From the moment we entered the facility we were greeted by the gentleman at the front desk and quickly received assistance from the man from New York. He was nice and patient. He really made my husband and I feel like we mattered. He helped set the pace for what ended up being a good experience despite being there for a thyroid biopsy. EVERYONE was kind, caring and considerate. Our nurse, Ms. Mary was pure joy! She was thorough, friendly and a pleasure to be around. Then came Dr. Anderson. He was the icing on the cake. A kind, caring doctor that took his time to explain the biopsy procedure and instructions for at home care. The whole experience was refreshing. I think everyone seeking medical attention should go there! Amazing staff and a great facility!
White Rock Medical Center - Dallas Rockwall Farmers Co-Op: I dont even want to give this place 1 star. This was the worst hospital stay i have ever had. Nurses on a surgical floor should check on their patients. My iv was leaking onto my arm. They told me it was fine. I didnt get any of the pain meds or saline i was supposed to have. I was on no food or drink for 24 hours. I needed those iv medications. They should know what to do if a patient has a reaction. Instead, they turned off the lights and shut all doors at 9pm and sat at the desk. I had a reaction in the middle of the night and needed immediate attention. The charge and floor nurses just stood there and looked at me. I needed help. They did not give it. They dis not take care of me. I begged my surgeon to send me home. Please do not take your worst enemy there.
Dallas County Hospital District - Dallas Mary Atleson: I arrived at Emergency Dept. with a broken leg (Tibial Plateau Fracture) around 1:30 pm June 28. It was one of the busiest days in their waiting room. They did my X-rays and CT Scan while I waited for an exam room. There was no exam room available until around 8:30 or 9 pm but that is not their fault. If you come to Emergency Department here, expect a long wait. Again, that is NOT the fault of the staff. The staff here is very professional, attentive, compassionate, and caring. Excellent medical care and God Forbid I need medical care going forward I will go to Parkland immediately!
Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Irving Emergency Room - Irving Christine Jones: Once I was in a ER room, not where vital signs are done, the RN, Dr., tech, rad techs were all very polite, helpful & caring. As I told the ER Dr, she made what was a pretty miserable experience for me as pleasant as it could be. Several yrs ago I had a horrible experience in this same ER, but different Dr. They were rude, didnt even act like they cared, made assumptions before ever laying eyes on me or reading any history except for what my primary complaint/reason for visit.
Improvements are way noticeable.
However the front checkin nurse leaves a lot to be desired. She was rude, disrespectful & didnt care that my chest thru to my back & to my left shoulder was hurting at an 8 of 10.
Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Irving - Irving Millie L: 2024 was a year for me. I was in and out of the hospital for a number of things. I handled all my imaging, labs, doctors appointments, and surgeries here. I stayed from 3 to 5 days at most during each occassion, and the experience with the nurses and doctors was great. The staff were attentive and cared in regards to recovery and finding the appropriate treatment for me. Ive seen the old rooms, and I got to experience the upgrades. Overall, it was a great experience, despite it being in a hospital...it made me feel somewhat at ease although I couldnt be home.
Irving Health And Medical Center - Irving Damien V: Doc is great and actually wants to help but the people up front are rude and malicious. She talked down to everyone in the waiting room, yelled at a confused older gentleman and rolled her eyes at me when I had billing questions. PS lady, I DONT WORK IN HEALTHCARE, if someone is confused about one of its many facets it is one hundred percent your job to explain it.
UT Southwestern Medical Center Las Colinas - Irving Tiffany Waldren: Clean facility, kind staff, very brief wait time, scheduling was a breeze, I was in and out of labwork and had imaging scheduled in less than two minutes. Customer service phone operators outside of the clinic are also great. Dr. Okarwa is extremely well versed, compassionate, and respectful.
Medical City Las Colinas - Irving Christina Pearce: It’s hard to put into words, but I will try.
Simply amazing! Out of all of my surgeries this experience has been the best. Every person I encountered was truly remarkable. The care and consideration for me was TOP NOTCH! This is a great hospital!
MD Family Clinic - irving - Irving Mireya: They were able to get me in within a week while everywhere else had a minimum 3-6 month waiting period. Its not the cleanest or newest clinic but Dr Kamthong is great. She listens to my concerns and addresses them with a smile. You can expect to be here 1-2 hours from the time you walk in to the time you leave but they have a pharmacy onsite for medications which is helpful.
