2 /5 Paulina K: I delivered my baby at this hospital on Sep 26th, the nurses and doctors were so supportive and helpful during the time I stayed except one nurse who was working at postpartum room in the afternoon of Sep 28th, which was the day l discharged from the hospital. I forgot her name but she is an Indian. Became a first time mom is already overwhelmed with baby crying sometimes, my baby did Circumcision that day, the time she brought him back from the surgery he was crying the whole way to the room, the first comment she made was” OMG, he cried a lot.” I mean, what are you expecting from a newborn baby?! Second, all the nurses and doctors would knock the door before they came in the room except her, she just let herself in like this is her room. Also, the time she took me out with the wheelchair was horrible. My husband said he would prefer if she could push me out when he parked the car at the door, and she agreed. Most people would push the wheelchair aside to prevent blocking the crowd while waiting. Well, she put me right in the middle of the door, and I sit in the wheelchair in the middle of the door holding my baby, watching people walk around me, not to mention how strong the air conditioner at the door was. I think that as a nurse, the first thing you need is empathy. If you dont like your job, you can choose another position, but please dont lower the hospital experience because of your work quality.
