Mary Wood Ruby is absolutely amazing! Shes so patient and incredibly skilled at what she does. The pricing is reasonable, and she was super gentle during the removal process. No pain at all and very careful with my nails. I 100% recommend her!

Charlotte I found the pedicure to be overpriced and mediocre. I was charged $71.50, despite having signed for a $70 service. The experience was not enjoyable; the sponge Tom (my tech) used felt like a brillo pad. He also wasnt very friendly and made me feel like a burden. I opted for the "Luxe Pedi" upgrade, but there was nothing luxurious about it. My nails were filed/shaped unevenly and the gel polish was applied too thickly. Only giving two stars as a courtesy because they were able to get me on the same day. I think the good reviews are based on who you get, however, its not consistent. Also, the towel that was used during the service was visibly not clean. Unfortunately, I didnt have a great experience and will not return.

Sarah L i went here to get acrylic removed and received the worst service i’ve ever had at a nail salon. during the removal the tech kept hitting my cuticles with the tool sanding down my nails, which was cutting up my cuticles and hurt pretty badly. when i flinched when she hit me particularly hard one time, she looked at me like i was crazy. then came the soak off part, which meant my fresh cuts on my cuticles were soaked in alcohol, which was super painful. by the time i left, i still had chunks of acrylic stuck on my nails. now i have to go to a different nail salon to get the rest taken off, which i had to wait for my cuticles to heal first. don’t go here if u don’t want a painful, inadequate removal service.

Jasmine Mikulski **UPDATE** Not only did they give me a hard time about my refund they have also RECHARGED my card a week later after issuing my refund. This terrible experience is now extended into a bank dispute. 0 Stars. I went yesterday and I will not be back. I try to be very easy going and Im not a perfectionist. I paid and went outside and then started to see how sloppy, thick, uneven, and bubbly the nails were. I asked the tech Ly multiple times to get the red off my nails from my previous builder gel manicure off which was still visible on the new finished light purple manicure she did. The dremel she was using was dirty and hurt, she dripped the hard gel everywhere and got it on my fingers, which is toxic... I should have stopped her and asked for someone else or just walked out, its so hard to speak up sometimes. It was NOT fun to walk back into the place and stand at the front to wait for someone to come talk to me. Then 4 girls walk over to me as I explain the issues, including the girl who did my nails. For me this is absolutely mortifying. I ask for a refund because I am out of time and need to get to my event. They inspect my nails, feel the bubbles, see the red, uneven edges, and overall SLOPPY work and say they will fix it (I dont want to be touched anymore at this point my nails kind of hurt) then they offer me a free manicure next time. I respectfully say I will not be coming back and ask again for a refund so I can go. It took a lot of convincing and I felt uncomfortable the whole time. I was a walk in and waited an hour to get seen, and I did not complain at all and I tipped $10. Maybe there are better techs available, seems like all the good reviews are one persons. This place did not feel safe, it was not an experience I want to repeat.

Acheron Fontenot Cindy was fantastic! I came in for a set of gel nails with a design. She shaped the nails beautifully and was very meticulous with filing and buffing, so they’re the cleanest I’ve ever seen, and the design was executed beautifully! She even noticed I was nervous to speak up about a color she’d chosen that I didn’t particularly like, and she swapped it out immediately. I highly recommend her services!

Nirali Shah Very disappointing service. Made an appointment for mani and pedi, after my pedicure the lady asked to check me out but I reminded her I was also getting a manicure done. It didn’t look like any techs were available so she said she would do it… well she started doing it and then left after filing one hand and had another girl take over.. I could tell girl that took over was rushing because other people were walking in. She started putting on the top coat when my polish was sooo streaky… I had to ask her to put another coat on. Looking at my nails after, they look so bad. The polish was so uneven and my cuticles look so bad. I’ve never been anywhere where they switch people half way through the appointment.

chrissy bui i came here 3 times and i can tell the services by my experiences. i scheduled an appointment for the first time, got there on time and had to wait about 10 minutes. the manager was polite, and gentle. she prep my nails and another nail tech came by and finished it. i don’t like being pulled by different or multiples nail tech doing my nails. 2 people did my nails and got different nail shape ( they didn’t look balance at all, the one who prep my nail told the other to do the exact nail shape i wanted but still, it didn’t look good overall ). the second time i came by, i still had to wait ( i booked an appointment thru the phone ) but the nail tech that filled my nails was super nice, it was not a big deal. the third time, i came with an appointment and had to wait an hour, the manager told me she’ll be back after 10 minutes, i waited longer than that. at this point since the last 2 times i’ve come, i wonder why are they take the appointment while the store did not have enough nail tech to provide the services ( or it was just only me feel that way ). after an hour, the manager said sorry and a nice nail tech came by and do my nails, she offered a discount and apologized. i like the nail tech who did my cateye nails. i hope this nail bar/ store can improve the schedule time with the customers and really hope that the next time i should not be pulled by differents nail tech doing my nails.

