Sasha Sasha Loved learning from Veronica at her nail academy! I could never imagine that you can learn so much about nails in just 3 days. Despite being intense: I learned a lot and got certified in Russian manicure! Veronica is a great teacher and a very friendly person that made the course educational and fun. If you are looking to learn how to do Russian manicure I highly recommend her nail academy!

Gol Naz stop searching & just make the appointment. You will not be disappointed!! I LOVE the all female amazing team, especially Savanna! She has taken my nail art dreams to the next level that I didn’t know I needed. This salon is cruelty & fume free so no headaches or anything after. They are so friendly & professional. I can’t say enough great things so added a few pics for proof.

Kennethia Magee Lisa is awesome! Shes always so kind and comes up with unique designs that she knows fits my personality. I usually get in and out even without an appointment. Their prices are pretty reasonable for what I usually get. I would definitely recommend them.

Katlyn Ngo Lynn does a great job on my nails every time. Have been coming for her for years and you can tell she takes the time to perfect her work. The owners here are so sweet and they make their guests feel special and welcomed. They’re open late as well as most holidays, sunshine or snow. They truly don’t get enough credit!!

kiana wilson Very sloppy and not sculpted well at all. I was the very 1st customer in the empty salon and was immediate refused services with any designs because of appointments they had. I spent 1 hour 30 minutes there and only 1 other customer showed during this time so I really didn’t understand why I couldn’t have what was initially asked for. Also, I chose chrome gold. This is no where near the color I chose, I pointed this out to them and they explained they didn’t have everything needed for chrome at the time. This should’ve been explained before giving what they thought would be close to it, The tech cut my fingers while doing my cuticles.

Brenna Cole I’ve been to this salon more than once since I live 3 mins away and I have only ever liked one manicure ever. The set I got yesterday is just too bad to not leave a review. Not only are my cuticles and the skin around my nails so torn that they bled, the nails are all sticking up at a weird angle…. I flinched over and over and she just kept saying “sorry” and then continued to tear my skin to shreds with the nail file. The gems that she glued on were sloppily applied with glue with no top coat so one wrong bump and they will come off and the glue you can visibly see looks terrible. I showed my boyfriend my nails and he said “wow even I could do better than that mess.” They are truly embarrassing to have on my hands and to top it all off, I was charged over $130 for the set because I’m too nice to make a scene. I will absolutely not be returning and will tell everyone I know to never go to this place. BEWARE.

Ericka McCallum Alex is phenomenal. I will not go to anyone else. I have gone to her for about two years now and anytime I show her any inspiration she executes it perfectly. She has now memorized my favorite shape and we get creative each time. I just let her do what She thinks is best. It makes me excited to get my nails done every few weeks!!!

Caela Watkins I wish I lived closer to Dallas because Judy did such an amazing job on my gel-x set! They looked great when they were fresh and I can tell she did good work by how they look grown out a bit. Ive been doing them at home myself since the pandemic and it’s nice to have someone who can do them for me every once in a while. I’m sure I’ll be back when I’m in the area!

kiley c I’ve paid Grand Nail Spa on Northwest Highway a visit a few times, mostly because my friend goes here and loves it. However, I have had nothing but bad experiences here, unfortunately. My nails, regardless of if it’s dip or gel, will come off in less than a week. I’ve never had this problem at any other salon. In addition, the salon is also very hectic and unorganized. I had an appointment this past Monday and waited 15 minutes past my appointment time for my nail tech, even though others who had appointments after me were getting their nails already worked on. I had multiple technicians working on me as well during my visit, which is quite frustrating when you have to re-explain what you’d like over and over again. It ended up taking over an hour for just a gel manicure… All in all, I think there is better nail salons in Dallas to choose from.

Amanda Morris Carvajal This is my second gel mani where I’ve left with gloppy uneven top coats that get thick toward the top of the nails just giving distorted, indistinct shape and no sharpness. Just blobs at the ends of my fingers. Just a big glob. Last time they fixed it, but this time I didn’t bother. I won’t be back. Theyre work is shoddy and many of these techs just don’t know how to do a good gel coating. Tired of paying for ugly gobby manicures. They need to retrain their nail techs at the least the ones I’ve gotten. This pedi was fine. However, they don’t trim to ensure ingrown.Last one didn’t paint down to cuticle so grew out super fast.Then today techs ran off as fast as they could to some sort of VIP costumer. Used to love this place but quality has suffered just not caring or lack of training. I’ve had very good gel manis here just not anymore. I’ll be going somewhere else from here on. They’r O for 2 now. I’m out. What a waste of money.

