Amy Silva I had such a great experience having my exhaust serviced here. They were upfront about pricing, listened to my concerns, identified the issue and did a great job with replacing the exhaust on my Ford F-150. They are also very honest. I dropped some money when I was getting into my truck to leave and they called to let me know that they had it and it was waiting for me to pick it up at my earliest convenience. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone I knew needed service.

Eric Routh Was out of town at 3 on a Friday. Started having truck issues. They were booked solid but told me they would try to squeeze me in before they closed. I was potentially very screwed because I had to be 300 miles away the next am. They went above & beyond. Diagnosed the issue, checked the truck over for roadworthiness to get to my destination, and then didnt charge me for their time!!! If you need anything automotive in Angleton Soileaus is the only place to go!!!

Brice Hart We had no brakes all of a sudden on a work truck!! I gave them a 5 stars because they are so damn honest!!! They are amazing folks, I worked with Cassie in the office she was absolutely amazing, she had great communication, explaining what was happening and how we could make everything work. They didnt try to gouge us at all, even when we needed more work, they we honest in how they charged us and really helped a lot. Tera and Joey in the shop are absolutely magnificent, they are amazing at their jobs and finding the issues we needed fixed! They got us done right, they did damn good work. Casey Henderson’s Octavio said he replaced my throttle body and changed my valve cover gasket. He did replace the gasket but not the throttle body and it leakes cause he didn’t put it on right all he did was keep reseting my computer

We even got stuck on a trip on a Saturday, and Red Barn Automotive Specialists took us in, performed an advanced diagnosis, and pinpointed the problem right away. Seth Thomas, in particular, is incredibly knowledgeable and possesses the analytical equipment necessary to resolve even the most complicated electrical issues. It turned out the main culprit was the Transmission Control Module, but he also uncovered several other underlying problems with the car that well need to address, issues that other shops were completely unaware of. I had a very good experience with Red Barn Automotive Specialists and truly felt like I was in capable hands, especially after getting no answers from other places. I would definitely recommend them!

Amanda Anthony Brought my car here in person asked if they worked on mini coopers they assured me they did so I bought a tow truck to get it there. I called several times and they assured me someone would “look at it today” several times. After about a week came in person because it had become impossible to get ahold of ANYONE in the shop. The attitude we were met with was unbelievably rude. Turns out they took my skid plate off and decided they would not even look at the car any further. We took the car to another mechanic and they didn’t give us the screws for the skid plate so we attempted to call several times to get them back and they said somebody put them somewhere and they couldn’t find them. This place was highly recommended to me and I’m very disappointed with the way we were treated and the lack of communication while in possession of my car.

Derek Dirba Been going to this place since my family recommended it over 25 years ago. Never done me wrong. Trusted him with an engine swap. Ford was over 250,00 miles and found metal in the oil filter. During the repair they advised about what other parts needed replacing since they already had to remove them for the swap. And they abided by my engine manufacturer requirements.

Brian Sonnier I am giving a 1 star because I cant give no star. Over charge on a diagnostic. Told me engine was blown when it was just a cracked head and gasket blown. After looking for new engine, I brought to a more reputable shop, The Shop on highway 35 in Alvin, they fixed in one week. It took Jack s almost 2 weeks just to falsely diagonos they problem. Will never recommend to anyone.

William Gambino PROS: Very knowledgeable mechanic. And despite my car sitting at his shop for three days without being looked at, he didnt charge me anything when I had to pick up my car for work. CONS: Severely understaffed, so itll be a while before your vehicle will even be looked at. Communication with Jack wasnt good because he said hed call me one day but never did; had to pick up my car after 3 days with no word on diagnosing my check engine light.

Pearl Saldana Just horrible experience you get told one thing when purchasing a zero mile vehicle, and things are never covered by warranty. Then your invoice says you got a car wash and you didnt, so the rep days, oh yeah, we didnt do it because the car wash is broken sooooo why is it in my invoice!!!???? And no, my tires werent rotated like wth! This is my 3rd oil change, and its always something.

Since that time, Moody and Son has worked on all of my cars including Mazda, Ford, Nissan, Jeep, Volkswagen, Subaru, Ford, Dodge, and probably some cars Ive forgotten. I have referred a half dozen or more friends there, and have never regretted it. Most importantly, they have always given me options for cheaper repairs and never performed unnecessary services. They are trustworthy, fair and competent. Google asked me to update my review. Its July, 2023, and Im still very happy with the service. Im dropping my truck off for a brake job next week.

John McCLure Took my old truck that shut off while driving and they did get it to start and drive again all be it only 5 miles at a time is as far as it drive before dying on me again. They said it needed a distributor but they couldnt find one so they "rebuilt" mine. After 3 weeks and almost $900 I just watched YouTube and order my part off ebay installed it for less than $80. Nice people but I cant trust them with my vehicles.
