Chocolate King I must express that, as a business owner, the agent lacked any sort of customer service training based on my own encounter. Upon entering the store with my wife, the agent exhibited a rude demeanor and seemed uninterested in assisting us. I cannot be certain if it was due to my Trump hat or their ethnicity, but throughout the interaction, her tone was very unenthusiastic. My wife was tempted to confront her, but we ultimately decided to leave.

Michael Gonzalez I recently went into Henry Freudenburg to renew my flood insurance which has gone up to about $3,000. I told the agent Irene to charge my debit card $2550 and I would pay the rest with a credit card but she put all of it on my debit removing an extra $497 from my checking account and was unable to fix it, but she assured me that it would be fixed the next day. It was not. Im still waiting and there is still almost $500 missing from my checking account. When my flood, homeowners and windstorm are up from renewal I will be going to a more competent agency and I suggest so should you.

Jared Panes Very poor support and communication. Multiple times I called in and requested a call-back and nobody every returned my call. After 7 years of doing business with them one of my policies was cancelled for business reasons (not for lack of payment) and I received no notification from American Proud.... no email... no phone call. I think Nancy tries to do a good job; my comments are for others and the company policies in general.

Chris N. I opened a policy with SMI 2 years ago, my policy just went up 20%. I called my agent left a message and never heard back. I called again, this time got her on the line, she said she would check other options and get back to me, over a week later and no call back? Now I need to spend my time looking for other coverage. I never had to file a claim, but would expect them to be no better when you need them.
