5 /5 Amanda Abbott: I cannot say enough good things about Affordable Auto Repair. I have had horrible problems with my Ford Escape (70,000 miles) and Tony has been fantastic from "check engine" onward. First, he worked me in the day I brought my car to him, and when I continued to have problems (Ford factory issue), he was extremely thorough in diagnosing the root of the problem. When it turned out to be a very specific issue, he wasnt afraid to advise me to go to a dealer because the dealer might be able to get Ford to help with the repair since there was a related recall. He wasnt selfish trying to keep the job for himself. When I told him that the dealer confirmed that I needed a new engine, and that Ford was not going to help with the cost, he went right to work trying to find me the best possible solution that would be both affordable and reliable. He ended up doing the same job that the dealership was going to do but for less than their, "lowest possible offer". Even if it was more expensive though, I would have towed it back to him because he has been HONEST since the start. This car issue has been very frustrating but fortunately, I have never had a better experience with a mechanic. If you need help with your car, go see Tony!
