1 /5 Carrie Archer: Keep getting phone calls that I owe for a no show appointment. Problem is, I haven’t lived in amarillo for 11 years and did not make an appointment to see a dr there. Never even visited this clinic when we lived in Amarillo!

1 /5 Wesley Luginbyhl: Family member went in for a only a "wellness", but everything was pushed as an upsell to increase the cost of the visit. Family member was not listened to and tons of extra labs were ordered without clear explanation, costing way more than previous years. They will not review labs unless you come in for a second visit (another money grab). Had been going here for years and had liked it, but we are done. Keep your guard up.

He is so dedicated, hard-working, knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, and genuinely caring about his patients!! 3 /5 Jill Ten: So frustrated! We had an appointment today, June 30th at 1:30. My mom needs help getting to her appointments. I have to leave work to take her. When we arrived, they claimed our appointment was yesterday. No way! I always put the appointments in my phone when they schedule and my mom keeps the card. They said they couldn’t work us in because Dr. Nickens was too busy and would have to reschedule us for next week. She really likes Dr. Nickens but this is unbelievably frustrating-a waste of time and gas and will have to miss another day of work. Here is a picture of the appointment card. Today was her appointment and we were sent away.

William Eddington: On Monday 9/11/2023 at 14:30 I had a very poor experience that lasted till 17:45. I’ve been having an ongoing problem with my feet with chronic pain and swelling. I’ve been working as a home caregiver for several weeks. My father is in home hospice and I’ve been unemployed for months due to my illness or injury. It took forever to get an appointment for many, many weeks. I also had come down with the Flu over the weekend from other family members and no one even took a chest x-Ray, nor did they listen to my chest, or prescribe me anything for the Flu. They never even examined my feet by having me remove my shoes or socks either. Beware to not ever fill anything out about anxiety or depression, because they will try to open Pandora’s box and make this appointment completely about mental health. It really never felt like they did a real examination. They did weigh me, and take my blood pressure, and temperature and that was pretty much the extent of the examination. What a horrible experience.

They denied me to be a patient when they received my previous records from my doctor in Oklahoma City on that I do not go to the doctor enough to warrant them seeing me as a patient. You would think that is a good thing.

Miki S: Somewhat of an honest review and a warning. If you are seeking inpatient mental health care and you are not in immediate danger, travel somewhere else to get the help you need. They do a good job at one thing: keeping you from harming yourself and that is basically it. Its like pulling teeth to even try to get a therapist or someone to help with other issues. It is merely just a place to isolate you and keep you from harming yourself. So once again, if you are not an immediate danger to yourself or others, let someone you trust take you somewhere else for better help.

S K: Dr. Bradford is great. unfortunately his office help dont care and will demand better from you than they do themselves. they will do they best to inconvenience you and make it even hard to see him they will schedule you to see him when he is not available then make you wait months to see him and the office manager will refuse to call you back to correct the wrong they did to you and make it more inconvenient to you and try to make you pay for it i ask multiple times if I would be seen after a holiday and was told yes now Im being told I cant see him til 3 months after and Ill have to pay all cost even tho I have insurance Bradford is great the help is very wrong and they dont care about the patient I know nothing will be done if I didnt call they would of let me show up wait on them all day Im writing this in hopes Dr Bradford will make changes since he cares and his help does not Edit with in a few minutes of posting this the office manager called me with an attitude and didnt want to help.she just want to argue and not listen to what they did. Like Bradford wish he would get better help anyone one else would be fired from they job for treating people this way

N C: They were just great. I got a little lost as a new patient when the systems went down which was a bit upsetting but they rectified so well, I have to give a 5 star. My concerns were heard and my fears brought way down by the Dr. And attending student. And want to mention how pleasant their staff is!! Medical things can be scary and uncomfortable so having the face of the department, (administration) being just top notch really makes a difference.

Nick Noel: Seen him years ago when I was younger and he is a fantastic dr. Today I had to take my 85yo grandmother in, and they refused to see her, despite dr Jaber telling us anytime she is sick she needs to come in asap. The office staff said we could do a phone appointment, and we accepted. Then realized they never even asked for her name or number. I took her to an urgent care, got right in and diagnosed with pneumonia. The problem is not Jaber its his staff

Plum Creek Specialty Hospital - Amarillo

Jake: My loved one is currently (at the time of typing this) serving time temporarily at Plum Creek Specialty Hospital for physical rehabilitation. Here is a list of things that I have noticed that are ATROCIOUS. FOOD: The food there is horrible. Many times I have seen the nurses or just random people delivering the meals that the Plum Creek chefs have put together. My loved one has asked many times what the dish that theyre giving her is, and they usually say "I dont know". STAFF: Buckle up, this is a long one. - I do believe that, by law, it is required for a physician of some sort to put together a plan (no matter how complicated or basic) to show the physical rehab. assistants what they need to do. (ex. This patient needs to do at least 20 minutes of physical rehabilitation a day, blah blah blah.) My loved one is doing random amounts of rehab a day, even though the doctor at BSA specified that she needed to do at LEAST one hour a day to regain her strength. This is one of many things. - The RNs are usually very caring, and fun. But most of the other staff... not so much. At the front desk, the only time I have ever seen staff there is if they are waiting for pizza to be delivered. - Another bad thing is... at the time of me typing this my loved one has been in the Plum Creek Specialty Hospital for 6 days, and has not ONCE seen a doctor of any kind, only RNs. - Once again, another staff problem. I have heard the nurses talking to (who I can assume to be a physician or director) someone on speaker who is being asked to come up to Plum Creek, and is saying "Im not coming up there." - The cleaning staff are bad too. I see them sitting in the chairs on their phones a LOT, but, as theyre running through the halls, the should be able to see the candy wrappers and sometimes potato chip bags that theyre speeding past to look at a video on another persons phone when theyre supposed to be... cleaning. I may have left a few things out... but you get it. TLDR: Do NOT send your loved ones here, unless you have absolutely no option at all. There are many better place to go.
