I was having a issue with my starter and he replaced it ,but then another problem happened with it not starting. He did everything possible to figure it out and got it running . When I came in they had me make an appointment so I did, but when I was leaving another women came and they just told her to come tomorrow and she didnt have to make an appointment. They never tried to push any extra things on me, like places usually try to do. If they told me my truck needed something, it really needed it. My family and I always joke that we wish we could drive up to Lubbock from Austin to get all our trucks serviced there! You can’t go wrong bringing your truck here!

Veronica Czewski: This is a dishonest man deceiving people based on my personal experience. My SUV needed a heater hose replacement. I was parked in front O‘Rielly’s . He told me he would not warranty O’Reilly’s parts on his work, because the parts were “cheap”. He claimed that the correct part was only at Autozone. He returned 3 hours later. He charged me for a new heater hose and labor $180. He didn’t put on a new heater hose, instead he placed a $7 plastic T at the connection points! I reached out 2 days later when the plastic T blew off. He was rude! He refused to return my money or complete the job he had been paid to finish. Below are the photos of the original broken heater hose, and his repair. Lubbock Police Department said it was a civil matter rather than criminal.

After spending over $8,000 dollars on the engine which was mid-diagnosed the first time, they finally got it back to me. This last problem lasted 8 months, as they got my approval to fix the new problem in November of 2024. Upon picking it up, I drove it 78 miles and got stranded in Lamesa. 78 miles and now have to tow it back to this shop. Terrible, terrible!!!!! Needless to say, worst experience ever.

I contacted my good friend who mentioned her husband, Chris Negen, worked at Christian Brothers Automotive. I decided to give them a shot, and as soon as I entered the building I was welcomed right on the spot. Chris was so polite, generous, and very knowledgeable. I was told about the process they would be doing and it only took them about 45 minutes! Chris went above and beyond to ensure that they would get my car all fixed up, and that’s exactly what happened, no hassle necessary!

Asher: If youre looking for a reputable, honest, and communicative mechanic in Lubbock, look no further than Prock Automotive! Im a bit of a hypochondriac when it comes to my car, and brought it in over a small noise that it had started making. The first time I brought it in, they fixed my A/C up (for a reasonable price) since it hadnt been functioning at 100%, but the noise was still there. Brought my car back in to have it looked over more thoroughly; after inspecting the underside they adjusted my brake pads, but couldnt find anything to be concerned about! They returned my car to me free of charge, despite taking out time to replicate the sound I had noticed, check for any visible issues, adjust what they could, and test it again to ensure that the adjustment helped. My car had to be kept at the shop for a couple of days due to the volume of jobs they had, but they still took time to get my car looked at as quickly as they could! I greatly appreciate their communication with me, as they kept track of the status of my car and happily gave me updates each time I called about it. I was worried that calling each day would be bothersome, but I was always met with friendliness and knowledge about what exactly had been done with my car since the last time I called. I will be coming back after this experience, not just for the honesty they approached the job with, but also for the excellent customer service!
