Joseph Walker I had a terrible experience with Pope Automotive in Lubbock. I brought my vehicle in to have the A/C serviced and recharged. They charged me a significant amount, and when I got home, I checked it and found it was completely empty—no cold air at all. Clearly, nothing was actually fixed. I went back to confront them, and instead of taking responsibility, they told me I’d have to pay again to have it serviced. They claimed it might be an electrical issue—but how would that make the refrigerant disappear? That points to a leak, not an electrical problem. If they had used dye or done a proper pressure test the first time, they would’ve found the issue. This place is a rip-off with awful customer service. I absolutely do not recommend bringing your vehicle here. Save your money and go somewhere that knows what they’re doing and actually stands by their work.

Travis Gibson I recently took my car into Pope Auto to address a couple of ongoing issues that Id been having with the front driver side breaks/axel of my vehicle. The team there quickly looked everything over and found a bearing that needed to be replaced. Additionally I asked them to look the rest car over and in doing so they discovered that my serpentine belt was cracked and about to fail. They got both of those things taken care of for me pretty fast compared to what Ive experience at other mechanics in town. After driving the vehicle a couple of days I noticed that the breaks were still making a bit of noise. This was not directly related to noise caused by the worn out bearing, so I thought they may have missed it, so I took it back. When looking that the breaks more specifically. They realized that the hub was bent which was causing issues with the breaking system. I couldnt think of anything that has happened to the car that would have resulted in a bent hub, but stranger things have happened Im sure. They said there was a small chance the hub could have been bent when the bearings were replaced. I expected to have another bill for this repair and additional repairs to the breaks, but since they missed it the first time and couldnt 100% prove it wasnt caused by the previous repair, they took care of the hub and the break issue completely free of charge. I was blown away that they didnt charge me for at least the breaks. Its good doing business with a shop who has integrity and will take responsibility for an issue and take care of the customer even if they arent 100% certain it was their fault.

Md Mezbah Uddin Both jason and joe are awesome. Honest people. I went there to fix my door locks and horns. The pricing is fair. And they have drop off and pick up. The place is also quite nice. Will surely recommend. I will also visit them again for sure.

Catfrosticus Excellent service and fair pricing. The team was able to get my blend door actuator replaced and get my car heating the way it should be. Highly recommended. I will use them again!

Brandie Givens I came to Adams Garage after a mobile mechanic fixed one thing and broke another. Adam and his wife was able to repair my car! They are very knowledgeable and honest. They take the time to explain what the issue was and they are so reasonable! I definitely recommend Adams Garage.

BRENNEN Cowley 10/10 Scott’s is amazing: great customer service, honest and fair pricing, and a very knowledgeable team. I did a night drop-off of my girlfriends 2018 Chevy Sonic, and the next morning they called me with the cause and a fix. The PCV valve had gone out. They informed me that it was integrated into the valve cover and that it would need to be replaced. They got it done within the next day; it took two days total. That is an amazing turnaround time. It’s been 2 weeks, and the car is still running better than before. I will continue to take her car there as well as recommend Scotts to other people. I can’t thank their team enough. Honest, trustworthy team.

Jose Mendoza I have never met such honest mechanic shop. I brought in our pick up, thinking We needed the brake pads replaced. Kimberly called me, explained they were still in good condition that there was no need to replace them now. I will keep bringing in my pick ups for any mechanical issues in the future with Trejos automotive for sure!!

Araceli Castellanos - Flores Kimberly was not in the office the day I contacted for service and she still got me an estimate within a few minutes, communicated proficiently, and had great customer service. My repairs were done fast and the price was fair! I appreciate that they didn’t try to sell me work that wasn’t necessary to get my car back up and running. They have gained a repeat customer!

Heather Davis Every part of my experience with Spallholz Motorwerks was exceptional! Ms. Linda in the office was amazing with communication and kept me informed of the entire process. The technician who called after my diagnosis was very knowledgeable and kind as well. They are upfront and honest. They even charged less than the original quote because they were able to do less than they originally thought. I’m thankful I found Spallholz!

Rob Winkleman If it were possible to give 12 stars, I would. I found myself in a crisis when another shop in town returned my Porsche Cayenne Turbo to me with at least five problems that it didn’t have when we took it in. With a cross country move planned in three weeks, I took it to Spallholz Moterwerks. Within hours I had a detailed list of the problems and needed repairs. The previous shop had the vehicle for 10 weeks and couldn’t figure out what to do. Chris Harvey was our technician, and he called with every update and additional concern that was identified, and worked either me on fixes within my budget and timeline. They were able to fix everything in less than 2 weeks. I so thankful to have my car road trip ready. Thank you to Brian, Chris, and Linda for great customer service! If you need a mechanic for w European car, save yourself time and money and go to Spallholz Motorwerks!

Kaylee Luna I could not recommend this shop more! I called around for what I thought would be major repair involving our Dodge journey and was met with shops just saying bring it in and they’d diagnose but the repair time could be a few weeks. Here, the owner Rocky took time to discuss my concerns over the phone and was confident they could diagnose the exact cause of the issues and have it repaired quickly. My husband had also repaired several things on the car himself and they took time to discuss his thought process to his diagnosis of the vehicle issues, we’ve never had a shop be so receptive and actually listen to us so intently before even bringing the vehicle in! We dropped our vehicle off and it was repaired within 2 days! There were several issues and they were incredibly thorough and kept us informed every step of the way! We weren’t able to have all repairs completed at that time due to financial strain but took our vehicle back a few weeks later to have everything completed and it was fixed within a few hours!