Val Rodriguez Ruby did an amazing job! I came in wanting a red “jelly cat eye” design and none of the color samples they had were what I was looking for. I showed her some pictures of what I wanted and she was able to improvise and achieve the exact color and look I was wanting, and the end result was near identical to the pictures I showed her! I love them and am super happy with how they turned out- this was my first time there and I’ll definitely be coming back! Thanks Ruby! Let me start by saying everyone who works here is genuinely so sweet and kind! It felt like such a warm and welcoming environment from start to finish. I got a gel mani and regular pedi. I’m not usually a design person, but I asked if I could get a cute little lemon and blue picnic design on two fingers and they came out SO cute. Would highly recommend!!!

Briana Lacey-King I went in for the little escape and the heavenly head bath- INCREDIBLE. I was so pampered throughout the day and the front desk staff was such a great host through all of my different treatments. Happy to support small locally owned spots, a similar package would be at LEAST double in any big name hotel spas. All of my service providers were so attendant and applied perfect pressure. The head bath was the star of the show though! My hair feels really soft afterwards and my scalp so clean!

Caroline Simmons The staff were so nice and welcoming, and the head massage was more than I could have expected! It was relaxing, every product smelled wonderful, and when I lost an earring (which I recommend you take out before the service) the masseuse found it and made sure I had it before I left.

Irena Audila If you wonder whether you should come, DO NOT. Came here because i have seen the location many times and always eager to try plus the reviews were pretty good. I got in and was taken by the lady who speak NO English. It was hard to communicate what I wanted and what was going on with her. The lady who I assume name Tianna tried to help what she could but she also DONT speak Spanish so now neither of us could communicate with her. No disrespect but it’s hard to take any client if you only speak Spanish it would’ve been better if they told me in the beginning so then I know what to expect or to wait other nail tech to take me. She took a while to finish my nail and only 3 days my gel chipped and also after only a week gel was lifted. Would never be back again. I gave 2 stars cause Tianna was trying her best but not enough.

Ashlyn King Thee best nail salon in Austin- no competition. I’ve recommended them to at least 5 people (Austin locals and out-of-town guests) who all loved them as much as me. I also recommend them to everyone who compliments my nails, which is like twice+ a week. Thu does amazing Gel-X and nail art (I think she’s my nail tech soulmate), but the ladies around me at the salon always have great looking nails. You can’t go wrong here. They also have a complimentary drink selection and overall very friendly staff!

Tania Sullivan Went to Lakeline Nail today with my mom to treat her for Valentine’s Day. Never have I had such RUDE nail artists (Linda and Cindy- I have their names on my receipt) that genuinely did not want to be there! The nail artist helping my mom did not let her change her nail color even though she was not happy with it at the very beginning! My nail artist was also rushing the entire time despite the fact that I had an appointment and was there on time. They were short staff but that is no excuse to be so rude. When I asked her if she could please fix the crooked nails she filed and fix some of the polish that had clear spots that were missing, she rolled her eyes, scoffing and speaking in Vietnamese. This continued to happen the whole time I asked for any little thing or even if I was just looking at my nails, she had this negative response! This was NOT a spa experience. We were STRESSED the entire time!!! Will NEVER come back. Also I got the deluxe pedicure which is a step up from normal and they were doing everything so fast, she did not even fix my cuticles on my feet OR my hands. We both got gel manicures. Whenever I would try to ask questions or make a comment, it was met with unprofessional and mean behavior. Pink Cherry nails around the corner is so much better! They take their time, even on a weekend, have a good attitude and continue to ask if you’re liking what they’re doing and what can they do better. So disappointed. Would love some kind of refund, honestly!

Reka Nagy When I was there, I was very happy because they did a beautiful job, and the massage was also very pleasant. But unfortunately, my joy didn’t last long, as some of my nails completely came off after just one week. We called them and were told I could go in as a walk-in. However, when we arrived, they refused to take me and told me I must wait. I am extremely disappointed. I went to another salon nearby where I was welcomed immediately and kindly without any issues. No matter how beautiful the work is, if it’s not holding it’s meaningless.

Gira Gomez I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking to have French tip gel on dip powder to actually last more than a day. Some back story to my experience: I’m originally from Houston but I recently moved here so I searched for somewhere nearby to do my annual holiday themed nails before I headed back home for the holidays. I got my nails done here for the first and last time. Although the staff can come off as nice, and the prices are reasonable, I don’t truly believe their quality or customer service is worth the hassle of getting them done. They fixed the nails that chipped the day after with no charge but then I had to leave back to Houston for the holidays. I come back today, a week later, to explain I wasn’t happy with the nails gel and partial dip powder chipping before I could enjoy them for the day of Christmas (which was the whole point) and that’s the nails chipped within a day and only continuously chipped the rest of the week. She said it’s fine she’ll take them off, but failed to mention prior that she was going to charge me $10 for this inconvenience (which she says is usually $15, still ridiculous if I’m coming to get them off because the quality was awful). I had made it clear from the moment I was there that I was unhappy with their quality of work and was the whole reason for taking them off. When the time comes for getting my nails off, she’s rushing and not being diligent in making sure all of the dip underneath was being removed and I had to correct her multiple times for areas missed. Didn’t help that it also was painful at times. I was ready to run out of there and never see them again. I especially didn’t appreciate the last comment telling me that when my natural nails break I can come back to get them fixed and done. Now ma’am…. I will never be back especially when the customer service wasn’t up to par for correcting the quality that was so bad it couldn’t last a day. Also pro tip: don’t ask young women when they plan to have kids as small talk with clients. I’m not a rude person to make a scene about it, but that’s a distasteful question to ask, and someone else may not take too kindly to that intrusive and possibly insensitive question.

