Red Dragon Pirate Cruises - Port Aransas (TX)

5 /5 Julie Wollen: Thoroughly enjoyed our pirate cruise! We took 2 grandsons ages 6 and 4 and their parents. The pirates were fun and gentle. They made it fun for the kids and really tried to engage them as they put the boys through pirate training. The 6 year old ate it up! As a side benefit, the adults saw lots of dolphins on the way back into the harbor.

5 /5 Nick: This was a great family experience! Its far better than a boring dolphin tour. We saw plenty of Dolphins and enjoyed they show. The first mate and deck hand were fantastic, and they got the kids involved and put on a great show. Definitely a great experience and highly recommended.

5 /5 Steven Bolodar: Went on the 6:30 trip on 4 June 2025. The actors were amazing with ALL of the kiddos. My daughter was a little scared/nervous and the main character “poison” gave her a stuffed parrot to cheer her up. From then on she was excited and participated in all other activities. I highly recommend going on this adventure If you have kids ages 4-12 years old.

3 /5 Donna Belken: We went on this cruise on 6/11/25. The staff was pleasant and the ship was very clean however my 8 and 10 year old were very bored. The trip only lasted about 90 minutes which was not as advertised. There was no firing of the cannon which is also advertised. The events such as a water gun flight only lasted about 7-8 minutes then had alot of down time of doing nothing. There was a quick line up for the sword fight with one child against the staff. The treasure hunt only consisted of some gold coins. Hunting for fake jewels or jewelry would have been fun. Especially if they could have kept more than 1 piece. Still confused by the broom activity. Adding some dancing or the limbo would have been fun for the kids too as well as more pirate themed tattoos indtead of just drawing a "scar" that smeared pretty quickly. Compared to other pirate ship excursions my kids have been on, this one in Port Aransas could use some help to make it more exciting.

5 /5 Sj Whiteford: A fantastic experience aboard the Red Dragon. The crew were professional and clearly enjoying their roles. The beverages onboard were good, the kids entertainment absolutely a blast, and the scenery lovely. Gorgeous dolphin encounters, and a hilarious crew made for a very enjoyable afternoon. Highly recommend.
