Marc Müller I would not advise going to this place. I booked an appointment for an oil change at 9AM and was told it would take "a couple hours". Clarified and was told it would take 1-2 hours. After an hour and a half, there were still two cars in front of mine and it did end up taking the full two hours. After asking about the specific oil that was used I was assured it was the correct type for my car but they could not confirm exact specifications because they order it in bulk. Ended up figuring out it is not the correct oil that my car takes.

Roderick Pullum Great service....I definitely had a stellar Grade A experience when I stopped by this week to get my oil changed. The entire staff was courteous, professional and efficient. I would have stated these words based off my interaction alone but as an added bonus they also provided me with an Uber to take me back to work when I dropped my car off. Ill definitely be a regular for my routine maintenance and service needs.

Prices are reasonable, the quality of service is excellent. I know my car is being serviced by skilled professionals who do quality work. jaiaurax Y’ALL!!!!! I could not have asked for a better experience than I had at Preston Road & Tire. I originally went in just to get a quote, because another mechanic had done a diagnostic and quoted me THROUGH THE ROOF. Preston Road & Tire told me they’d prefer to do their own diagnostic, and to be honest……I was a little hesitant since I’d already paid for one at the other place. But they were SO kind, patient, and genuinely willing to help me out, I decided to go for it. Thank goodness I did. Turns out the other shop had completely misquoted me and was absolutely trying to run me. NARDIN AND STEVEN ARE THE BEST. They fixed my AC and SURPRISE!!!! The pricing was super reasonable & within budget for me! As a woman, walking into mechanic shops can feel intimidating. Sometimes it feels like you’re just waiting to get bulldozed, but NOT here. I felt seen, respected, and actually helped. I’m beyond thankful for the honesty, kindness, and amazing service I got here. I WILL 100% be coming back.

Paul Willi I’ve previously had insurance-related damage repaired by Caliber Collision on both my truck and my car. In both cases, the repairs were flawless — the vehicles looked like nothing had ever happened. Because of that great experience, I recently brought my truck back in after noticing some scratches in the paint finish, caused by a rubber water hose while I was cleaning out the truck bed. I spoke with Leslie, who took the time to inspect the scratches closely. She mentioned that it was the factory paint, which can sometimes be quite tender, and asked Damion to take a look as well. Damion offered to take the truck around back to the shop to see what he could do. About 15 minutes later, he returned with my truck — and it looked great again!

Lauren Farragut Garrett was fabulous! He was friendly, personable and explained everything clearly. Kwik Kar took care of my inspection quickly and I will only use them from now on. It was the best customer service I have received in a long time.

Eric DAntonio On Saturday, May 10, 2025, I brought my Silverado to Sun Auto in Frisco because the A/C was blowing hot air. They replaced a few components and recharged the system. After spending approximately $560, the A/C was blowing cold again—at least for a while. Unfortunately, just two weeks later, the A/C began blowing hot air again during my 16-mile commute home from work. I returned to Sun Auto, only to be told that diagnosing the issue would cost another $140. This struck me as unreasonable—didn’t they just repair this system 14 days ago? One might expect a courtesy diagnostic in light of a recent service that clearly didn’t solve the problem. When I was informed of the new charge, I simply said, “You guys have a good day,” and left. I was surprised that no one offered an apology, asked a follow-up question, or suggested speaking with a manager. It felt like they were already focused on the next customer. As a senior, I want to share this experience with others—especially fellow boomers—who are looking for reliable, customer-focused auto care. There are plenty of shops out there that would appreciate your business. Choose wisely.

Jennifer LeRow I would absolutely recommend Caliber Collision West Frisco! After meeting Ray and going over the process of restoring my car after an accident, I felt very comfortable leaving my car in his hands. The repairs were completed beautifully and turned around earlier than expected. Apparently, the battery was drained during the repairs (it was pretty old tbh), and they brought a new one to my house and changed it out for me on the spot! A part to complete my interior door trim was delayed by the supplier, and Ray went above and beyond to make sure I was made whole as quickly as possible. They even detailed my pretty car afterward. I highly recommend this location! All the staff were super kind and efficient as well!

Evan MacManus Ray took care of my wife’s Mazda after a bicyclist rode into the passenger side and caused quite a bit of damage. He was extremely communicative and got us our vehicle back well before the original estimated day of completion. The car looks even better than when we purchased it and drove it off the lot. Ray will be getting our future business should we find ourselves in need of his services. 10/10.