Kyrstithe Esti They did a great job and did what I wanted, and was a nice mothers day treat however I was pretty uneasy that the tools and files used on me werent sanitized. The towels were dirty also. I brought it up to the cashier and he said he’d look into it but I really hope I don’t get an infection from used tools… everything used on me didn’t come from a bag and came straight from their personal boxes.

Not only did he help with my wedding nails, but also with the cutdown after my wedding so that the nails were more work appropriate. Both sets look amazing! I will definitely be back.

Christy Barrett The place itself was nice enough. However, I wouldn’t recommend Melinda. She disagreed with the services I wanted and tried, more than once, to push me into a service I didn’t want. Oddly, what I wanted was more expensive…so she was pushing a down-sell. I should have realized that meant she wanted to go home. She proceeded to rush my service resulting in nails of varying lengths and many different shapes - although I asked for almond (a $5 up charge BTW). The shapes were all tilted so they look crooked on my hands; I tried to fix it myself & did the best I could. The paint job was also rushed & appears sloppy to me. I surface is not even, you can see ridges/dips in many of the nails. All over a bad experience but I attribute that to the technician (Melinda) not the place itself. Definitely not worth the money. The more I’m typing the more frustrated I get. It’s hard to tell from pictures but these are poorly done.

Barbara McKenzie My longtime nail salon closed so I went to Hillcrest Nails because it is near my house. On the positive side, the place is large and clean, they offer free water/sodas and getting a walk-in service is easy. On the negative side, I tried three different techs for a manicure and one for a pedicure. The first manicurist cut my skin so that it bled each time I went to her! Finally, after three times, I asked for another person and she was fine, but her English was so limited that she didnt understand when I tried to talk to her about my nails continually breaking - after a lifetime of strong nails. I tried a third tech and he spoke better English, but my Dazzle polish never lasted more than a few days and my nails continued to break. The pedicure I had left me with an ingrown toenail that got infected. So, Ive given up and changed to another salon where one of the techs from my old salon now works. She gave me a great manicure with regular polish that has already lasted longer than the Dazzle and is half the price of HNS.

Cleopatra Roberson I’m black and first time here. Never in my experience of getting a pedicure have I been told about price throughout the entire service so I paid before it was done so that they knew I was not running out the door with it and that I could afford it. Even left a $20 tip to the person who did my daughter’s princess pedicure (Katy). I also wanted a facial wax and was interrupted in my pedicure to do my facial wax in the midst of a relaxing pedicure. LIKE REALLY! How am I able to enjoy what I’m paying for if wax strips are being pulled off my face and there is no privacy!! First and last! Massage chairs are awesome.

Sa Rah **If you want RUSHED and CARELESS nails, come to Deluxe Nails on W Northwest Hwy. Sad. I really wanted to like this place because its close to my house. I got a gel nail done for the first time and it was not a good experience. I had acrylic on before I got these done and the nail tech did NOT push my cuticles back and DID NOT PAINT MY WHOLE NAIL. So now they look stubby. This business does just enough to get their money and get you out of the door.

Julie Salazar I wanted regular polish, they kept trying to make me get gel. I don’t want gel because of my preference, NOT because I can’t afford it. I got the simple peli because I can’t have anything hot on my legs for medical reasons, not because I’m broke. They treat you like you can’t afford their service when you say you don’t want the more expensive stuff. I still ended up paying 81$ plus 10$ tip for the simplest peli and these nails. Only one who did a great job and respectful was the male who did my toes. Nail broke off already Update: 2 day with them and they are all gone. You can tell they use the cheapest materials.

Andrea Guerrero I had an amazing experience with the nail tech Tu (Too). It to sure how to spell her name and but, she was amazing and very friendly. I’m from Arizona and I have never let anyone touch my nails if it isn’t from my state but, after my experience here I will definitely be going back. From the greater to the nail tech they’re very friendly , clean, efficient and made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely be traveling more often to Dallas and getting my fill’s with Deluxe.