The other people who assisted in doing my pedicure were also great me and my friend got squeezed in last minute but that did not mean they rushes or did not do their best at making us feel taken care of! Miranda Hamaker The BEST nail salon in the Austin area! I am super particular about my toenails and being sure the sides are clean/the nail isnt ingrown. These ladies take their time (sometimes up to 2 hours) making sure my nails are totally clean and not digging into my skin I didnt think it was possible to get my finger nails into the shape that I see in pictures online until I started coming here and realized no other previous salon had taken the time necessary to file them down. Im not stuck with horse fingers forever! Im also super indecisive when it comes to color/shape and they provide the perfect amount of guidance as to what will look good on my skin tone and with my nail shape. Without them, I would go back and forth between colors probably 5 times once I sat down in a pedicure chair. Now I just show them a picture of what I want and they will custom make a color using a couple of different colors/combos on nail swatches and let me choose. Lastly, they will stay until 8 pm for an appt. if you call ahead and request it. I never feel like they are rushing to get me in and out and onto the next person. The real proof is in the pudding- I am HARD on my nails, I use my hands for everything and dig at my toenails at nail. Despite these bad habits my nails have lasted 7 weeks and still look good, albeit a bit grown out. Trust me- this is where you want to have your nails done. I selfishly dont want to post this review because I dont want my secret to get out but they deserve it. I will drive an hour each way to leave with exactly what I came for until the end of time. Love this place!

Crystal Jean It was my first time here last Thursday. The nail tech Lynn was so nice but, the man at the front desk and the other nail tech next to her were yelling at her. I felt so bad. She did my nails and although I really like her, she started too far up above my cuticle. I didn’t notice until I left and my husband saw them. It has only been 8 days and my nails look like I’ve had them on for over 2 weeks. 50 dollars was way too much for this.

loko rey Its been a couple of weeks but I figured Id write my review today. I was hesitant to go in for my first pedicure as I am a male and someone who stands on their feet all day as a construction worker. My feet are very rough to the touch and my nails arent the cleanest. Fortunately there was a worker who made me feel comfortable about getting the pedicure. I was assured that no matter the condition of my feet there was no judgment and they would take care of me. Long story short I had great service and will be coming back again soon. I know that I need to continue with good foot hygiene. Thank you for excellent customer service!

Ruby Orozco I go at least twice once every 1-2 months and I Always love how my toes get left. But today i was honestly disappointed with my service. It was rushed and ugly work done. It’s patchy and missing color in certain areas. Some areas are not fully white. You can see the splotches left on it. Was not worth what I paid. I also REQUESTED square shaped and that wasn’t done as well as to only file my nails down and not cut and she did the opposite. HORRIBLE JOB by this TECH

Nova Thomison I have been here several times now and am beyond in love with this place! I discovered it as its right near where I live. Dont let the outside fool you (simple and plain), the inside is golden. Youre always met with warm kindness, and offered a beverage. Beyond the basics, customer service is terrific. I had done an expensive chrome on top of dip service and it began to peel off just a few days later, they fixed it immediately for me as a walk-in. I also had an issue with the gel on my toes messing up days after my pedi (im a nurse and went to work for two shifts and it should have held up but looked smeared). Gel dries automatically so it was an issue with the polish. However, no questions asked they fixed it free of charge. Despite the snafoos I will never go anywhere else! Linh is maticulous, gentle, yet speedy, and a perfectionist! She gives great massages for your pedi and will make sure you leave happy!! I am beyond thrilled to make this my new go-to nail home! All of the staff here are wonderful but Ive been going to Linh consistently now and she is the best! Sometimes I am not sure what color I want but she will help decide or give me time without rushing me to decide (this seems basic to me but Ive had nail techs get irritated by this). My only critique (which is for almost every single nail salon now) is I used to pay a tiny bit less and get a shoulder massage when I pay this much for my nails (or at least lotion and hand massage on my hands) but it seems no one does this anymore as part of the service. Dont hesitate to try this place out, they are wonderful!

Julie Chen Really really bad. I came here for a full set of Acrylic nails and I wanted a certain two colors which they later on after applying all the acrylic stuff and gel base coat, told me that the color was only for dip which they could’ve specified earlier. Then, when the lady was buffing my nail with the drill she took off my skin which hurt like a mf. And then on top of all that, my nails didn’t even come out good they’re crooked, the polish isn’t even covering the whole nail, the top coat isn’t covering the whole nail. I’m going to redo it myself. I personally don’t recommend for nails. Other services, i don’t know. Good luck.
