Queen Grammy I got an AC compressor done 7 years ago on my 09 Nissan Altima. He charged me $2500. I passed the car down to my son who had to get the compressor replaced again at a different shop. The quote for the same compressor? $574. He also worked on a Nissan Versa that had a transmission fluid leak. He first said the torque converter seal was leaking and quoted me around $1000 to fix it. It was still leaking after that, and then he told me it needs the torque converter itself replaced, quoting around another $1500. After getting this done, the assistant informed me he “wouldn’t be surprised if it started leaking again” because they had problems putting it on. After all this, the transmission was still leaking, and taking it back in I was told it would need a whole new transmission. Obviously I decided to not have that done, and ran from the shop as quick as I could, and had to end up getting a new vehicle after burning all my money.

Dillon Day They ripped my father off out of 200 dollars to fix his exhaust and made it worse instead of making it right after getting a second opinion. This shop refuses to own up to any bad work. Bad business.

He was working alone (with no other staff) and managed to take care of my oil change without a complaint. I appreciate having a service center to go to, where I don’t have to worry about how I will be treated and I know my vehicle is taken care of.

Destinee Gonzales Another vehicle hit my truck and the Insurance recommended me to Larry’s paint & Body Shop I live 45 minutes away and had to drive back-and-forth three times in a month because every time I would go, the color never match The original paint color of my truck we can literally seen the dark primer under the paint and they acted like the didn’t see anything until the last time I went they admitted they seen the primer under the paint yes, they did fix it but like I said, it took a whole month and three 45 there and 45 minutes back drives to finally get it, right The damage was no more than 2 foot long a foot high on the door. It would’ve been a whole lot easier and cheaper if we would’ve just got a whole new door. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Andre LaFleche I called certified auto repair as they were recommended by our warranty company. When I called the person who answered, whom I assume is Bob, was rude right from the beginning. The next day we got an email from our warranty company, not Bob who should have been the one to call us, to tell us that Certified auto repair could not do the repair. Thats fine so my wife and I go pick up her SUV and when we enter the dirty office area, Bob is putting down other customers with two of his buddys. He just threw the keys, receipt, and diagnostic report at us across the counter and that was it. This shop is pathetic, rude, unequiped and I will never bring our vehicles back to this shop. With that being said, I have worked in auto repair shops and I understand not everyone understands how cars work and the extent of how much goes into various repairs of their vehicle, but I never joked about a customers knowledge of vehicles in front of other customers.

He jumped started my car when I was stranded in town and didnt want any payment. He just came. Not too many people like that. He will be sorely missed.

After getting towed to their shop they were quick go diagnose and repair my car. I dont know what we wouldve done without their quick service and transparent pricing. Mercedes is expensive, I knew this wouldnt be a cheap fix. They assured me everything would be okay and that they would have me back on the road ASAP. I should have called him first after dealing with the dealership. Scott could have just ignored the remarks, but he offered to meet me if needed @ no charge to see what the problem is.

I was blowing thru Transmissions like Condoms until a friend of mine sold me his Dads rebuilt McNeal transmission for $400.00. Fast forward to 2024 and my girlfriend and I are Wintering in Rockport,TX and her transmission goes out and Guess who lives in Rockport TX Now. Jeff MFing McNeal Jr. The son of the Famous Jeff McNeal. I am going to have the privilege of putting a Rebuilt McNeal in our 1996 GMC Sierra SLE 4x4 Tow vehicle. My girl is freaking out and I am like "How much does he want? You dont understand who Jeff McNeal is Jersey Girl." I got this! Whoa hoo! I cant wait to get her truck back and feel the NEW Rebuilt from The Legend. Do your Thang! UPDATE! Got the Truck back in time to drive back to Lipscomb TX. Transmission worked without a hitch! Him and his wife are as good as they come. It’s a great place to get your car serviced. Bottom line…. Very knowledgeable and good folks.

Matt L I had an issue where 8 of my outlets were not working. I called and told them my situation, the guy on the phone was telling me it’s basically like chasing a ghost finding the problem. Yep I’m aware of that, that’s why I called you guys. He said he had a guy already going to be in my area doing work so he would only charge me half the normal mileage rate. The tech tim comes while I’m at work and my girlfriend is at home. He starts complaining who’s much he hates these kinds of jobs cause they are so hard to diagnose. So after an hour he says he fixed the problem and leaves. Charges me 230$. They still charged me the normal mileage rate. I get home 3 outlets still don’t work and he never even put the outlet completely back together. (Claimed he didn’t have all the screws, but everything was right there.) when I got home I pulled the outlet out and discovered he left a wire completely disconnected which was why the other 3 outlets did not work

Jeanette Westfall James and his team (Ty and Ryan) were exceptional in their professional response to repairing my Mom’s Imagine Camper fixing both the heater and the refrigerator within three days from my initial inquiry. Julie Matthews I would like to commend this business for getting me in and out and back on the road less than 24 hours. My truck had a abs sensor out and they repaired within hours upon coming in. Then randomly my starter went out same day after I picked my truck up and the starter it was old. They worked very hard to repaired it. They worked past closing time for me too and came in early the next day to get me back in my truck so I could make my long commute to work in Victoria, Texas. Thank you Teddy and Alex. I will come back again if I need a another repair.

Conservation Specialists My truck started leaking oil about the size of a quarter when I arrived in Rockport, so didnt think much of it. Woke up a few days later to 2 oil spots about the size of a coke can and my skid plate covered in oil. I called several repair shops and most couldnt look at it for 3-4 days and Friday was the 4th of July. Called and spoke to Teddy around noon on Monday. He said to bring my truck by after 1:30pm and hed try to look at it that afternoon. After dropping it off, he called around 4:30pm to say the oil cooler hoses were leaking and needed to be replaced. He had the parts replaced along with the serpentine belt and ready to pick up by Wednesday morning around 10am. Everyone was friendly and the service was quick. I recommend Rockport Auto Repair and will use them for my vehicles in the future.

Anita Teddy and Alex are good hearted guys who are also extremely skilled at fixing cars. Location conveniently near the highway. They sometimes get booked up pretty busy, so good to call as soon as you can to make an appointment.

Craig was willing to help with all car related issues I had. Totally trustworthy operation and reasonably priced. It is comforting to know there are still people like this in the world!

Brought my RV to Craig to check my tires and perform an oil change on my generator. Same great service. Definitely recommend Craig for tires as well as other services.

J R Do not stand behind their work and dont take responsibility for damage they cause. When I first looked at the repair they had made it looked good but later on the same day the sunlight was directly hitting the repaired area and you could tell the paint did not match. The paint was a factory color so it should have been easy to match the existing paint unless you haven someone inexperienced painting the car. They didnt use the correct pressure which is critical to matching metallic or pearl paint and that is either sloppy work or someone doesnt know how to paint correctly. Then they damaged my driver side mirror they had to remove to repair the work. They said nothing about it when they did their qc inspection but as soon as I left the shop I noticed the mirror noticeably shaking so I went right right back to the shop and informed them of the issue. They took a look at it, agreed that it shouldnt shake like that then proceeded to tell me it was like that already they had no clue how that happened. A reputable shop would have taken responsibility but they just decided it was a better decision to blame the customer and absolve themselves of any responsibility. The body shop used to be Barreras Body Shop when it was run by the man who opened the shop originally now run by the grandson and the shops integrity went out the window when the new management stepped in. Its a shame because my family has known their family for over 50 years and when Martin was running the shop they would have stood behind their work. Not anymore. Horrible work and in a small town word gets around and I wont be recommending anyone to take their vehicle there. Terrible work terrible customer service
