Fatima Siraj This was the best place . My son never sat so still and the haircut was so fast and so precise! The lady was so nice and a real expert with hair. Will definitely come back!!

Ryan Calococci We brought our 2.5 year old here for the first time and it was amazing. The hair stylist was so incredibly sweet and engaging with our son. Not only was his hair cut perfect but it was also amazingly fast. Our son left saying he wanted to go back to see her next time. Weve been to other boutique hair salons for kids which were good but First Clips is on another level.

Landrum First Clips! The good: The lady who cut my hair, who is also the proprietor I believe, does a great job and is actually quite fast. She massages my scalp and finishes with a hot towel. She is very funny as well. I believe she is Korean and has beautiful manners. The prices are reasonable as well. The bad: Nothing bad to report. First Clips is not pretending to be some high-end salon but her service is excellent. I will recommend First Clips to anyone and I will be back.

James Crow She does amazing haircuts here and is very friendly. Highly recommend!!

Antonia Gallegos This salon is beautiful and has a great atmosphere! I came here because my stylist of over 15 years moved to this salon and of course I followed her. Shelby Black is an EXPERT in the art of hair. Everything she does has such a natural and beautiful look to it. She listens to what her clients want and delivers beyond expectations. She has never been overpriced, although she absolutely could be given her expertise. I have even been able to switch some of my friends over to her and they wont go back to their former stylists. Shelby is the best and Uptown Salon is a great location. Highly recommend!

Mila Greenhalgh I went in for a haircut with Jess. It was wonderful! She was so friendly and did and incredible job on my hair. After going over a year without going to the salon because of the pandemic, I was very happy to see this salon taking proper measures to ensure we all stayed safe. Love Uptown salon!

Lisette Trujillo Kleo has been my hairdresser for the last few months and she does an amazing job each and every time! I have dark thick hair naturally so going light blonde is a process. melissa haltom This is my favorite salon I’ve ever been to, and I’m blonde so I’ve been to a lot. I see Kristalyn and she is so sweet and talented. She’s a great listener and seems to somehow know exactly what I want even though I’m terrible at explaining it. I’m shy but she makes me feel heard and comfortable. She explains in depth what she’s going to do and checks up throughout the process to make sure I’m liking what’s happening. The entire staff is so friendly and easy to talk to, I feel so comfortable every time I go in and I always leave with a beautiful head of hair. 100/10 recommend.

Teresa Burnette I was visiting Dallas and needed a cut/style. I booked an appointment at David Ryan Salon based on reviews. I was not disappointed! Kristalyn did a wonderful cut/style. I have course thick hair. She listened to my concerns/ needs and knew exactly what type of cut I needed. She knew my hair needed texturizing not just cutting it short. Kristalyn has lots of experience and was very attentive to the type of hair I have. She was great and the salon staff was welcoming to new clients. I highly recommend the salon!!

Brittni Hendrix I had been searching for a new hair salon home since moving to Flower Mound in August. After trying another salon in town that just wasn’t giving me long-lasting hair color results that I wanted, I came upon Amber Michelle Salon. I was drawn in by the great reviews and awards given to this salon over the past few years, and that they use Oribe products! My favorite! Jordan was my stylist at Amber Michelle Salon. She was so sweet and thorough in asking me questions about my hair, the color goals I had, and brought out samples to match the color before starting. Her attention to detail was fantastic with specific questions about the length of layers I wanted, the products used, and the color correction she performed. I attached before (pink shirt) and after (white shirt) photos so you can see her fabulous work on display. I feel like myself again, and Jordan’s work on my hair was so fabulous. Yall made a repeat client out of me!

Leslee Ramsey Latish is a loving, talented hair stylist who is more than a hairdresser. My Mom who has struggled with severe health issues and a disability had struggled to do her hair or let anyone help her for awhile. When we arrived to Latish’s peaceful and beautiful salon, she was so kind, non-judgmental and just jumped in to help shampoo, comb, cut tangles out, and give my Mom a beautiful look for a lady her age. She blessed my Mom so much and Latish has a beautiful heart and such a kind spirit. She’s a blessing and so is her salon.

Mecaila burnett This lady is the heavenly truth the day I went in it was my first time at a real hair salon and I was afraid to ask for what I truly wanted because of my past experiences but she listened to me and was able to achieve what I asked for and it was above what I could imagine because I didn’t think it could be done the name is right truly a miracle I’m loving my new color and look and thanks for the education on how to take care of my hair I will be returning she is my new beautician. I got a hair color with a silk press.

Rosa M This was our first visit to see Latish for my toddler’s first haircut. She is three years old and has long wavy/curly hair. It was important for us to prioritize a great haircut versus a fun toddler experience. We could not be happier we trusted Latish. She was kind, thoughtful, and very attentive with my girl. Latish had a toddler setup with booster chair and all. She consulted with me to make sure I was comfortable with the length and was great with engaging with my toddler (she is a mom herself). Latish even blew my girl’s hair straight and added a princess style curl since it’s almost her birthday. We got lucky with Valentine’s Day to get a balloon and lollipop as well. Needless to say, mom, dad, and toddler were beyond happy. We will be back and I highly recommend Latish!