Christin Spring Niki is the best! She is very thorough and truly gives each person individual care - you go in and it’s just you and her! No noisy crowd or waiting in lines. She is super sweet and friendly and has many long term clients … for good reason. I will keep coming back to her and will not let anyone else touch my nails! She’s saved my nails over and over again. Samantha Wells Although Nikki is very nice, I was extremely disappointed with the service I received. I pre booked/paid for my service on Classpass and booked a “Powder Polish with Tips” service. Nikki started doing my nails and must have forgotten that I wanted (and paid for) tips. Additionally, her selection of powder polish is extremely limited. I ended up getting a color that wasn’t what I originally wanted when I went in that day, and it turned out the color also glows in the dark (not my cup of tea). I received my service Thursday afternoon, and by Sunday (3 days later) my polish was already falling off on multiple nails. I’d expect this for a regular manicure. Keep in mind: I also work at a desk all day, so the most action my nails get is typing and ever other dip manicure I’ve gotten previously has lasted for three weeks minimum. If I wanted a regular manicure without tips, I would have booked that, but the fact that the service I booked is such poor quality is disappointing.

Lex Gascon BOOK the appointment! Seriously, Kseniia is a master at her craft, her work across the board, cuticles, color, shape, is perfection. And they hold up, Im extremely hard on my nails, and yet I was able to work in the garden, work on home remodeling (drywall, framing, electrical, plumbing, the works) projects and still get done up for a night out with flawless nails. For reference that was with medium length almond nails usually with ornate designs as well, and Ive yet to break one. And my nails are hard to do with short nail "stubby" nail beds yet when I leave they are perfectly shaped feminine looking nails. If youre looking for that pinterest nail perfection, this is IT.

Vashti Sosa-Ofiokpa First time here and I’m glad I gave them a chance! I have terrible luck at nail salons as it always feels rushed and because of it, the mani/pedi’s turn out bad. At Plush Nails & Spa, Betty (manicurists) & David (pedicure) took their time and treated me well. They did their best to match my toe polish to gel color on my nails and I wasn’t made to feel like an annoyance for asking them to do so. Will definitely be back! Thank you, Betty & David!

Julia Rase Kim has been doing my nails for years and now shes finally branched out and got her own shop and it is such a great vibe! Im not sharing the photo of my feet because ew, but when I say that my legs are relaxed and my toes are adorable because of Tiffany and I honestly am over the moon about it. Today I had Le(pronounced like "Lee", but with one E) do my nail art and he gave me exactly what the photos I showed him were, with his own really adorable twist and tell me... these nails are giving "pink princess" vibes, right? Thats because he will give you everything you want and need and hes so good at it. I would give them a 10 if I could

Kimberly Kim Horrible customer service very unprofessional we came in today and the “owner” greeted us and sat us down we asked for pricing she gave us different pricing we then sat down and got a final price of 65 for French nails we agreed after that she says 5 dollars more for French we said ok then after that no 10 dollars more for French we then said ok once again then after she mumbles something to a worker and they started speaking in there language and then proceeds to look at me and says I forgot it’s 25 dollars more for French because I have to draw them so she changed the price 3-4 times while we were there finally we said no and thank u and walked out I then went back and she greeted me again I asked for the owner and she laughed saying she was the owner and that if I don’t like her prices I could leave I’ll attach a picture of her so u know who it is and to the owner it’s not the price that we were upset about it’s the fact that u saw a dollar sign on us and kept raising the price every 5 minutes if that’s how u handle business I’m sorry to say you won’t last long and just fyi since I can’t complaint to a higher up and u think u can treat people that was because your the owner I will be contacting the better business bureau and reporting you and your business I believe pricing should be the same for everyone so that being said thank u so much

Katie Fitzpatrick So sad to leave such a bad review, but this was truly the worst experience Ive had at this salon. Rather than listening to the client and allowing them to have a nice experience, they were far more concerned with getting me in and out even though they had literally just opened for the day. They would not let me take my time to choose a nail color despite me protesting. Instead they took the books out of my hands and rushed me over to the pedicure station. The manicurist would not wait for me to show her the shape nail I wanted and instead just started cutting. They turned out so short that my thumb hurt while she was filing it. The pedicure was also wrong. Hot stones were marked on my sheet. My mom got the wax though so they just did that to me too instead of reading my sheet. I also wasnt allowed to use the massage chair during the manicure. I paid $82 for this service and left so upset. For almost a hundred dollars, clients should feel relaxed, not like theyre a burden and being hurried through the process. Definitely will NOT be going back here.

