5 /5 Sandefur Laine (Vivian): Fun stop, easy to get to and free to enter. Good photo ops but the cars are all close together so watch out for spray painting and stay upwind of it. Ive gone to the original bug ranch for decades so I had to see where the bugs had been moved to, definitely doesnt have the same ambiance but its still fun.

Amarillo Railroad Museum, Inc. - Amarillo

Dave B.: The museum was very interesting in the fact that its displays are equipment that you dont see at other museums. The people there are very pleasant and knowledgeable about the trains they have there. They also have a large model train club layout in the building that is still under construction but does run.

Jerry Grosenick: The museum was decent. The gentleman who took outside to look at the planes and helicopter was excellent. Glad he showed and explained everything to us.

Harrington House Historic Home - Amarillo

Suzanne Pike: Beautiful home, built in 1914, with exquisite furnishings. Great tour, but be forewarned that while this is a free tour, they only schedule tours on two weekday mornings per week, with only a few tours on each of those days, and a very small number of guests per tour, so you must book in advance. Huge 4 story home.....tours include 3 of the floors...house had amazing features for when it was built. The artwork, rugs, and furnishings were amazing. The volunteer docents are very knowledgeable about the home and its furnishings, and gave a wonderful tour. In my opinion, this museum is a cant miss when visiting Amarillo.

Wildcat Bluff Nature Center - Amarillo

Vincent Vittorio: Great running trail that I’ve been able to visit several times in the early spring. The colors of the flowers lining the trail along with the different terrain in different areas make for a really beautiful hike or run. Good parking area and well maintained make it a five star spot for sure!