Melissa Carpenter Treat yourself to top quality and service- book with Virginia! Everyone here was kind, professional, and welcoming. Greeted and checked in right away and offered a drink. Virginia listened to what I was envisioning then shared her recommendations based on my hair type. The shampoo/conditioner and scalp massage was lovely and didn’t feel rushed at all, the cut was perfect and from start to finish I couldn’t have been happier!

Megan Swanson Ive been seeing Britt Snyder for over three years now, and shes seriously the best. Her skills are totally on point – shes a master stylist, so you know youre in good hands. Plus, shes super friendly and easy to chat with, which makes getting my hair done actually enjoyable (and relaxing!). Shes also really knowledgeable about hair care, and always does an amazing job. Im pretty low-maintenance when it comes to my hair, but my color is always perfect. Seriously, if you need a stylist whos talented and personable, Britts your girl. 10/10, would recommend.

Dustin Smith Kyndall is the best. I have made sure I go wherever she goes to get my haircut. I was in the military and traveled and had my haircut messed up more times than it’s been done correctly. Kyndall is seriously the best haircut I have ever got. That’s saying a lot. I have been in multiple countries, states, continents. She’s the best there is. No joke.

Jason Liewehr Ive been coming tot his salon since before it was Cool Heads. Sure, its gone through some different owners and managers, but today, after an 18 month hiatus, I returned to a triumphant experience. Aubrey was my stylist and she exceeded expectations in terms of execution and service. I booked my appointment online and once I arrived, the check-in process was seamless and easy. Aubrey was kind, offered to buy me a free drink from the bar, and although I declined, she passed no judgement. Once I sat in her chair, I was supremely comfortable as I described my desired cut. Jamie Cicco The Flower Mound Supercuts is always a pleasant experience. Their stylists are very friendly and kind. And I have always had a great experience at this store. Their app makes it easy to check in ahead of time to ensure that you’re never waiting very long. I recommend splurging on a shampoo prior to your cut. The aromatherapy products that they use make for a spa-like experience.

Michael Basoco Angela normally works at our local Las Colinas location but she’s so good we traveled to Flower Mound where she was working today. Worth the trip whatever the distance!!

Joe Leachman Stylist Natalie was super sweet and did a great job! She was fast, efficient and attentive to every detail. It’s not the cheapest (or most expensive) place around, but you’ll get your money’s worth if you communicate with your stylist what you’re looking for.

BSG Drove there for my appointment and waited a while. My stylist was not at the salon. Another stylist gave me my stylist’s number and asked me to call her who then told me that there was some scheduling issue and she was not available that day. This could have been communicated hours, if not days, before. I chose not to reschedule for another day when offered.

Ben Gu Nicole is at suite 45. She is a veteran who has been cutting for couple decades. I used to go to her at Muse Hair, which is a Korean salon in Carrollton, she just opened up her own place here recently. She is the most friendliest hair stylist I have ever met in my life and I go to her ONLY for my haircut for a full year now. Extremely recommended for all haircuts. I am one of the few male clients that she has.

Michelle Manning New to town and tried Cloud 9. I had an appointment with Courtney and after arriving I was told she would need 15-20 more minutes. Very standard. 45 minutes later, she STILL needed more time!!! I immediately checked the google reviews and the first one was about another bad experience with Courtney! I left with no haircut and am annoyed enough by the situation, I brought it to google. DONT GO TO COURTNEY!! Waste of time!!!

Teresa Wali I had an appointment with Courtney and I hate to complain but the appointment was not good. I showed her pictures of what I was looking for, which was lots of layers and layers that frame my face. She said that should be okay for her to do, then halfway through the cut (she did wash & dry it) she says she doesnt feel comfortable cutting the front part of my hair. She asked the stylist next to her (Jeremy) to help and he did a good job. However, he said for her to finish my hair. In the time he was trying to layer the front part of my hair, she had started helping another client. She asked if I could stay and wait, I said no problem. An hour goes by if waiting and I said I couldnt wait any longer and left without a style and unfinished cut. She did say I could come back for a free style but I preferred not to return and went to another salon. Where they said there were no layers added to my hair and it didnt appear I even had a haircut prior to that visit. Extremely frustrating I paid for a haircut twice at that point and only one true cut from another Salon. I didnt feel like the cut I got from Courtney was worth the price, I think she needs more experience before she can agree to certain levels of haircuts.

Urmi Nayak Summer does my hair most of the times (roots and trim) but all the stylists do an amazing job! I have had the best experience every time I have gone there. She cut my kids’ hair this time (9 months and 2.5 years old). My 2.5 year old did not make it easy for her with the crying and squirming but she was still able to give him a great haircut. She accommodated his fear of the trimmer by using scissors only. Definitely check them out for your family’s hair needs.

Sunny Ham This salon is my favorite place for past 8years. I met Claire and Kyle since they were in Carrollton location. It is much further from my home but I couldn’t find another hair stylist better than them so me and my husband drive 45 min to visit them. Not only their pricing and services are much cheaper than Tony&Guys but also services you get is equivalent to high end salons. They also keep up with new trends and educate their employees. I highly recommend this salon and you will not regret the transitions that you made with your current salon.

