3 /5 Steve & Tresa Sparks: I have been to heart hospital in past for family. I was patient last week, January 16th. Everyone was very helpful and caring of my comfort. I had a right knee replacement. Surgery went great with Dr. D. Homen. Woke in recovery hearing nurse talk about my face bleeding because tape to hold tube down throat in surgery-- female nurse saying I had a mole on face that was pulled off, causing bleeding. I DIDNT have a mole. Plus my face was bruised on both sides of mouth. I am 70 years old. Nurses need to be aware of older-- things skin. 4 days later and still bruised and cut still healing.

Main concern was having to get a different CPM machine from the DME due to lack of instruction on how to use the one discharged with 4 Feet turned blue sitting on edge of bed, no assessment of situation 5 No phone call to receiving facility with orders for continuity of care 6 Oxygen, wound drain and urinary catheter tubing tangled together in lap due to incorrect positioning during discharge 7 HIPAA violation RX cream with label left in room after discharge 8 RX cream had not been applied to correct site of body 9 Care Navigator has not returned phone call when left a message 3/3/25 Contacted by the Risk Manager and provided an opportunity to discuss concerns. Since I had 5 previous positive experiences I am now willing to return and speak up about any concerns for prompt resolution.

1 /5 Miranda Palmer: Worst experience ever. Had my 6th back surgery and couldn’t even get anyone to help me with meds or anything. I would push to call nurse and wait hours and hours for help. Had 2 major allergic reaction while in a room by myself!!!

1 /5 The Home Place -Tahoka: IT IS HORRIBLE! They would not let me see my own grandpa! Pathetic service. One star. The would not even let me in because the front desk would not let children under 12 YO see the patients.

Lyndie Fallen: My daughter went in for a flu and strep test. Both came back negative so they sent her home. The next day she felt worse so she went back to ask if they could give her an antibiotic or something g to make her feel better. They tested her again, even though they had just tested 24 hours earlier, again came back negative. The doctor then gave her a steroid shot without explaining the astronomical cost associated with it. I just got the bill. After insurance paid them $3026.20 for the 4 strep and flu tests which should have only been 2, and a steroid shot they want me to pay an additional $622.80. If this is not the most predatory practice to do to a 19 year old freshman in college I don’t know what is. This system is criminal. WHY do we put up with this???? It has to stop. Insurance companies and the predatory medical establishments that get paid for bogus and unnecessary medical procedures and tests should be punished not the people who already pay outrageous premiums and high deductibles.

Cindy Kokel: Im rating the ER department here. Went in 99.9% sure I had appendicitis. Doc never did a physical exam to determine if I had classic rebound pain on my right side, which I did. She kept asking about kidney stones. Told her that pain from appendicitis can also radiate to the back. They sent me to CT after sticking me 7 times. IV site immediately infiltrated after CT contrast. Got back to room in ER they took that IV out. My son and I had both repeatedly told the nurses in the ER that they were going to have to use their ultrasound guided IV placement machine and they continued to disregard what we were telling them. They finally bring in the machine and was able to get an 18G IV access into my left upper arm. Also right after getting back from CT the ER doc just pokes her head in and says, "Its your appendix and the OR staff are on their way now to get you..." SHOCKER I had been telling them that from the moment I got there. Had the ER doc actually performed a physical exam she might have discovered that the patient knows their body. I get they have to rule things out but come on, no physical exam! My CT scan showed that there was an extreme amount of infection surrounding my appendix thats why they were rushing me to the OR. Also I did finally get adequate pain control after they saw the CT scan. 7 IV attempts is very excessive. They tell you to speak up and we did right from the start and were ignored by the nurses assigned to me. I was a nurse for over 27 yrs and if I didnt get the IV in after 2 attempts I got another nurse to try. Also if my patient had told me that they have to use an ultrasound guided IV machine I would have believed them the first time. Its also information that can be found in a patients record on file. Had they looked they would have seen that they have had to use this machine in the past. My left arm looks like I have been beat with a bat not to mention opened up areas for possible infection. Nurses and docs too, please listen when a patient actually speaks up. They and their family are trying to tell you something important.

addison hearn: I want to start this off by saying dr Erikstad is one of the best obgyns I’ve ever seen. However the office staff especially her MA are some of the worst I’ve ever dealt with. I had an ovary removed at a different hospital and instead of putting that in my chart she put that I had an appendectomy. I still have my appendix so don’t know how that got confused by the MA. I was referred to the high risk doctor for an ultrasound at 22 weeks which is Normal but all I can say is that clinic is extremely ghetto. I’ve had four pregnancies and I’ve never once been given ultrasound pictures on printer paper instead of ultrasound paper. Also the pictures weren’t even of my baby they were of pretty much everything else like the placenta and a foot. I don’t understand how a place that specializes in ultrasounds can be that pathetically bad at their one job. The lab messed up my labs and didn’t draw half of them so dr erikstad had to reorder them and I had to go get poked again where the lab tech didn’t listen when I told her all but one of my veins deflate. When she busted one of my veins she caught a massive attitude and got mad that I was right. I’m extremely concerned for having my baby at this hospital when this is the treatment they are already giving. I’m praying it gets better. I just really don’t want to have to switch from my OB. She’s absolutely amazing.im adding pictures of the crappy ultrasound images that I was given on printer paper. As you can see its not even of the baby or anything really.
