John Roger Wood This has been my car maintenance shop for many years. This is not a huge operation with lots of expensive overhead. Hank, the owner, always greets me when I come in and we discuss what work needs to be done. After the shop gets started with my car, Hank always calls me to re confirm what will be done, including options and cost estimates. When the work is complete, Hank goes over what was done and answers my questions. The work is always done in a timely fashion, with no big surprises. Ive always been satisfied with the work. The whole operation is very organized, clean and professional. Dealing directly with the owner is reassuring, knowing everything will done to my satisfaction.

John Maline Excellent service on my 2018 Toyota Highlander that exceeded my expectations. This was my 2nd visit to have major services and repairs done and will continue to take my car here in the future. I dont say that lightly; there are many shops available to us in the Austin area, but I think I can trust Oak Hill Automotive with my cars health in the future.

The tow truck dropped it in the most inconvenient spot in their parking lot and they were very kind and understanding of the situation! Went in to grab truck, and they kindly explained the fixes and showed the parts! Definitely would recommend

Maria Pallais I recently visited Chris’s shop after making my own repairs and encountering a dash full of trouble lights. Despite being extremely busy, Chris was kind enough to stop what he was doing, take the time to look at my vehicle, and connect the diagnostic computer to it. He quickly diagnosed the issue, suggesting that the new part I installed might have a faulty sensor and recommended reinstalling the original sensor. Although he couldn’t perform the repair himself due to having many other cars ahead of mine, his advice was spot on. I went home, replaced the sensor as he suggested, and all the warning lights on my dashboard went away. Chris’s expertise and willingness to help, even when busy, were greatly appreciated. He’s gained a new customer for life. Highly recommend!

Sierra Pizarro So convenient; so friendly; fairly-priced. I discovered this spot after receiving some coupons from them in the mail. Prior to this I planned on getting an oil change and wheel alignment at Meineke (~$200). I got both done at Amazing for around $130 (original price: ~$150). I waited for my car inside their lobby: they have WiFi, snacks, super cold ac, really cute restroom, and drinks!

Rajan Chopra First off, Jake is the most trustworthy person I’ve ever met in an auto shop. He explained everything thoroughly and even spoke directly with my car dealership and my warranty company on multiple calls. I don’t know much about cars and always fear I’m getting taken advantage of, but definitely felt like he was a man of the people. Additionally, comfortable waiting room, good music, free coffee and snacks, free WiFi and the 90 minutes I had wait didn’t seem long at all.

Anya Anderson-Watkins 10/10 recommend. Everything was so seamless! Its plenty to eat or do while you wait for your car. I went to work out at the gym across the street. I got 4 tires replaced and a wheel alignment. They did it all under an hour! Car running smooth! I will be back! Oh I didnt have my wallet or card since I was working out but they do tap to pay for the win!

Misty Flippin I googled a tire shop close to work and found this place. Austin has been phenomenal and so kind and helpful! I dropped my tire off to have it patched from a nail and I came back the next day for my convenience and they put it on quickly. I also found out they are part of the same company that I bought tires from that were so kind and helpful too. I definitely recommend them and will come to them in the future!

Jeremy Sanchez This mechanic shop has been here as long as I can remember. I’ve been In South Austin for 21 years. Just recently they have started working on diesel trucks. So after all this time, it’s my first experience with them. Very satisfied at the amount of time it took to diagnose, fix and return to me. After a few days of driving it, I can honestly say I have no complaints about the repair! Highly recommend these guys.

Amanda Briones My husband took our truck into this shop for a loud noise in the front while driving. Turns out it was the wheel bearings. Jonathan made the process so easy. He was very kind and professional. He helped us very quickly. I was able to pick up the truck the same day! They fixed the issue! So very happy! No more spaceship noise lol. Michael Johnston Excellent establishment. High quality used cars all in top AA1 condition. If they dont have the vehicle u are looking for on their lot, they will source multiple specs for u to choose from. I wanted a rare C43 AMG Mercedes. They had 3 for me to choose from. I choose the one with tuxedo black interior with a metallic silver finish. Over the years I had them upgraded my AMG. I wanted H&R springs to lower it 2.5 inches. They paired them with bilstein shocks. High quality craftsman level technicians. So my newly lowered and aligned Benz was now sitting pretty. Absolutely no issues after the work was completed. Not a single pop or ping from my new suspension. Strong work!!

We took our Subaru on the recommendation of our regular mechanic because two batteries had died in a short period of time and our mechanic couldn’t find the problem. We needed an electrical expert and All Points Auto Electric found the problem in no time! This is where you need to take your car for any electrical issues. Highly, highly recommended! Shelby Lee These people are the best people!! I hit a deer in January in my BRAND NEW CAR. I was so upset but I took it to genuine and they took super good care of me and my car. They gave me updates as the work went on. Gave me a realistic timeliness of when my car would be done and now shes beautiful again!! Ill be sure to add photos of the before and after. They are awesome! Charlene was my girl in this whole situation. Made it super easy!

Spencer Preston The people that run this business are honest, fair and will help you. I flew into TX to buy a Duramax and wanted to get it professionally looked at before I drove it back to NC. They looked it over and recommended a couple things. Their attention to detail shined through when they found a carrier bolt that was holding one of the shocks instead of the proper bolt. They fixed it on the spot and were fair and honest. I would recommend them to anyone and wish them nothing but success in the future. Thank you!

Evan Rowley Jerry and Giselle run a great, local, small business. Theyre incredibly transparent and trustworthy and not trying to pull the wool over your eyes. Ive taken my car here twice in the last 6 months. Both times they were incredibly kind and hospitable, and the work on my car was very thorough and comprehensive. Jerry even dropped what he was doing to bail me out of a minor emergency the other day. Im very appreciative of the quality and care they provide.

Megz After talking to multiple mechanics around town, no one could figure out why my car wouldnt start. I was fed up after three months of my car not starting so I decided to tow my classic wagon to Crestview Auto Repair, which is conveniently in my neighborhood. Im am incredible thankful to have met Jerry! He was able to locate the issue and had it fixed at a very affordable price. Thanks to him, I have my weekend driver back in action. Mark Duoto Ive done a very lot of reviews and never gave 5 stars till now. The staff here are knowledgeable about everything they carry, great service, things are done when they say they will be and done correctly. They keep whatever they sell stocked up so you dont have to worry whether or not they have something. Play they are great with the customers and go well beyond what they have to do. It does get a bit busy at times play take a few minutes for them to get to you but when you take care of each customer like you should thats how it is sometimes. Great job guys

Brianna Tello I came here because supposedly he was really good paid 3000 to get my motor fixed. Took it home and within the week I couldn’t turn it back on anymore, so I had to tow it back to him and he said he would fix it. We kept calling to ask when he would have it ready he kept saying a day and once it came down to that day he wouldn’t answer or if he did answer he would say something else was wrong with it, took him almost a month to give it back. And now I’m still having the same issues and more. He told us it was going to be fixed since the first day I took it to him said he was a good person and wouldn’t do anything foul. Do not believe anything this man says. Now I have to take my car somewhere else to do what I needed him to do the first time I took it to him plus all the other issues it didn’t have before I gave it to him and pay all over again!

yolanda de la garza Worst and horrible mechanic shop this man is a pathological liar he has no word we paid him $2400 to fix something on my engine but he end up breaking parts and worst of all he cut the catalytic converter from my truck without telling us which we knew they weren’t bad because we had just had checked with the computer. Now our truck has so many issues and they also broke parts and left parts disconnected. Please don’t go to this place.