Just Curious Channah Haynie Extremely impolite individuals They made me wait for two hours, then finally placed me at station 5 for an additional hour without providing any water. When I requested water so that I could soak my feet, the guy took 20 minutes to bring lukewarm water without any minerals. I politely asked if they could add something to soften my feet, but after 20 minutes of waiting, the woman at station 4 said she was not comfortable doing my nails. I calmly inquired why, but she simply replied that she wasnt comfortable. After waiting for 3 hours, I received no service, and I believe it was because the person in the video at the front desk didnt like me since I had told her she couldnt do my nails two months ago. The experience was terrible, and I expressed my dissatisfaction in a polite manner. However, they will waste your time and become defensive when you ask for the service you are paying for.

jesusisreal77 Decided to give them a first time try because reviews looked good but I was highly disappointed at the results I got. Over charged first off for some simple mid plain black nails,,,and did not do a good job at all the man at table 2 with the glasses cut me a few times with the tools and did not clean up my nails after also did not fill my whole nail with power he left some areas not done so you can see my nail underneath. I had to ask him to fix one of my nails right because when he first started to apply the nail it was extremely crooked.i wanted to get diamonds but after this I was just ready to pay and leave.!!Highly dissatisfied!!!! I will never go back again.

Cristy Martinez This place is my Oak Cliff go to now. I love my cat eye nails. They have a great happy hour special between 10-2 on Tuesdays through Friday. They are quick and efficient. Jessie is the nicest. I am in here everything couple of weeks and I will continue to come here regularly.

Bobbie Washburn I’ve been coming to Iris Nails for about two years, and I’m always impressed by the quality of service. Van, the manager is friendly, professional, and skilled, making sure every visit is relaxing and enjoyable. The salon is always clean, well-maintained, and has a great selection of colors and designs. My pedicures always turn out flawless, thanks to Kimmie. She takes time to ensure perfection and never rushes through my appointments. Plus, the atmosphere is welcoming, making it a perfect place to unwind and have some wine.

Jodi Potter After looking at reviews I thought this would be a good place to try and make my new home as the last place I used to go to gave me a fungus. I did the right thing as any customer who has this type of issue should and made sure it was cleared up and waited to get another (a whole year!). I walked in and expressed this and said it was ok to tell me I wasnt ready yet. But the lady said I was good to go and I was ECSTATIC to say the least. I chose my colors and was sat down. Everything was great until the end when it came time for colors/designs. As soon as I showed the lady the picture of what I was wanting, she immediately shook her head and said no. So I then really quickly found something else that I thought she would be able to do and she didnt understand. We called over someone and they translated and she said no to that also. The first design was a tiny bit complicated but the second was simple. Just a simple cascading effect of glitter polish over the dominant color. Once I was told no to both my asks, my whole experience was ruined. I just wanted to get out of there. Then I get home, finally look at them and its just horrible. I know I went in with jacked up toes from regrowing toenails for a year, but that doesnt excuse the poor work done. When I got home I noticed I still had a lot of dry skin on my toes that was not removed which is what I ultimately paid for. A pedicure is to have my feet scrubbed, scraped and clipped. In hindsight, looking at the reviews maybe they are really good when it comes to actual nails as that is what most of the reviews actually consist of. But I definitely would say steer clear of them if you want a pedicure. Because as you can clearly see in the pictures, its not even a good paint job on this simple, standard polish job. Update: I called on Monday, I expressed these sentiments and asked for a redo or a refund if it couldnt be redone. We scheduled the redo for the next day. Their front desk manager made sure to show the tech the issues before soaking my feet. This time came out much better as we all kept an eye on the process and made sure I was happy enough with the result. I am appreciative of them acknowledging and fixing the issue very much as that is hard to come by these days. I just wish their nail techs could do nail art because I would have guaranteed I would be back but who wants plain polish jobs every time they get a pedicure.

Nancy P This place is literally the BEST. I have been to two of their locations. Their customer service is amazing at all of them. I currently go to the Mocking bird location where K is my tech. She is an ARTIST. I love getting intricate designs and she delivers EVERY single time. I have even told her to surprise me and do whatever she wanted. And my nails came out FANTASTIC. Between the great nail techs and how welcoming each location is, I will literally never go anywhere else to get my nails done!
