Kim Gzlz Im new to Harlingen and I have been looking for a place to get my nails done. I hear Luxe is a very good place to go. I gave it a try and got a manicure shellac done and this is after one week! I have never had shellac fall off this easily. Update: went back to get them redone and they ask me if I want a change in color so me thinking okay they are redoing them for free might well change the color it could have been possible that the last color polish was bad well at the end they end up charging me because I chose a different color when they never mentioned if I chose a different color I was going to get charge. Never going back

Samantha First timers for my daughter and I. I went in for a manicure and shellac colorful tips, and she went in for the picture posted. The area was beautiful and clean. No wait time (Tuesday daytime). Great price. Will be returning soon.

urpieceofheaven 2 Initially, I observed that only a select few of the nail technicians here possess design skills, yet they all charge premium rates. Unfortunately, Ive had two disappointing experiences where my polish chipped off within a day, requiring me to return for repairs. However, each subsequent visit resulted in another nail being chipped, creating an ongoing cycle. This issue occurred with two separate technicians. Notably, each trip requires a 20-minute drive (my commute each way), and upon arrival, only the affected nail would be addressed. Furthermore, they never pick up their phones! Which is why after several failed attempts, I opted to risk it and make the risk of driving to there to take the chance to perhaps be seen by a walk-in or waste my time and be forced to schedule an appointment, if so can you imagine wasting a whole hour! All because they didn’t answer their phones! But do I recommend? Yes! I mean yes is frustrating when they don’t answer the phone! Having to drive there and waste your time! Getting a tech that charges premium fees and then the nails chips and she can’t even do designs! But they also help each other and ask the next girl to help with the design, and If you ask for something simple, no design nothing from Pinterest than more than likely they’ll be able to replicate. And next time you go get the tech’s number so you can directly message her instead of calling, the one you like, in no particular order, Kimberly for sure she is nice and talented! And I’ll post a picture of her work, one tall girl that she takes attention to detail, I also have a picture of her work, but she doesn’t know how to do designs, she’ll ask someone else for that, Ana, with her the nails do last a long time but also never knew how to do any designs, and Kisha she’s good!

Stephany Rae **BEWARE!** on 7-8-22 I had went to go get my eyebrows done (Great service btw ) when I had went to go pay I had paid with my debt card and of course got a copy of my Receipt . When I checked my bank statement I see that they had somehow charged me $27.90 . I called and spoke to the owner and she kept telling me that she didn’t know how it got charged that amount . When I had called my bank they had told me that they were requesting a charge of $27.90 . My bank had told me they could’ve re entered the amount . When I told the owner what my bank had told me they had told me to bring my Receipt so they can give me a refund . When I went to go get my refund the owner looked so upset give me $20 and left . She didn’t even say sorry or anything. Be careful if you’re going to pay with card . Smh .

yanigeo I went in on January 9th (my birthday) to get a pedicure and acrylic nails. I don’t know how they did my nails but they are done so poorly. It’s been 5 days and my nail chipped of opening up a makeup shadow at work, not only that but the nails are lifting and I was able to literally bite off the rest of the nail without it hurting. The nail came off like a press on nail. Not only that but the lady cut my cuticles on both hands. I would not recommend this place!!!!!!

Nadine De Leon I absolutely love this salon! The staff was so nice and welcoming. Nathan did an amazing job on my nails and the price was really fair. I came in as a walk in and the wait was minimal considering it was after 5 PM during the Christmas holiday season. I also ordered a boba tea (I highly recommend Taro) and it was so good! I will definitely be a regular now.

belle hdz n the afternoon to get them fixed. The next the day, saturday (7-8-23) i had to go in again because the gel polish on my toes was chipping and because i noticed she did not paint the tips of the nails, i asked her to paint them and she did a terrible sloppy job some nails have no polish on the tops while others have so much there’s a lump of polish under my nails Later on that same day the gel polish on my toes chipped again and the tip to the one nail she fixed for me broke off completely. i then went in on monday (7-10-23) to get my nails repaired and the nail tech, I believe her name is Ashley, stated that I had to pay for my nails to get fixed because I had chipped the acrylic and that is why the gel polish came off i then showed her that the acrylic was in fact, not chipped it was still there, but the polish simply wasn’t she then became very upset and started arguing with me, saying that this was my fault and not hers. I then told her all the nails were all ugly, and that she had simply done a terrible job so I wanted someone else to fix them. Another very nice lady offer to fix them for me and even saw that the gel polish was poorly applicated . On top of that while I was getting my nails fixed, she continued to talk about me openly so I asked her if she wanted to continue the conversation or to drop it. She’s rolled her eyes at me, and turned away. Very rude. Customer service is terrible will never go there again, how is it possible i’ve had gel polish last 3+ weeks at other salons but not even last a whole week at this one. although my gel polish is still chipping I refuse to go back because i don’t want to deal with her again.

Gloria Jean Work was ok, but within half an hour, my soles and sides of my feet were rough. The polish was laid super thick and created a ridge around cuticles that pulled away, looking odd. Didnt trim nails enough or smooth skin out. Didnt line tub. I was concerned. Will never go back. Friendly, though. No wait. Now, I know why.

