Diana Libby Love this place! I’ve tried many others for my nails but, one person who meets the most to me in the world is my mom. She’s a diabetic and I take her here to, not only do her nails, but give her that extra pampered she deserves. They never fail to please in the extra pampering to Mom as well as myself. Keep up the great work...I’ll definitely be back again soon!

K B I have been here 2 times. The first time Diane was super friendly and did a great job on my pedicure. I went back to get a dip done on my nails. I had the guy. I picked a pretty pink color and about halfway through I told him they looked orange. He agreed and said they would look pink after buffing. They did not,they were an awful orange. He had to take the color off and start completely over. When I went to wash my hands he disappeared and Diane said she was doing them. She told me next time I need to look at the color after the first nail is done. She was blaming me and didnt talk to me as she finished with my new color. How was this my fault??? So rude and no apologie or consideration of my time. Do not recommend this shop. It is also very dirty.

Jennifer Plaza Since I moved away from this area I haven’t used this salon (maybe in at least 8 years). Unfortunately my small town doesn’t have any walk in nail salons so I always go to 46 for my services. I usually visit Beautiful Nail Day Spa but have been not very impressed with their unfriendliness and long waits. I came to this salon in hopes of not having to wait as long as was promptly greeted as soon as I arrived and was seated right away! Service is good and the color selection is vast. Will be coming back to this location for my pedicures in the future for quick service, friendly atmosphere and good prices!

Deb Anker Wendy was perfect. She is a pro, gentle and kind. I loved the nail design she did for me. Nancy did my pink nails. I love her work and professionalism. She will be my go to person.

Amanda Kim I went in on 11/1 to get a pedicure and full set of nails. The pedicure was amazing. Same as my first time with the same guy. My complaint is not with him, at all. My real issue is with my nails. The first guy they had doing my nails suddenly gets up and has another woman take over when his regular walks in. I thought it was rude, but I decided to just enjoy myself, because it had been so long since I last treated myself. The woman who took over seemed nice enough, but was not consistent with the my nails(talking to other workers and getting up a couple times and just leaving me there). By the end, she was rushing due to a regular of her’s coming in and just sitting right beside us waiting for her. I even let that go, but then at the very end, she abruptly gets up and just tends to her regular. Another worker came and put the cuticle oil on my nails and then just told me to wash them. She ended up checking me out and my total was $145. I still tipped on top of that experience. The best part is, I’ve had 3 nails break on me in less than ONE WEEK and my white tip is no longer white, so they look so cheap! The first break they fixed for free, but I refuse to go back there ever again and I will not refer anyone here, either. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE :(

Melissa Popoff Mia did a phenomenal job on my nails! I wanted a new set because I have never been happy with a fill at other places but she talked me into saying the nails still looked really good. Absolutely love what she did! They look fabulous!

Rachel Hancock I usually have a great experience here. Today was not so great. I’m not sure if maybe my tech was new or what but even after he redid them for me they still looked pretty bad. I got a fill with shellac polish. The first time they were so lumpy and thick. He told me it was the polish I chose. So I picked a different one and he redid them. They were a little better but I could tell it wasn’t the polish so much as just how they were being done. I didn’t ask to have them fixed again because that point I needed to leave and I didn’t have much hope it would get better. Not sure if I will go back. Hopefully this was just a one off because they have definitely done better. It does make me wonder…if I can see they look bad, can’t the person doing my nails see it too??? I don’t know maybe I am too picky.

Shal Madrigal Great service and attention to detail! They took me in quickly on a Sunday and gave me the VIP treatment, proferring a glass of wine and a relaxing chair massage while Tim took his time giving me a wonderful pedicure and manicure. 10/10 recommend. Happy to have found my new go-to spot! Just got acrylic nails with nail art by Ashley and she did amazing! They’re perfect. She takes her time and pays attention to detail, making sure you’re pleased every step of the way (length, shape, color, design) guaranteeing that you are pleased at the end. Donna also does great nails and nail art! My husband I both got pedicures—terrific!

Camo Tacos I had a great experience here. I got a full set and they look amazing. The shape is perfect. So much attention to detail!! And my nail beds do not hurt at all. I will be going back on the regular.

Alysha Adames Back again but had a dip manicure, eyebrow and lip wax this time. Everyone was super friendly and helpful just like last time. Ive been growing my nails out but broke a nail a few weeks ago and the gentleman was able to put a tip on that nail so no one will ever know. The young woman helped me pick out the perfect colors again. The other woman also did a great job on my wax. I visited Hill Country Nails & Spa for the first time today and I will definitely be back. Im glad I called ahead to make an appointment because the few people that walked in were asked to come back later because the staff was busy. I didnt catch the gentleman that did my nails name but he was polite, friendly, and did a wonderful job. I chose a shellac manicure and a regular pedicure. There was a young woman there who helped me pick put the perfect matching colors. She was very nice and helpful. Both my manicure and pedicure came out perfect and felt amazing.

Cinda Wood Had acrylic nail fill and polish today. The service was great, the nails beautiful and was easy to get an appointment. For those who said the shop was dirty, that is absolutely NOT true. Shop was extremely clean.

