5 /5 Jennifer K: So me and my momma can sometimes be a bit chatty. The Nurse Manager Felicia Green came in to introduce herself. Mom mentioned that the building that we’re in, was opened the same day my brother was born. He was the first baby born here and then 13 months later she gave birth to the first sibling born here. Well Ms. Felicia talked to their Hospitality manager Francisco Gonzalez and he got with Melissa Winans and they brought my Momma a beautiful iris to commemorate. It was so sweet and kind! And they said they couldn’t leave me out so this boujie girl got a nice robe, some slippers, and eyes mask with ear plugs. This hospital is hands down the best!

Point of opportunity: Dont call a patients emergency contact at 5 am in the morning only to ask for admittance details and never give any information about the patient or why they are there. Seems like common sense that you would call with an important update first. 30 minutes later, every number I call doesnt seem to know who my family member is, but hospital administration got their intake done. Great checkbox.

3 /5 JewelBOX News Dobbs: Maternity Recovery Great, Jill, Carina, Jennifer & Angela were Wonderful, polite, courteous, and sincere. The facility is beautiful and clean. The delivery dept. seems to come to work to socialize. In pain over an hour waiting for meds.Sat for 4 hrs after Epidural before Dilation check, So baby was stressing & ready. Didn’t even have to push, baby slid out. Very Non- informative. Only giving you information if you ask. Won’t put Dad on birth certificate because dad left to go to work after paperwork signed & been here 3 days. Not Texas Law their rule he has to be here when they input or name not put on certificate . Told us 3 hrs b4 release! DUMB dont come here

4 /5 Mitra Kalyani: I stayed one night post surgery. My pre op and post op nurses in the Margo Perot building were amazing. Once they admitted me and took me to the 4th floor I had three nurses. Two of my nurses simply just did their job and didn’t pay mind that I couldn’t even move to put my own blanket on myself which was so disappointing. No care no empathy and my discharge nurse put in my catheter in correctly which caused pain and leaking. They only came in when they had to. But nurse LORI went over and beyond during the most painful night of my life. She spoon fed me ice, advocated on my behalf by calling me doctors middle of the night to get me the stronger meds i needed without me having to ask, bought me broth because I couldn’t even hold down a cracker due to pain, made sure I was the best I could possibly be while reassuring me that I was strong and would be okay. She did her job to the fullest but was also so empathetic and cared for me like a mother would a daughter. Management should teach my other nurses what a nurse should be like. Thank you so much Lori, I don’t know what I would’ve done without you. Truly.

4 /5 Selena Caro: I went in for an induction 2/28 I will say the doctors over seeing me completely failed me as a first time mom. I was completely terrified once a nurse came in and told me my contractions were too close and my uterus could burst after being told from my day nurse that was a good thing the meds they were giving me were working. Then when i requested a doctor Dr.Rodriguez DELCINED to come in.Then another doctor in the SAME hospital ON CALL declined. After laboring since friday I finally got moved to labor and delivery and met Dr.Skinner who was absolutely AMAZING and we did have to end up doing a c section due to my epidural failing and having to redo it and it effected me and baby heart rate which caused my baby to be sent to NICU for two days but, i will say the nurses there took care of my baby and me through the whole process SPECIAL SHOUT OUT TO OLVIA AND MORGAN!! They ARE AMAZING AND DESERVE A FREAKING RAISE!!! I will say it was very scary for the c section but, the nurses on L&D and everyone in the OR made me feel super comfortable. I cannot remember the nurse who rolled me up and stayed with me she was so sweet i wish i remembered her name!! I got up to Post postpartum met with my nurse Ruthie she is the absolute BEST! She made my recovery and stay so much better. I was sad to know i didn’t have her my last night i got nurse Connie much she was amazing as well. Overall if it was not for L&D and Post Patrum and the NICU nurses I think i would never want kids again from the trauma experience on the induction floor. THE DOCTOR ON CALL AND DOCTOR RODRIGUEZ SHOULD DO BETTER.

Kimberly: I should have known when they didnt call after receiving our referral from the doctor that the negative experience would continue. I called to schedule and apparently nobody has ever tried to get an appointment with Dr. Shumon Dhar who was under the age of 18. They were all confused and had me on hold for 45 minutes as they went back and forth to try and get an answer on whether he would actually see a teenager. The notes for the referral were not detailed so I had given them further information previously and they said they would pass this to the doctor and call me back so that I didnt have to sit on hold even longer. Well, its been over 2 weeks and Ive heard nothing. If you expect any sort of decent assistance or follow-up this apparently is not the place.

C: A culture of medical neglect permeates this place. During my stay I witnessed fellow patients repeatedly given food that they were allergic to or couldnt eat for various health reasons. The social workers were fantastic, but the group therapy sessions often crossed the line into toxic positivity. They also lock your room after breakfast while giving you almost nothing to do. Now heres the worst part. My nurse practitioner routinely confused me with other patients, and even prescribed medication based on indications that I dont have. Im honestly scared for patients who are admitted to this place, because the staff dont know what theyre doing. Its only a matter of time before someone gets the wrong pill.

They really took their time to get questions answered and an understanding of what I was going through. So that’s first and four. Most important that it wasn’t rushed or quick to diagnose or miss diagnose me. I am thankful that my experience was well and that I came out healthy, just like I went in.

The exam rooms have little to no privacy; you can hear other patients’ conversations. The environment was also noisy. We were told a doctor would see us, but ol nurse practitioner showed up. Overall, it felt like a waste of time. Would not recommend.

Maddie B: Just go elsewhere. This place only cares about money and does NOT have the ability to properly read insurance. I refuse to allow a company to owe me money. My insurance said I am responsible for 20% not whatever complete contracted rate they offer. Went to another urgent care and was seem plus properly charged after wasting my time driving here and waiting for the lady at the front desk to figure out how to work the computer. Go where they are knowledgeable, trained and know how to work their systems. Then for them to gossip about my situation in front of me which I found actually violated my rights to privacy. Notice all of their good reviews were months ago. As of lately these people are atrocious.

Danielle W.: I have absolutely LOVED the experience from start to finish here. I just recently delivered my final addition a few days ago and the labor and delivery staff are beyond amazing. I was treated with the highest respect, provided quick answers when had questions and they even went above and beyond to accommodate me and my family during our stay at the hospital. I was NEVER left without answers the nurses such as Felita, Judy, Jen, Brooke. Wait there’s more, Anne, Mary,& Olivia the weekend nurse. The beautiful Carol in charge of all the nurses were amazing I absolutely adored the Nicu nurse Tammi. I mean everyone was just nice and helpful. The food was very, very good I enjoyed my celebration meal and so did my hubby. Patti the pediatrician on call who cared so well for my little one was very funny and kept me smiling. This experience was different but I knew I was in great hands because everyone kept reassuring me everything was going to be just fine. I wrote them a note letting them know I hope to see them again in a different path such as a future Dr. I will never forget the staff here nor the experience please keep being a pillar to all future mom’s and moms of multiples we need staff like this! Jake Friemel: This place is one of the worst run ER/Urgent care facilities that my family has gone to. The only staff that was friendly was the nurses but the doctors were absolutely awful. We were getting transferred to another hospital and it took 3 hours for this process to be completed when the doctors stated at the very beginning that he would not be able to treat her. I went out and asked for the discharge papers and Dr. Patel decided to get smart with me and talk to me in a condescending tone. This is a doctor who has little patience and is willing to talk down to his patients. If I could give this LegacyER 0 stars I would.