Anne Cortez Went today with my sister to get pedis. And the man who did my pedicure MESSED UP MY TOENAILS!!! AND HE CUT ME ON TWO DIFFERENT TOES and when I asked him what happened he wrote me off. I didn’t feel it because I have MS and don’t have feeling in my toes. And he was like “oh you didn’t say it hurt”. As I was bleeding. No sorry, no discount nothing!!! Worst experience ever. I will NEVER BE BACK.

Roxanne Pedraza So unhappy with their service. I got my toes and nails done. In the process the cut me and I bled and almost fainted due to I can’t see blood. I got my set done to come to my trip in Mexico. Not even a day later my nails, which were shellac, started peeling. My toes were two different shades as well. I tried calling and no one answered me, I tried messaging on Facebook and not a reply back. For the money I paid they should have lasted a lot longer. I’m having to pay more to get them redone over here in Mexico. Definitely do not recommend them.

Karina Grand I went in for a fill in and to redo the color. The nail tech botched my nails. As you can see, the nail shape is horrid, noticeably uneven, and super thick. The nail tech cut my skin, while trying to cut down my nails. The gel polish is NOT a solid color, and really highlights the unevenness of the nail. Additionally, you can see my real nail peaking through on my thumb! Attached you will find pictures straight out of the salon. I cannot believe I paid $50 for this poor job.

Mar Rodriguez Horrible experience!! The older Asian man was really rough. He had already finished cutting my cuticles and he went back and pulled on one of the cuticles to the point it bled and wouldn’t stop bleeding. To make things worse when he added the first layer of gel polish it wasn’t near the color I wanted n it looked old n watered down like he was trying to get the end of it. I told him it was ok I didn’t want anything and to remove the polish! As a mom I can only get my nails done when I get a chance and time and he totally ruined it for me!!!!

Josie Avila Been coming to this nail salon for more than a year now. Love the calm environment & friendly staff. Jacqueline does my services, she does everything, from toes, to nails, to hair, waxing, & makeup. Definitely recommend her & this establishment.

Roseanna Gomez I recently visited I drove from Houston for my grandfathers funeral. While there, I visited the Spa Nail Bar in Harlingen. I was helped by Mr. Tran, who did a great job on my nails. I would definitely visit again and appreciate the service provided to me as soon as I walked in.

MeshiaLeray Gonzales Really nice place went to get a basic pedicure with Tracy , she was awesome! My toes look great! They have live music and drinks and snacks You do get free wine with your pedicure, but Margs and other mixed drinks cost, prices vary. The massage on the pedicure was good! she also informed me they do lash extensions there starting at 35 dollars to 55 depending if you want mink or not. Definitely an experience!

Jillian The worst service I have ever received. Me and my friend went in for acrylic manicures. She (my friend) chose a color and gave it to the nail tech. While she was getting her nails done, the nail tech made 3 fingers bleed, then proceeded to call her nails ugly and laugh at her. She also refused to do the color that she asked for and put instead a tan acrylic base and not pink like she asked. The nail tech smacked gum in her face the entire appointment, and in the middle of her manicure, she got up and went on to the next client. Because she left, another woman took over and GOT UP, LEFT, AND WENT TO GO to ANOTHER GIRLS EYEBROWS, leaving my friends nails half done. While the lady was gone, my friend began to cry as her fingers were bleeding and red. I tried to comfort her, but her nails were the wrong color and bleeding. I would cry too. I was halfway satisfied with my nails despite being the wrong shape and length even after I asked for them to be shortened. Do not come here.

Asha Shell If you’re not already booking with Amy’s Nail Salon, you need too! Ask for Yuri, her work is flawless and her personality is even more of a pleasure to be around. Loved my experience here and will most definitely be frequenting this salon.

Cora White Amy was kind but so much was bad, the girl doing my nails cut my pinky and made it bleed, she also didn’t apologize for this or say anything, she also got nail polish on my shirt and didn’t apologize. My nails are mis-shaped, painted badly and overall just chunky and bad looking. Amy also cut a woman’s toenail in front of me who was sitting at the front of the store and it started bleeding all over the floor. Everything was gross and they don’t seem to clean before or after people. Overall just horrid experience

Martha Reyes Garcia My daughter and I walked in to get nails. She wanted acrylic nails and I wanted dipped nails. They started working on my daughter, but the owner started to question my choice of dipped nails. Out loud she asked why I preferred dipped nails. Then she proceeded to walk back and forth grabbing and man handling different objects within the nail salon being mad about dipped nails over and over again. She had an adult tantrum because I asked for dipped nails …totally embarrassing me in front of the hole salon. I thought you ask for service and pay for the service. I left. I will never go back to this nail salon. I would never recommend anybody, not even my worst enemy to go to this place.