Bethany McKerlie I’ve been seeing Allie close to about 1.5 - 2 years now, every 3-4 months for a balayage touch-up and haircut. Every time is such an amazing experience! She knows what I want & when I’m not sure, she gives me her professional opinion which I trust with my whole heart. Trusting someone to do your hair, especially when color is involved gives me anxiety so when I found Allie, I knew my search was over. I feel like a new person every time I step out of the salon! I completely forgot to do a before pic but I can tell you I had dark hair before where my previous balayage had grown out. During this visit I got curtain bangs, layers for depth &, balayage. I have thick hair so most of my appointments run 4-6 hours depending on what needs to get done. I can’t do a review based on the scheduling system since my appointments are always in advance. I always schedule my next appointment after that current hair appointment. If you’re looking for a hair salon, the vibes and atmosphere of this place is wonderful. If Allie has a spot open, I highly recommend you book her!

My mom has Parkinsons and is very slow. but Patrice is so kind and patient with her. Patrice is very sweet, and she does a great job. My review will be based on these “strip mall” style salons that seem to be the standard for the area. I have not seen a high end in FM. When you come in you are always greeted and offered something while you wait. Everyone uses the same products so it looks cleaner. I understand some stylists prefer to rent chairs and have their own products but if my stylist isn’t available I like to know the same products are used in the salon. My stylist is Ryleigh. She is the the reason I chose the salon based on her social media. I thought her work was lovely and so I brought her pictures to see if she could correct what had happened at Cloud 9. She’s a very warm and kind person but also a good and honest stylist who will let you know what is obtainable and the path to getting there. The only issues I’ve had are that sometimes what we say will happen at the next appointment aren’t written in the book which is a small communication disconnect but she has always managed to make time to make it right (I always have a planner with me that I write in). If you’re looking for a stylist Ryleigh is fantastic but all the hair I’ve seen done there looks good when finished. I appreciate when the other stylists are friendly and they often are. It’s a nice place.

Sarah Kim Very disappointed with my experience at Hayden Hair. I had been coming to Lexi a few times now with a goal of getting my hair to a dimensional med-light brown and maintaining it. I naturally have dark brown hair, but my hair was already double-bleached and dyed a medium brown from another salon before my first appointment with Lexi. This last appointment, I was scheduled for a cut, partial highlight, and glaze to get my hair to a lighter brown since my roots were growing out a bit. After showing her my reference photo and explaining I wanted my hair to be a lighter brown, we switched from a glaze to a hair dye per her advice. After the appointment, my hair was a DARK brown, the same as my natural color. I noted the darkness to which she promised it would lighten to the reference photo after 4-6 washes. Although skeptical, I put my trust in her and paid and went on my way. The dark color remained even after 7 washes (3.5 weeks), so I contacted the salon since the color never lightened to the reference like I was told it would. I asked if I could come in and have it fixed to be more like the reference photo, or at least have my next service discounted (I did not ask for a refund!) since I paid a lot of money to not get what I want and basically had my hair reverted back to my natural color. (Almost $300 after tip.) I was told they wouldn’t fix it or discount the next service, but would have to pay full price for another service since I contacted the salon past a week after my appointment, even though I was told to wait 4-6 washes before seeing the desired results. TLDR; asked to go a lighter brown, and left the salon with dark brown (almost black) hair that is much darker than what I even came in with. Salon will not fix their mistake.

Helena Lynch Boone Attempting to post this again because it was taken down. People need to know the truth about this salon, and how can they if he takes down every negative review he gets? If I could give this negative stars, I would. My mother was treated absolutely atrociously at this hair salon. She arrived back home with a completely crooked haircut. One side of her hair was shorter than the other. When my mother asked him to fix it, he told her she was being difficult and that it was not crooked, then proceeded to kick her out of the salon. How dare you? Luckily, she didn’t pay for her haircut. How could I, a 24 year old woman with no hair experience, see that her hair is completely crooked, but a man who is supposed to be trained in this ability can’t??? Ramon, you are a fraud. You do not know how to cut hair, and I can guarantee that none of our family or friends will ever be going to your salon.

Victoria Schwertner Ramon is awesome! He is so knowledgeable about styling, but more importantly how to care for your hair long term. I learned more about caring for my hair and hair health in one haircut than I have learned at any previous hair appointments combined. He was fast, efficient, and the cost of the service was an incredible value. No need to find a high end salon in the city.

Amy Weber Ramon is amazing, he did my hair way back when at his old salon on 3040, he even cut my hair when I had cancer and it was falling out, and he helped me grow it back. Hes a compassionate person who loves to make his customers feel good and reach their goals.

Jehssye Greasley I love them! Maddie colors and styles my hair and doesn’t do anything half way! She has her customers as top priority. The owner Ramon is the same they both do an amazing job, they explain so much that no other salon does! From why my hair is acting a certain way to how their products work and help my hair! Thank you guys so much!!!
