4 /5 Devin Bendon: UPDATE: so I was contacted by the hospital and the we’re more than happy to talk to us and definitely help rectify the situation and issues we had with our stay.
Which I will say it is a nice quiet place and not a big hospital so you do feel like you’re prioritized more. But definitely one bad nurse can make the difference. So thank you.
(My wife had surgery in this hospital and it seemed great at first. The surgical team and nurses seemed ok. But the post opp care did not seem very knowledgeable or helpful. The two nurses on one shift seemed to have conflicting opinions of how to handle getting in and out of bed. There was an issue of not giving meds and calling it a clerical error. (Also note the 48 hrs we were at hospital they only verified DOB for meds one time which I thought would be pretty common practice to make sure you’re giving the right meds to the right Patient) They did provide food for the patient was really good food, apparently from what she had said So five stars to the chef. But when we decided to leave, there was a big mixup in the Discharge paperwork where we had half of another patients discharge paperwork that ain’t cool. Also they were supposed to change my wife’s surgical dressing within the 48 hours But they told her that her doctor would do it after she scheduled an appointment Due to the fact that the paperwork Was mixed up. So definitely a zero star For medication chain of custody, overall communication, and organization.)