I was referred to this place and was told they perform a thorough, multi-angle inspection, similar to what youd expect at a certified dealership, but without the inflated prices. Im glad I followed that recommendation. The Uber shuttle service they provided was incredibly helpful and efficient, making the whole experience much more convenient. I truly felt my car was in good hands, they stayed in touch regularly, kept me updated every step of the way, and even followed up a few days after I got my car back to make sure everything was still running smoothly. Taw D I really had an amazing experience. They really lived up to their pledge to treat you as they would like to be treated, like true Christians❤️. I’m very visibly Muslim and they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable in every step of the experience. It was a very hot day and I had 4 young kids with me. They invited us in, gave us all cold water, and told us to make ourselves comfortable. They were so quick and I was just a walk in, not an appointment. I told them I just needed a signal light changed and am traveling from out of state. They were so kind and then when I asked how much I owe, they said nothing!! They refused to charge me even after I insisted. I also got to see how they treated other customers as I waited for my van to be done. Each one with kindness and generosity. I highly recommend them if you are looking for an honest mechanic and not someone who will swindle you.

Susan Sweeney My rear view mirror broke after a long trip from Amarillo Texas to Frisco. My daughter called Christian Brothers Automotive on 8110 FM 423 and they got me right in. The people there were so nice and professional. Such a caring place full of great people. My car had to stay overnight and when I picked it up the next morning my car was fixed, it was totally cleaned inside and out, and the people were so nice to me and made sure I was assured my car would be fine when I traveled back to Amarillo! I call that excellent customer service! The best part was knowing their Faith in God and Loving their neighbor ( in my case someone they didn’t know but but took care of me as a long time friend) Thank You All for taking such great care of me!

Carlie Rasmussen A few weeks ago I was rear-ended by a truck going 45 mph while I was at a stoplight. My Atlas needed over $10,000 in repairs. I was worried about where to take it and the other person’s insurance recommend this Caliber. I am so glad I took my car here. Gus was the lead repair person. He was very knowledgeable and personable. He kept me updated about the status of my car. Martha was the receptionist. She was very friendly and personable. The painter (I don’t remember his name, but he’s Martha’s husband) did a great job and I can’t even tell it’s had work (blends in to original paint). Daiytien had his hands full with the electric/computer system of my car, but he figured it out. I am very appreciative of the work everyone at Caliber did. Highly recommend.

Noah Goss Last weekend, my car window was unfortunately smashed while I was at a concert in Dallas. I quickly contacted this company, and they provided fast, professional, and convenient service. They even went to the Mercedes dealership to pick up the OEM window, ensuring the replacement was done to factory standards. They came to my home, replaced the window, and completed the tinting the very next day—all at an affordable price. Their team was easy to work with, flexible, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was done right. Brian Dudley Not impressed by the service department at all. I called 3 days ago to get pricing for a windshield replacement. I was told they were all out for lunch for the next hour and a half, but would call me back later that day with a quote. I called back around 3:30 and was told nobody was available in the service department, but they would call me back that day. Tried calling several times again over the next few days and they were always unavailable. Finally got a hold of someone today and he said he would text me a quote over. It is 7 at night and still no quote. I will call a different dealership tomorrow. I am done with this one.

Spencer Langley Rare to find a shop this good, honest and flexible. They quoted me for a suspension job using my own parts based on book time of 3.5 hours. It took them less time and they charged me for the actual time. Yes, they charged me less $$ than the original quote. I realize this could go the other way and they may have charged more if presented with a difficult circumstance. Fortunately, the risk of going longer is mitigated when the service provider employs experienced professionals who take pride in their work and have the right tools. This is what you get at LD Automotive. Ive already referred others here.

Cedric Smith Very friendly staff. I go here for most of my car troubles whether it’s as simple as an oil change or something more serious. Most times you can just pop right in and get fixed, although scheduling in advance will help speed things up I almost always just show up and they get to me pretty quickly and then I’m out the door. Great group of guys, fair pricing and they do great work as well. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Tim Tomlinson I cut a corner too sharp with my truck and scraped a concrete bollard. Buffing helped but there were long and deep scratches along with some slight warping around the wheel well and other dents. I didn’t need it fixed, but it bothered me so I decided if I could find a decent price I would get it taken care of. I checked several body shops closer to my area, but decided to drive out to Dr Auto to see what they would say. After speaking with Jose, I had found my place. They gave me a very reasonable price and did an excellent job of repairing the damage. I also had some other minor door dings and scratches which they took care of. They had the truck for a few days and had it ready within the time promised. Communication during the week was with Manny and was excellent. I was very pleased with the results and would not hesitate to return.

Asharhri Falls My car looks and feels like a brand new car! I’m so glad I decided to go with Dr. Auto. Manny was absolutely wonderful to work with and completely transformed the back of my car after it was involved in a hit and run accident.
