2 /5 Tyler Perez: Probably the worst ER I’ve ever been in and I been to many in several states. Been in the waiting room for more than 6 hours for an actual emergency. No television or any entertainment to keep you occupied during the visit. There are not enough rooms for the number of patients they receive, so either build a new hospital or shut this bullshit down , the staff are okay but yall gotta have a greater sense of urgency when treating people time is money.

1 /5 Rhonda Blount: My experience with this hospital was horrible— A month ago was great in cancer part BUT this time through the ER was horrible. Let me say though the ER was great they tried to get to bottom what my problem was BUT when went to Hope tower it was horrible. I was admitted under observation. I guess because I had insurance they kept me there 3 1/2 days. But they hardly did anything at all. Because I was dizzy my bed was on for falling. I called and called no one came - I couldn’t wait anymore so I got up. No one called on intercom to see how I was. I went to bathroom and still for many many minutes no one called or came. A relative came into room to see me and asked what the noise was and they finally turned off my bed but still never asked me anything. Once during my visit a bed nearby (my door was closed) went off for 26 minutes. I begged to go home because nothing was getting done. But I guess because I had insurance they just kept me there. I left that hospital with exactly what I entered with. Still dizzy. Do not go there except cancer part or ER.

UPDATE 2-27-2025 ER is trash they actually took a man to a room before everyone including myself that had been waiting for hours,just because he knew the ER staff. No he was not the sickest to go before us all. Once admitted to the hospital though,it was so nice. Staff was outstanding and I was so comfortable I didnt want to leave. ER makes the whole hospital look bad but its not.

Both individuals were so knowledgeable and professional and I’m just extremely grateful to both of them. Cindy Kokel: Im rating the ER department here. Went in 99.9% sure I had appendicitis. Doc never did a physical exam to determine if I had classic rebound pain on my right side, which I did. She kept asking about kidney stones. Told her that pain from appendicitis can also radiate to the back. They sent me to CT after sticking me 7 times. IV site immediately infiltrated after CT contrast. Got back to room in ER they took that IV out. My son and I had both repeatedly told the nurses in the ER that they were going to have to use their ultrasound guided IV placement machine and they continued to disregard what we were telling them. They finally bring in the machine and was able to get an 18G IV access into my left upper arm. Also right after getting back from CT the ER doc just pokes her head in and says, "Its your appendix and the OR staff are on their way now to get you..." SHOCKER I had been telling them that from the moment I got there. Had the ER doc actually performed a physical exam she might have discovered that the patient knows their body. I get they have to rule things out but come on, no physical exam! My CT scan showed that there was an extreme amount of infection surrounding my appendix thats why they were rushing me to the OR. Also I did finally get adequate pain control after they saw the CT scan. 7 IV attempts is very excessive. They tell you to speak up and we did right from the start and were ignored by the nurses assigned to me. I was a nurse for over 27 yrs and if I didnt get the IV in after 2 attempts I got another nurse to try. Also if my patient had told me that they have to use an ultrasound guided IV machine I would have believed them the first time. Its also information that can be found in a patients record on file. Had they looked they would have seen that they have had to use this machine in the past. My left arm looks like I have been beat with a bat not to mention opened up areas for possible infection. Nurses and docs too, please listen when a patient actually speaks up. They and their family are trying to tell you something important.

addison hearn: I want to start this off by saying dr Erikstad is one of the best obgyns I’ve ever seen. However the office staff especially her MA are some of the worst I’ve ever dealt with. I had an ovary removed at a different hospital and instead of putting that in my chart she put that I had an appendectomy. I still have my appendix so don’t know how that got confused by the MA. I was referred to the high risk doctor for an ultrasound at 22 weeks which is Normal but all I can say is that clinic is extremely ghetto. I’ve had four pregnancies and I’ve never once been given ultrasound pictures on printer paper instead of ultrasound paper. Also the pictures weren’t even of my baby they were of pretty much everything else like the placenta and a foot. I don’t understand how a place that specializes in ultrasounds can be that pathetically bad at their one job. The lab messed up my labs and didn’t draw half of them so dr erikstad had to reorder them and I had to go get poked again where the lab tech didn’t listen when I told her all but one of my veins deflate. When she busted one of my veins she caught a massive attitude and got mad that I was right. I’m extremely concerned for having my baby at this hospital when this is the treatment they are already giving. I’m praying it gets better. I just really don’t want to have to switch from my OB. She’s absolutely amazing.im adding pictures of the crappy ultrasound images that I was given on printer paper. As you can see its not even of the baby or anything really.