Vicky Rodgers I have been going here for a little over two years. Prices were great. I had no problem with it. Well,they got a new owner. Her name is heather well, they had price changing so I went in when they opened up after the holidays this year of 2025 and just to get a wash blow dry and straighten cost me $25 which is absolutely ridiculous especially when I bring my own shampoo and conditioner and all my products, my hair is not that long or that thick and I pay $20 with my regular beautician that’s been doing hair for 30 years which I know when she does it it’s gonna come out fantastic where if you go to the school, you don’t know what it’s gonna come out looking like I just feel that $25 is absolutely ridiculous. Specially, when it used to be 15 which I find fair.. Now I understand the five dollar up charge on the color Because color has gone up but some of their pricing if anybody goes, there needs to take a look at it. Some it is absolutely ridiculous and I did leave a message with the owner and she never got back to me about it and also when you go to the school, they never have enough shampoo and conditioner. That’s why I even started bringing mine in the first place. it’s ridiculous and also if you go inside of the school, it needs a lot of remodeling. Those wash sinks have been there for over 30 years only 2 to 3 of them work when I went in there yesterday they had buckets underneath where water is just flowing out of them. The buckets were filled with water. It needs to be cleaned in there the ceilings if you look at all the fixtures and the filters they are filled with black dust. I don’t know what it is, but that place needs to be cleaned. It needs to be remodeledand she wants to charge all this money. You need to fix your shop as well.

Hunter Squyres Been going here for a few years now but this was the final straw. Haircut came out butchered and terrible. Completely not how I wanted it. I did NOT want a buzzcut and that is what I gotten. I felt embarrassed and saddened badly that I wanted to walk out and leave Haircut was 100% not how I wanted and teacher (supervisor) never came and check on the student that was cutting my hair. Nor the student brought a teacher (supervisor) to check it out. Completely devastated and broken from this experience as I will NOT be going back. Going to have to wear a cap now on my head for 2~ months until it starts growing out again.

Kim Manglberger Ashley (Bitter Ends Hair Artistry) at J Gibson Salon works actual magic with hair! I found Ashley a couple of years ago after moving back to the area. I have been to stylists across Texas over the years and have NEVER been as consistently happy with one as I am with Ashley. She has given me exactly what Ive asked for at every single appointment from day 1. Shes great with color AND cuts, definitely the all-around package. Go see her and make your hair happy!!

alyssa garcia Jamie is an exceptional hairstylist who consistently delivers amazing results. She is very talented and pays attention to every detail to make sure you will look your best. She listens to her clients’ needs, offering personalized recommendations always making sure you leave confident and satisfied. Sandi Crisp Monica is amazing. She takes such great care of my color and cut. I’ve never had such personalized care, I’m so happy I found her. J Gibson Salon and Spa has a warm and inviting atmosphere. Friendly and fun. Love it! We are so fortunate to have such a great salon tucked away here in Old Town Helotes, Texas. What a blessing. ♥️

Linda Ellmore I went at my appt time, and it was locked with no one inside. When I called, she said I had the wrong time, but I’m certain I did. She had left for the day even though the hours say they’re supposed to be open for walkins. The sign even said open. There was no apology or acknowledgement that she could’ve written the time down wrong—it was just “you weren’t there at your time, so I left.”

Sydney Mendoza Absolutely amazing!!!! Gracia is an amazing nail tech, she is so kind and her work is miraculous!!!! Definitely in my opinion best nail salon in Abilene!!!!

Shaterria Cooks The whole experience was a disaster; it was very disorganized and chaotic. I felt as if I was treated as a number and not a valued customer. The staff were unfriendly and racist. I went in for a facial, and the lady left the door open while I was taking my top off! While I was getting the facial, others were walking in and out of the room; it was not relaxing at all. Then I proceeded to get my nails and feet done. The lady who was working on my feet asked if I wanted gel, and I told her no! Then she said she would give me gel, and I did not have to pay extra but that was a Lie. I got a refill on my nails, and I was told it was $45, but upon checkout, it was $75. My nail is not done properly. Overall, the communication was very poor they tried to play me like I was a fool. They lost a great paying customer! I will never go back!

Di B Called at 2:00 pm to see about appointment, and was scheduled for 5:00 pm same day. I had a pedicure and a dip nail service and couldn’t be happier. Everybody was very nice and pleasant. Thank you for the great experience!!

Majaii Morrison-Wilson Okay, what can I say about this place they are absolutely amazing. I even referred my bestfriend and she has been going almost a year now as well. I cam back home from GA and didnt getting my nails done for over 2 years from having my natural nails basically drilled all the way down to my skin causing it them to bleed. I told Ben my experience and they have really been patient and understanding. I have natural nails and they grow so long. They understand that I dont want them to be too long or too short. Anyway, they will forever be my go too as long as Im in this area and from the looks of it Im here to stay. Thank you guys for treating me like family.

Kelly After not visiting this nail salon for 2 years because of the way management treated the employees I tried again in a pinch. I was sat down at a dirty table. The girls did nothing to clean it up from the previous customer, although I did say something. I did get a clean towel, at least I hope it was clean. I received a half hazard 10 minute manicure, as did my daughter. Granddaughter received a manicure with gel polish which looked ok. $67 later (not including the tip). We walked out feeling more than ripped off. The girl who did my daughter’s nails was very polite and friendly. This is the only reason I am giving any stars. Pinch or no pinch I won’t be back again. Hill Country Nails has a smaller staff and having an appointment makes it easier, but it is worth it.

paige stegall Mindy did a amazing job at doing my nails! She was very friendly, skilled, and made my experience great. Her and the rest of the workers were extremely welcoming. I highly recommend this nail spa!

Bibiana Ramirez Great Customer Service, Friendly, clean environment, my first nail set were simple but lasted me a while month. No lifting, no chips, still could have gone for more time. Went back to get my second set refill, changed colored, changed shape, in love with Karlas work. Can wait to go back for my next set. Highly recommend
