2 /5 Jackson Gattis: They charged me $150 for a "diagnosis" where Jerry drove my car around for a bit and said "yup, it has a bad clutch". I had to take it to another mechanic to find out why: the transmission fluid was low! Guess who the last person to touch my transmission was? Jerry! I guess he didnt see the need to tighten the cap all the way, or use anti-sieze on a 10 year old vehicle.
In all seriousness, hes a decent mechanic who has always seemed honest enough. His prices for real work aint low, though, and in what I assume are his professional twilight years it seems like hes gotten more cavalier about things. If you need a complex issue diagnosed or a major repair done, itd probably be better to go elsewhere. If you just want some regular maintenance done by a local business, I think Crestview Auto is a great place.
