After reading the Google reviews, I felt like taking my car here for new spark plugs would be a safe bet. And it definitely was. They got me scheduled quickly. And got my car back to me just as quickly, which is now starting like it should and running great. They didnt try to up-sell me on extra stuff & services like so many places do. Kind and friendly and honest. It was a pleasure to discover Straight Automotive. They did a great job for me. Ill definitely return, cause they were great.

Ricky Guajardo From start to finish my experience with Chase was great. I never even met him in person but he was great at communicating and updating throughout the process. After the repairs he called me to let me know a battery light came on. I let him know that the battery is 6 months old and that light wasn’t there. He didn’t argue he just said a mechanic will look at it and days later we were all good. My truck looked cleaner then I’ve seen it in a long time. Great experience, I will be back to this location if I ever need repairs done again. Thank you Chase

The owner of the vehicle that hit us was very nice and admitted fault right away, I took my vehicle to be repaired at caliber collision and right away they were very nice and took care of me, and my vehicle was ready at the time frame I was given. I picked up the rental car at caliber collision shop and return it there also. My vehicle looks good as New and was so clean inside and out. Like nothing ever happened. I highly recommend this place.

Jim Prince These are the folks I want working on my vehicles from now on. Had engine check light on my truck. Error code indicating my DPF was clogged and not running regen. Talked to Smokes and he offered to come to my place to check it out. Came after normal working hours. Ran a full scan of my trucks operating system and confirmed multiple issues going on. Initiated a forced regen. Upon completion scanned my system again and confirmed all the issues had been corrected. Truck is now running great!!! Price was not only very reasonable, he saved me thousands compared to taking it to the dealership where they would have wanted to replace the filter instead. These are the people I’ll trust my vehicles to from now on!!!!!

I only tell him one thing, but they just decided to do it without telling me so if anyone text a vehicle to this place, he’s not a good mechanic at all. They don’t know what they’re doing because he messed everything up on my car so if anybody takes your vehicle to this place, he’s not a good mechanic at all. Frances Rivera I went to Speedy’s yesterday 3/5/25 for the first time and received excellent service the gentleman’s name is Ace Rivera and he is very kind and very professional. He was nice enough to explain everything about changing the oil in my transmission and then when I went to pick it up, he showed me what it looks like and I was very, very satisfied so I would highly recommend speedy’s for anybody that needs their transmission fluid change im so glad that I can stay with Business here, local blessings everyone.

Alfredo Gomez I recommend not taking youre car there spent too much money my Buick encore still had issues, took it to Walmart for an oil change and told me a had a oil leak under the manifold. If it was for having to give 1 star I wouldnt give them any stars.

JAYLYN WARREN Went in for a new tire and told them I just wanted the cheapest tire. They quoted me two options for $200+ and $180. I told them it sounded far too high and he offered me an option at $120. Was that option not available before and were you just trying to rip me off? I went to walmart and got a tire for $79. I won’t even waste my time here next time and I recommend you don’t either.

Domingo Zapata Jr The auto techs did an excellent job and fast service on my tire rotation and balance on my truck. This is my second set of tires I purchased at Firestone and the first set lasted 86K and they were warranted for 60K. The current Daimen manager and previous managers have always been very professional and interactive and informative on every visit at this location. PS the inside could use a bit of TLC in the waiting area and restroom.

He listened to exactly what I wanted for my exhaust and nailed it. The work was fast, clean, and done right the first time.Hands down the best muffler shop in the Kyle, Lockhart, and San Marcos area. If I ever need more work done, I’m definitely coming back!

Nick Lozano I came here 3 years ago to get my full exhaust, including headers done on my truck. It was a bit of a custom job as I did an engine swap on it and they did a fantastic job. I’m working on another engine swap, and had to get a bolt that was stuck in the head out yesterday. The owner was able to get me in the same day right before closing and was able to get it out super quickly. These guys are awesome and I will continue driving from Kyle whenever I need any exhaust work done. The owner is super easy to work with and talk to. I’ll be bringing my Camaro over for the full exhaust when I’m done.

Terry Pim In July 2007, Mike charged me $1550.00 to overhaul the transmission in my 2001 Dodge Ram (163,103 miles). In December 2012, after 47,538 miles driving back and forth to San Marcos, the transmission when out. My new mechanic advised us that the only thing new in my transmission when he dropped it was the torque converter. Mike hadnt rebuilt our transmission at all. Had he bothered to do his job the first time it would not have cost me another $2730.00 to have it repaired properly. I do not recommend Mikes Auto Repair.

Carpenter Craig “Big C” Took two vehicles there. Big mistake! First was my truck because it needed a transmission rebuild. He did the job and 7 months later it blew up. Took him 3 months to do the warranty and he complained about having to do it. I had to threaten him with him with forcing him to return my money to get it done. The second was my wifes car. I paid him almost $1300 to rebuilt the complete ac system on the car and I bought all of the parts! 4 months later it blew out. He gave excuses and put me off for 9 months until I just parked it there and told him to fix it. It still took him a month and he had the nerve to tell me "Its taking up my lift!" Then he charged me $300 more and to boot, they left the windows down on my car allowing cats to get in and spray all over my leather interior not to mention all the dirt that blew into it... I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THAT SHOP. Definitely one of the worst experiences Ive ever had..

Tom Thornell I took my vehicle to Mike to replace an intake manifold and carb. I had purchased the specialty parts from Summit. Mike said he would do the work in a few days. When I called in a few days he had not started. When I called back in a week he had still not started. When I called back in another week he had not started. When I called back he said since my car was not a daily driver it did not have a high priority. I told him it would be a daily driver if he fixed it. After he had the car for two months I called him again and he said he would have it done by the end of the month (this was on the 13th that I called him). I told him that since it was apparent that he did not want to do the work I would come get my car. So I did. I will not be returning to Mikes Auto Repair.
