn ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a great experience with JR Muffler in Palestine, TX! They fixed my AC, and it’s now blowing cold and strong—just in time for this Texas heat. They also replaced my harmonic balancer and did an excellent job. The service was fast, honest, and professional. I definitely recommend them if you need reliable auto repairs!

Elbert Homan Had O2 sensors and ignition coil replaced, the owner was helpful, friendly, and honest. Ive been to a few other places in town for repairs, but will return here if I ever need more work done in the future. Great communication - they provided service quote and repair statuses via text. I would definitely say they make customer service and quality of work priority, highly recommend!

Charles Caple If it gave option for negative star it would be negative 5 star . He built a 383 for me that ran hot come to find out he put a serpentine set on & didnt put a reverseable pump on almost burnt up motor, instead of buying the right brackets for rear breaks he ground down the axle to get the ones he had on ,which compromised integrity of axle, oil leaks, bolts loose, bolts not in on transmission bracket, terrible job all around,will not right receipt man is a crook

Charlie Cox Traded my starter on one of his rebuilt ones that came with a warranty and it went out in a few months he tested it said it was bad but wouldn’t fix it said it was the brushes and that it wasn’t covered under warranty I could have ordered one for about half the price

Korey Bates I purchased a starter in November from JK starter in alternator on April 29 my truck broke down And the Culprit Is the starter with Palestine being an hour away? I purchased one from AutoZone stopped in next time. I was in town to JK starter. I did not have my receipt, but I had my transaction on my Bank account with his company name and date in hand. He refuses to acknowledge that I bought apart from Because I did not have the actual receipt Is dishonest I see why his shop is empty every time I drive by don’t purchase from this place

Theresa Thurman They kept me updated on the progress of my vehicle. When I got there it was in the front in the shade looking like a brand new car. Everyone interacted with was very friendly and professional. 2nd time around.

Moni Burk I’m very impressed with the professionalism and outstanding customer service at Auto Collision Experts. They kept me informed throughout the entire repair process and delivered the work within the promised timeframe. They even went above and beyond by taking care of an additional maintenance issue for me. If I ever need collision repair again, this is the shop I’ll return to without hesitation

James McCellon Do NOT recommend this place. Dropped my grandpas truck off for instrument cluster, and a couple window motors. My truck sat there without being touched for TWO MONTHS!! I tried calling multiple times but nobody answers the phone there. I finally just had to stop in there and ask what the deal was in person. The excuse i was given by Scott was "its been cold". About a week later i have a buddy go by there and is told the truck is ready. My buddy ask about the windows and Scott tells him that I never mentioned the windows (I did). Maybe a week later I go by there again because they wont answer the phone and the truck is ready out front. I got no call or anything. I take the truck home to find they didnt update the mileage on the new instrument cluster and the back lights didnt work. I wasnt too concerned about the mileage but need the back lights to drive in the dark. I take the truck back and the next day Scott tells me he sent the dash cluster back. I have a buddy go by there and he looks in the truck to find the dash cluster untouched. Two days later Scott tells me they found a broken wire and never had to send it off. I take the truck once again and guess what? Back lights stopped working again and one of the windows wont roll down. Now I see why they got the name "wing nuts", because they put everything on with wing nuts for when it inevitably breaks again. Not to mention theres cats everywhere inside and out. The whole place reeks of cats and cat piss. Long story short, they had my truck over two months, truck still isnt fixed correctly even after picking it up and having to take it back, they wont answer the phone and if they do its all bs run around..... I found another shop thats fixing their screw ups

Angie Rodriguez BEST BEST BEST MECHANICS SHOP! My truck is a Frankenstein monster with parts for 4 different types of vehicles built into it. Instead of taking advantage because most mechanics wont or CANT work on it, this shop has the knowledge and capability to fix things when they break, and the HONOR to charge a fair price!!! I dont take my vehicles anywhere except Billie Whitley and Sons.

Nicholas P Cannot recommend Dan enough for how much care they showed throughout the entire process, keeping in constant touch and explaining every step of what they were doing and why to ensure I knew I wasnt getting screwed. And the amount of integrity Dan and his wife have is incredible in both extremely fair pricing for the amazing service and also in trying to keep costs as low as possible through free advice and even extra service to ensure the job is done fully. Even after I drove my car off, they still wanted to offer their help, cannot recommend enough.

James Curry I called Mr.Dan in an emergency situation. He was kind, responded quickly and found a solution for me. His service is great and i would recommend Dan to anybody in town.

Roxy M These guys are the best! We were driving on Hwy 31 from central Texas to Tyler for a family get-together when my AC went out and car started running really hot. Antifreeze was leaking out. We stopped and called for a tow to this highly-recommended shop in Athens. Clint found out that the heater core failed in our Jeep and needed to be replaced. This would have taken a few days to fix and really mess up our weekend vacation, but Clint rescued us by doing a temporary fix to get us up and running the next day. We had our family reunion as planned, then were able to get back home. Wish we had been able to have CJs do all the repair work needed. If our vehicle ever breaks down in or near Athens again, we wouldnt hesitate to call Clint - highly recommended! Ten stars!

Jason Stephenson If you guys are looking for someone to work on you vehicles yall give Clint a call at CJs Automotive. Clint recently installed a new drive shaft on my sons truck, very hard to find part for the model, but he was able to locate it in just a day where other businesses could not even locate it or even call me to say they couldnt get it. He was generous enough to even come to my house and haul our truck to his shop. Clint was very informative and kept us updated on the parts and the status of the repair, he is definitely a man of his word and very reasonable on his rates!!! I highly recommend giving him a call for your next repair.

The quality of their service really stands out. They handle everything efficiently and get the job done right the first time. On top of that, the cost was very fair, especially considering the level of work and customer care. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone needing tire work or general auto service in the area. They are a solid shop ran by people who obviously take pride in what they do.
