1 /5 bill alcorn: I was going to be a new patient, but I quickly changed my mind.
My appointment was for 840. I showed up at 830 thinking that, as a new patient, there would be paperwork to fill out. When I got there at 830 there was no one there. The first office person did not show up until 835.
I filled out all of my paperwork, and was the only patient. The Dr did not show up until after 9. At 930 I left. I was still waiting in the waiting room as the only patient.
The receptionist called me at 940 to let me know the Dr. could see me now. I told here I was tired of waiting and would go elsewhere. She told me that it normally takes 40+ minutes to process a new patient. If that is the case, they should have let me know before hand, or at least processed my information when I made the appointment.
I made the appointment a month before my visit. I called them a week before the scheduled appointment since I had not heard from them. During that entire time, someone could have called to let me know what was expected.
This practice may be labeled as a Diabetes Center, but is it lacking compared to others I have been to. No on-site lab, very small office area, only 3 exam rooms.
As a new patient/customer, I would think they would want my business