Beau Cobb We were in town helping one of our children move and had an issue on a Saturday. With a 6 hour drive ahead of us we needed to find a solution quickly. David answered the phone and said he could take a look immediately. They pulled our truck in as we arrived. They diagnosed and completed a fairly extensive repair within a few hours.

Randi Crandall I’ve had the MOST frustrating time taking my car here for service. I have a coolant leak and after 2 separate visits and $850+ later I STILL have a coolant leak. I feel as though the technicians are spinning a wheel and picking an issue to “fix” and hope it works. I feel scammed and no longer want to take my car here for service. Only reason I have 2 stars is because the front desk guy is very kind and does his job well and provides excellent customer service

Veronica Czewski This is a dishonest man deceiving people based on my personal experience. My SUV needed a heater hose replacement. I was parked in front O‘Rielly’s . He told me he would not warranty O’Reilly’s parts on his work, because the parts were “cheap”. He claimed that the correct part was only at Autozone. He returned 3 hours later. He charged me for a new heater hose and labor $180. He didn’t put on a new heater hose, instead he placed a $7 plastic T at the connection points! I reached out 2 days later when the plastic T blew off. He was rude! He refused to return my money or complete the job he had been paid to finish. Below are the photos of the original broken heater hose, and his repair. Lubbock Police Department said it was a civil matter rather than criminal.

Melissa Mcallister AC stopped blowing cold in our truck. We took truck to Mark at Penas Automotive. Mark had our AC blowing cold air in just a couple of hours. Awesome to have had same day service. I definitely recommend calling Mark if you need quality work done on your car. His prices are fair and reasonable. He is our go to when it comes to having our vehicles worked on. Everyone at Penas are friendly and quick to get you taken care of.

Zachary Pierce Phenomenal service! Passing through Lubbock when our engine light came on. It was quittin time and they had us back on the road, with a new set of plugs, in under an hour. If I lived here Id be back regularly, for sure.

Cody Perry Jim Phillips is awesome. Needed an O2 sensor replaced and had already had the diagnostic worked up at another shop. They were super chill to work with, waived my diagnostic fee, and took care of the O2 sensor without any problems. Best part is they could tell me the exact price to the cent to get the repair done before I brought the car in, and got it done within a day just like they said they would. This is an honest auto shop that does good work, and Id feel safe putting my family in any car that they work on.

Amanda Phipps Took our 2010 Audi here after a few places gave us the run around. I spoke with Greg about our vehicle anytime anything came up I spoke with Greg, never anyone else, always one person. Greg was very informative and detailed about the work that needed to be done. Overall great experience and would recommend to anyone.

PTS Deeznutz Claimed to have more knowledge than other garages, even talked down about Oreillys. Kept my car 4 days, and charged me 180 for the same information oreillys had given me for free. Wanted more than the cost of a new engine to fix a timing issue. (Almost 1800) Claimed they needed to rent a special tool to do the job, but that tool only cost 40 bucks online. I wont be using them again

Emma Suzanne This past week my car battery suddenly died, and I was without transportation. I contacted my good friend who mentioned her husband, Chris Negen, worked at Christian Brothers Automotive. I decided to give them a shot, and as soon as I entered the building I was welcomed right on the spot. Chris was so polite, generous, and very knowledgeable. I was told about the process they would be doing and it only took them about 45 minutes! Chris went above and beyond to ensure that they would get my car all fixed up, and that’s exactly what happened, no hassle necessary!

Allison Sanchez we took my 2017 honda pilot in there a while back for a new motor and christian brothers took really good care of us. they are friendly and very knowledgeable in this industry they shopped around and got me the best motor for my budget. even after they replaced my motor my car started acting up and they once again took great care of us and my car is back on the road. this company blessed us beyond our own imagination so thank you christian brothers for the amazing work may you and your employees be blessed

Kendall Aguilar I asked about a key fob remake and got quoted $700, found a cheaper place and attempted to call this location back a few minutes later to cancel the new key fob. My calls werent answered for 20 minutes and when they do answer they stated that I will still be charged $99 since they had already started. So I got back my broken key fob and still had to pay $99.

N S The service quick, it was under 30 minutes for an oil change. The gentleman in the office was very polite. When I came in they had me make an appointment so I did, but when I was leaving another women came and they just told her to come tomorrow and she didnt have to make an appointment. But otherwise its a great place to go.

Luke Turner I came in for a simple check engine light, and was blown away by how quick and transparent the service was. Everything was completed in under an hour! Jacob did a great job walking me through the process, and Fabian had my ticket written up and me out the door before I knew it. Can’t recommend them enough—far better experience than any dealership I’ve dealt with in the area!

Dawn Shugard took our car there trying to see whats wrong with it. before we took it to a different mechanic and they just lied to me. birdsong kept it for several days couldnt figure it out but didnt charge me anything it was a very complex problem. so nice about it great people! :)

Kirstie Limon I cannot urge you enough - go here for any and all car repairs! My check engine light started flashing, I called and they got me in same day. Fixed my vehicle same day, within an hour, as well! That alone deserves beyond 5 stars. However, Joe was incredibly kind to me and my children on the phone and while we waited. Absolutely wonderful customer service on all fronts!

Donnell Archer Took my 2003 Jeep Wrangler to Full Service for front end alignment, replace tie rod adjustment sleeve, a/c service & repair, and oil change. Joe was professional, courteous, informative, and prompt with the repairs. There was one thing he found that was causing my a/c issues, of which he notified me of the situation, explained the needed repair, told me what it would cost, and then sought permission to proceed. Everything was exactly as he said. I appreciate the manner in which he conducts business and his trustworthiness during the repair. I highly recommend Joe and team for any needed repairs at a fair price for a job done right. Give ‘em a shot and you won’t be sorry.
