James Sommerville I recently brought my truck to Martin’s NAPA Auto Care for an electrical issue, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the service. They quickly diagnosed the problem and made a temporary fix that kept me from being stranded until I could get it into the dealership a few days later. The staff was extremely friendly and even offered me a ride to and from work if I needed it after dropping off my vehicle—something you don’t find everywhere. They also sent me a detailed email with helpful information about a few other areas on my truck. What really stood out was their honesty. Instead of overwhelming me with a long list of “maybe” issues like some places do, they simply pointed out the few major things that might need attention and reassured me about what was still in good shape. I walked away feeling confident that I got a quality job at a fair price, without any pressure or upselling. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a trustworthy, down-to-earth shop in the Lampasas area.

The alignment was performed quickly and thoroughly, staff explained to me what they needed to adjust and had a printout showing me that. Also made it easy to pick up and pay. Frederick Bourgeois Currently going through a lawsuit with this company. I have spent over $4500.00 and my F350 King Ranch Diesel truck is still inoperable which is still located at their shop. This company had my truck over 7 months and I had to bring it back twice for repairs. I tried to get my truck from their shop, but Paul Branham charged me for another diagnose which should have been done correct the first time. I had driven my truck maybe 2 weeks out of the 7 months this shop has had my truck. I am a combat veteran and never experienced anything like this with an auto repair shop. Thank God me and my son did not have an accident on that busy Ft. Hood street when the truck shutdown.

Megan Esparza This was my first insurance claim in about 13 years. The process has changed so much but Gerber was quick to get my car in, I was given a 3 week timeline for the rental that they scheduled with Enterprise for me. I was notified it was ready after only 1.5 weeks. Obviously I was worried about it being so quick so I inspected myself and then Jason walked around the vehicle with me pointing out all the work that was done and explaining it all at a pace I could understand. My car looks brand new! Thank you so much! Highly recommend for all body/hail damage!

Stephanie Torres Ive never gotten into an accident where I had to use my insurance to fix our vehicle so I didnt know what to expect, but I was very pleasantly surprised at how simple they made things. Not only did they repair our truck where it looked like nothing ever happened to it! But they cleaned the inside and outside of it as well! I was so happy with how fast everything was done as well! Allen Nace We were passing through Lampasas on our way to Waco for a weekend get away. It was 6pm on a Friday. The alternator decided to go out. Lampasas is a pretty town, but it turns out automotive shops don’t enjoy the night life. Called as many places as I could. Left messages at the ones that had an answering machine. We were far from home and running out of daylight (and battery). Then one shop returned my call - Johnnie McGehee of McGehee Automotive. If I could bring the parts he would fix our car. Oh yeah, did I mention it was me, my wife & our 4 boys. Luckily was able to get the part and made our way to the shop. The battery was dying and as we pulled in the system was failing. Johnnie was just as friendly and gracious as could be. He didn’t waste any time and within a couple hours and some good conversation he had us back on the road. Great work. Very fair price. A real Godsend. I recommend McGehee Automotive to anyone and everyone in need of repair in the area. You won’t regret it. Thank you Johnnie for saving the day and saving our trip!!

Brian McNeal PROS: Knew what my situation was and ordered my tires. Tires arrived the next day and were mounted and installed - something other tire dealers had refused to do. CONS: 1) A little bit of cleaning would go a long way. The lobby shouldnt look like the shop. When customers can spend up to two hours waiting for their vehicle, something more in the way of reading material should be provided besides a few automotive sales brochures. I wouldnt even mind reading 2 or 3 year old magazines at that point. 2) Communication between the front and the shop needs to be improved. Worker did not get the message about how to handle the exchange of 4 new tires for 5 tires on the vehicle.

Dan Dishman Outstanding service and friendly staff. They were professional and careful installing my new tires. They made sure each wheel nut was properly torqued as well as the spacer nuts between my duals.

daryl hurst In April of 2020 a deer ran into the front of my truck and destroyed the front end. Damage to truck was over $10K. Hillcountry Collision worked with my insurance company and myself to repair the entire front end, installed new dashboard, replaced air bags, and installed a new deer guard bumper. They did a great job and I highly recommend their business for any and all automotive repairs.

Just kidding I have a bad tire, but I have taken both our vehicles to Rich for oil changes and check ups, he does a very good job at an affordable price. I will always trust my basic automotive work to Basic Automotive.

M Working with Ramp Automotive in Lampasas Texas was a horrible experience. I was told that my fuel pump/fuel filter needed to be changed. My fuel pump/filter was not changed. Ramp Automotive has deceptive practices. I was hung up on 15 plus times. No return phone call. I would not recommend this business to anyone looking for repairs for their vehicle.

Dallas Signs The owners and staff will go out of their way to get you fixed up. Tires are their specialty but the are very knowledgeable mechanics as well. Chris is very helpful and knows his stuff…don’t hesitate to go here for tire repair, replacement, oil changes or mechanical work.

Mia Sarot I have been here twice, gotten an inspection one time and a inspection, tire rotation, and tire repair the other time, and they are so WILDLY fast. I almost thought there was no way they could fix a flat and rotate tires as quickly as they did, but my husband checked and they sure did! This is the only place I will ever go, especially if I have my kids with me (which is always), because we never have to wait hardly at all, and the prices are super reasonable. I really like these guys, and the shop kitty is so sweet! Highly recommend!