Bianca M GOSSIPERS, CHISMOSAS, they treated me bad said that I was weird because I looked at myself in the mirror to see how I looked with my new nails. They were very rude and arrogant, not friendly nor polite ,they treated me with contempt.and I was charged a total of 113 dollars for everything. And they talked bad about me to my own mother infront of everyone. I went in happy and came out emotionally, mentally and verbally abused and then ripped off. This place is cursed I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone .

Debra Waterson They do are wonderful job. I always get fancy designs. I take in pictures from pinterest and they copy them. I had to go to 4 different nail salons before I found one that Im comfortable at.

laurie Linsicombe I have been going there to get my nails done for the past year. Never had too much of a problem other than they are on their cell phones alot. I went there today to get my nails done and the main guy their told me I should come back later. I dont think so! I drove up from Los Fresnos because I wanted to keep giving them my business. I found another nail place that is the same price and does a better job and didnt send me away.

Mary Coble I have been going to Happy Nails with my granddaughters for years. We have manicures, pedicures, and nails. The last time we went will be the last! Two of us wanted manicures and pedicures and one wanted nails. Anna was the only one there who could do nails and she finished her customer and left and never came back. We we were finished with our mani/pedis before someone was available to do nails. It took almost 3 hours and they were not busy!

Mayra Morales THE MOST HORRIBLE NAILS IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! I went in with both daughters spent 175$ I got acrylic with gel and a pedi with gel and both shellacs lifted within 2 hrs!! Went back to ask for my money back for shellac and they had me waiting for 1hr then the lady tells me she’s to busy and can’t redo it! Then finally after complaining to her she tells me she can’t refund but can fix. On the 2nd day they lift again! Just horrible work. While she fixed the nails she kept pulling my hands and just being aggressive. I don’t remember her name but she has a big Buddha hanging on her neck and is around 50 or 60 yrs old sits on the 4th row 1st space! Anyway, I never write reviews but as a business owner I will expect more than this horrible experience! I will also share on fb and Instagram! You guys don’t deserve to have business! Period!

Lo Ojeda The customer service is horrible! They always rush on any pedicure! Its not enjoyable nor worth it at all! First time was horrible, gave it another chance, Never again! If your looking for a nice pedicure, this is not the place. Dont waste your money.

Sandra Caballero DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Took my daughter there to get nails for a special occasion. She was happy up until we went here. I asked the nail tech a simple question and she flew off the handle all offended. She proceeded to do the most horrible job on my daughters nails. The atmosphere was already tense because they proceeded to have an awkward discussion as to what time they should take the last client. Needless to say workers were not happy. Overall worst experience ever at a nail place. Will never go there again and they ruined a happy moment. Now my daughter has to fix this mess before her special occasion. Ppl if u dont like your job then do something else. Dont ruin nice things for other ppl.

Bertha Balboa If this is the new chloe’s nail salon inside the mall near Jcpenney. Please do not waste your time or money. Very dissapointed. The staff is nice but the job absolutely sucks. I had a pedi done which no scrubbing or removal of cuticles was done. I dont even think she clipped my nails. Also the shellac on my hands was poorly done and chip the following day. I was so dissapointed.

Caty Gutierrezz Absolutely no cuticle treatment, what I asked for looks nothing like what I got, French tip is too low most of my nails are half white half pink glitter. Before walking in, I made the phone call explaining the nail design I wanted and got an estimate charge of $30. I ended up paying $45 bc I got powder dip (it’s quicker as she stated) I ALSO got a pedi that messed up in the salon and she attempted to fix it by rubbing nail polish remover with her finger to smooth it out.

Irene Leanos Horrible job asked for coffin shaped nails and they look nothing how they are supposed to. Also the polish is chipping off after 3 days of getting them done. My cousin got them done with me and one of her nails fell of 2 days after getting them done. Would not recommend coming if you are looking for a long lasting acrylics.

Camille Biden I’d give this place no stars if I could honestly. I went there being referred by a friend who swore that they could give me what I wanted! I paid $90 bucks for this! I was in shock when I left the salon!! And before you ask why didn’t I say something as they were being done, I honestly was trying to trust the process and then I was in disbelief as the man who did then praised his work!! I have not and will never go back to this place again!!

Kimberly Smith I asked for a certain yet simple design and they wanted to charge me $120. I settled for just a French Tip and they didnt do it like they were supposed to yet they still charged me $70. I went to another salon and asked how much they would charge me for the design I originally wanted and they quoted me $80. This place is so expensive and very unprofessional.

Nikki Lopez Went to get a pedicure and just shellac on my nails... this was not a pleasant visit. As you can see, there was many many bumps on the polish, the clean line around nail was NOT clean leaving a messy spotty polish area on some skin parts. The end result was not buffed/filed so the rough edges are a big No NO! The polish also had streaks of a blackish all throughout but these photos doesn’t bring that out as much. Overall, I wouldn’t go here again.

Hilda Kobak I went there today and they told me to sign up, I did. Then waited 15 minutes thinking I was next or someone else was going to help but no. 2 people working there. When I saw the guy that was doing nails get up I thought I was next but he went to do a pedicure. I told they couldve told me that he had the other client and it would take more than 1 hrs.
