Romo “Alex the macchiato guy” Joe and the mechanics here are awesome. In America today it is extremely hard to find honest mechanics that do a good job and do it correctly. They fixed every issue sent me updates along the way and communicated how everything was going. This shop is worth every penny. They replaced the O ring I messed up that was leaking on the oil plug, did an alignment that most shops ignored or wouldnt do stating the vehicle was too heavy, replaced both lower control arms correctly after the original failed and I was in a bind. Jerry Foster I brought in my vehicle for a coolant flush and thermostat replacement. Joe and his team are top-notch professionals, and I cant stress that enough. I doubt that theres a shop (or many businesses in Longview overall) that are as straight-forward and honest as Southern Longview Automotive. Mechanics are expensive no matter where you go. However, I challenge anyone to find more reasonable prices. They dont nickel and dime at all. Clear communication, honesty, integrity, and respect is what youll find here. SGBigboy82 The shop has a problem in that it is overloaded with work. Takes a long time to get your car back. Ive had two cars in there and was charged for things that werent repaired. He also marked up some of the parts by 50%. I think hes a nice guy but not as good as some of the reviews said. Like I said he charged me for time he spent working on things but they still didnt work when he got through with it.

Ryon Kampmann I took my truck here after having a bad experience at another shop and really just wanted a second opinion and these guys were blown away at how much the other shop wanted to charge me and how much work they wanted to do. I told them what I believed was wrong with my truck and they confirmed it was for sure that so they fixed it the next day and I was on my way with no noise or issues on the truck. They were upfront and honest with me and told me the other shop was outrageous on their pricing and most of what they recommended to fix was unnecessary. We had never used 501 before and sort of happened on the by chance and we are for sure glad we did. They quickly diagnosed his truck and changed out this water pump with less than a 24 hr wait. Which I thought was great considering no one else could even touch his truck for a week or two. Definitely scroll past the less than perfect reviews. Im pretty hard to impress and these guys are top notch for sure.

CHRIS LP Crooked! My elderly mom inquired about a transmission issue with her car. She set an appointment and subsequently dropped off her car. Independent research and assessments from other mechanics guesstimated the repairs to be between $1000 and $1300 in total; diagnostic test, part, and repair. She then received a quote $2200. Needless to say, she left without her car being repaired and went to another location. That location made the repairs for just under $1000. Heres the kicker. My mother wrote an honest review of Faith Automotive, capturing nothing but the facts. Faith then contacted her, asking what deal could be made to remove the review. They refunded her diagnostic charge of approximately $140.00 in exchange for removing the review to preserve their false professionalism. Shes on a very limited fixed income, so she found it a better offer. I, as her son, feel its despicable at best and deserves to be publicized. They are scam artists taking advantage of people and then covering their tracks by bargaining with people to remove the negative yet factual reviews.
