Gidget Muhammad I took my vehicle there twice and the wires and spark plugs were changed. I spent over $400 for that. My truck had a slight vibration afterwards. Three days later it had multiple mis- fires. My truck was not running like that before taking it in. Took it to another shop only to find that two of the plugs were cracked. But this place said they had checked and there was no issue with my plugs or coils. I also was told that they had no clue what the issue was but if I gave them $1000 they would work to find out what the cause was. I dont know if its because Im black or if they are incompetent. Either way I wont ever allow to fix ANYTHING of mine. Not even a bicycle.

And I wasn’t just dealing with some random employee — I was dealing with the owner, Terry, the whole time. So there’s no excuse. What really pushed it over the edge? They jacked the price up $140 without even telling me. No approval, no explanation — just added it to the bill like it was nothing. Super shady. Worse, I had to call every single day for updates. No communication, no sense of urgency. The shop is so packed it looks more like a junkyard than a business — and now I understand why. Nothing but unorganized chaos. Unprofessional, overpriced, and no accountability — even from the owner. I wouldn’t trust them with an oil change, let alone a real repair.

I took my car in for an alignment with them on Thursday but supposedly they assumed that my car could not be adjusted which it could be adjusted because I had after market control arms to be adjusted but they were very unprofessional and did not even apologize and gave us the car back and a refund. So now I’m going to have to take it else where. I do not recommend them at all. They are crooks.

Joseph Costandy Very honest guy. I had gone to autozone and was told I need an alternator changed. Went to him to get it changed and he first checked my existing alternator and found that it was fine and that the issue was with my battery (a much cheaper job). Will definitely be going back again.

Mark McGee My check engine light came on when i was 1,000 miles away from home. I went to an auto parts store and had them scan the code and turned out to be my catalytic converter. So I knew i could drive it home. Once i got home, i called several shops for an estimate. J&G came in at 1/2 the cost of other area shops, including the dealership. YANDY was able to order the part and it came in that same evening. I dropped my truck off at 0900 the next morning and he had me out by noon. Also has a 25K mile warranty. J&G Mechanic Center was very responsive, respectable and competitive. Plan on taking my service to him. If you have automotive service needs, give J&G Mechanic a shot, at least get a quote and see for your self.
