jeannie via Had to go in for my ankle. I thought I just twisted it. Not so lucky. I did manage to fracture a bone in my ankle. The staff was amazing, efficient and so nice. I love the make appointment feature for ER. Takes all the guess work out of how long you will be there.

Jeremy Burk Had to take my mom in for heart issues. RN Loretta was outstanding. She kept us informed and updated on the tests that were ran and the process and procedures for being admitted to the hospital. Dr. Monk treated my mom as an individual not just another number to hurry and get through to get to the next patient. He made sure that she understood everything that was happening. pamela gwynn They tell you to arrive 30 minutes early to register for a procedure and take others who arrived later ahead of me. I waited 35 minutes and late for my procedure. They had people sitting around and I made them aware twice I was waiting. What kind of business runs like this? Go somewhere else for Radilogy or outpatient procedures

Robert Stopher Five stars for Kelli Mabey, NP. Saw her for the first time today after seeing Karen Young for almost 20 years. Those are big shoes to fill, but Kelli is filling them nicely! She is so professional, kind, a great listener and truly wants what is best for her patients! I feel so comfortable knowing my health care is in the best hands! Everyone I encountered today, from the receptionist, to the nurse who took my vitals, to Nicole, Kelli’s nurse was exceptional!! Everyone is what you expect in a medical clinic! Teresa Stopher

Taylor Phillips I have been going to Center for Family medicine for nearly 15 years now. They have always done a sufficient enough job, though today, my experience was so impactful in the best way, that I felt it necessary to express that. Especially to commend the Nurse Practitioner who took care of me, Kayla Earnhart. My originally two NPs have retired now and this was my first time with Kayla. I was anxious about this, but any worry that I had genuinely vanished from the moment I was welcomed by Kaylas comforting presence. She was warm and caring, while still knowledgeable and efficient, exemplifying what a true nurse and healer should be. I feel incredibly lucky to have gotten myself under her care and hope to stay there as long as I can! Thank you for your assistance today Kayla! I am actually looking forward to the next time I have to attend the doctor now!

Theresa Burk I was recently a patient at Carrus. In the door and you are in the best care you can receive. Highly trained personnel from Doctors to technicians. I never saw one that didnt have a smile.

Aysa Im currently a patient here and I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. Im supposed to have wound care done daily .... Im lucky if its done every 3 days. Some of the nurses think they are Gods gift to nursing and treat their patients as such. Some of the techs are rude as hell and are definitely just here for the paycheck. My bedside commode can go all day without being emptied. There are many other things that I could share, but I dont want to get into specifics so that I can be identified. Just know that if you have a loved one here, they arent being taken care of properly.

Opdahl Marshall “Skippy” compared to other hospitals this place is great, its a mental hospital tho so i hated it NOTES -some staff were extremely rude, but only to kids who were violent (eric told some kid he deserved to go back to juvi, i hate you eric) -pillows can be folded in half for more comfort!! -other patients were cool and just like me -food was way better than school food!! also if u dont like it, u can get a pb&j instead so yay! -some staff are so cool and treat you like their your friend, like T!! shes cool :3 -we watcg movies here, yay

Alaina Didnt help my issues, they let me out even after I was still depressed and harming myself (I made it clear I was because I was between wanting help and not wanting it) all they did was adjust my stay to a week and 3 days instead of just a week. Loved the group therapists though they were so sweet, dont remember their names but I went here back in October 2023.

Amanda Johnson Second Update: I contacted them about never getting my prescription, they apologized and said they would call it in and STILL NO PRESCRIPTION CALLED IN a week after my appointment!!! No idea why this place exists other than to waste your time and money. Shame. On. Them. They were happy to take my cash but could care less about your well- being. Will be contacting the BBB. Update: Well changing this from 5 to 1 stars because just like the reviews below, the front office staff messed everything up and did not call my prescription in and now Ive got to wait with an infection for antibiotics until Monday. The phone number on here and their website is not correct. What a waste of time. Dont waste yours.... Came here last minute as a walk in on a Saturday and had zero wait, very good experience with the nurse and doctor. The negative reviews on here have to do with front office staff, not the actual care received. Dont expect a hello, smile or any kind of cordial behavior when you check in, front office staff is not or welcoming or friendly at all. But once you get in the back everyone is really great and doctor was kind and knowledgeable.

natalie selman I never leave reviews but our experience was bad enough, others need to be aware. My husband was taken here for a motorcycle accident by ambulance (so not our choice). The nurse we had was very hateful and you could tell she didn’t want to be there. The people who did the x ray didn’t seem to know what they were doing and took forever! My husband had a severe gash under his chin, they left it open as it was just bleeding and running all down his neck. I had to ask one of the nurses if it needed stitches. Her reply was “if it was me I would say no but I don’t know what his doctor’s preferences are.” He ended up getting 3 stitches after we told the doctor we wanted them. I guess they were just going to leave it open?? They also didn’t clean any of the blood off of him, I had to do it. I also had to get him dressed all by myself which was a struggle as he had a fractured elbow. They also weren’t going to even bandage or clean all of the road rash abrasions until I told them I wanted it done there. They were just going to send him home and I guess expect me to do all that. I could go on and on but needless to say I don’t recommend this place at all and we will NOT be coming back.

bblake89 The care provided by Allison and the entire team, including Mike, Tony, and Pat, has far surpassed my expectations. Initially, I was hesitant about choosing WNJ due to a common perception that it might not be the top hospital option in Sherman. In fact, we had planned for my grandpa to initially receive care at Baylor Scott and White in McKinney before he needed emergency assistance. However, after witnessing the exceptional dedication of the ICU team—respecting my grandpa, attentively addressing our concerns, and delivering a level of care comparable to the nation’s best hospitals—I am confident he is in the most capable and compassionate hands. I sincerely hope that WNJ receives the recognition, funding, and support it needs to continue providing this outstanding level of care to patients across Sherman and the Texoma region.

Kayson Wood didn’t answer any of my phone calls or messages then refused to give me a TB test in a timely manner. receptionist was extremely rude. i hope y’all’s day is awful

Edith Owens Everyone there is very nice. The nurses are nice the staff is nice and the doctors are nice but I also agree calling back it is a nightmare I was placed on some medication that you can’t go without or it don’t work while trying to get paperwork done in the right prescription For me now I’m sitting here without my medicine no one will call me back to let me know what’s going on. It’s very just disappointing and very frustrating. I’m 62 years old and I can honestly say I have never had an experience like this in my life. It’s enough that it makes you just want to cry. So instead of crying about it, I found a new doctor today one that has promised that they will not let me go without my medication and promise me that they will return my phone calls Very very happy and satisfied now. I hope when these doctors go out on their own and get their own practices that they have enough compassion to do a lot better for their selves, and what they are doing.now

Laura Caldwell I had an unfortunate situation I had to deal with and recover in the hospital for 9 days. I was on the 2nd floor and every single person from housekeeping, techs, nurses, the mri tech, Drs., food service asking about food preferences - every* single* person* I encountered, on every single shift, including nights and weekends, for 9 days was so kind and helpful. I did not have one bad experience. It also happened exactly this way a couple years ago when I was there for a similar situation. They were completely amazing and that’s why I chose this hospital again. I can’t say thank you enough for being there for me during one of the worst times of my life. You handled me with such care and every single person deserves a raise. They can’t possibly make enough. Thank you so much.
