I called around for what I thought would be major repair involving our Dodge journey and was met with shops just saying bring it in and they’d diagnose but the repair time could be a few weeks. Here, the owner Rocky took time to discuss my concerns over the phone and was confident they could diagnose the exact cause of the issues and have it repaired quickly. My husband had also repaired several things on the car himself and they took time to discuss his thought process to his diagnosis of the vehicle issues, we’ve never had a shop be so receptive and actually listen to us so intently before even bringing the vehicle in! We dropped our vehicle off and it was repaired within 2 days! There were several issues and they were incredibly thorough and kept us informed every step of the way! We weren’t able to have all repairs completed at that time due to financial strain but took our vehicle back a few weeks later to have everything completed and it was fixed within a few hours!

After a recommendation from a friend I called Wrench Em and they arranged a wrecker to bring the car to their shop. A starter and bad fuel injector were replaced. The vehicle is now back on the road. The best part i was out of town, and they were able to drop the vehicle off at a relatives house for me.

5 /5 Colin Williams: Rocky is the owner of this shop and is amazing at all diesel motors but especially power stroke. I have a Ford I take to him for everything and he is fair and honest. Don’t waste your time or money anywhere else if you have a diesel.

Joshua DeLoach: I don’t normally leave reviews, but I feel like people should know what they’re walking into here. I paid over $700 to have my car diagnosed and repaired at Scott’s Complete Auto Care—and in the end, nothing was fixed. After keeping my vehicle and charging me for the work, they ultimately told me I needed to take it to the dealership because they couldn’t resolve the issue. If they knew it was beyond their scope, that should’ve been communicated before charging me hundreds of dollars. I left feeling like I paid a steep price just to be told they couldn’t help. No real solutions, no refund, no ownership of the outcome. Extremely frustrating experience. I expected better and won’t be returning.

Blake Collins: Honest and fair. Thats all you can ask for in an auto shop these days. And its hard to find someone you can trust. Well, Huds has proven themselves as a trustworthy business to me. They dont try to upsale or mislead you, and their prices are always fair. As an electrician, I know labor costs money. They do a good job labor wise and typically pretty quick too. They also stand by their warranty for any type of work done. They have taken care of my daughters car multiple times (its an old car) and have always done a good job. I would definitely recommend Huds for any type of auto work.

Evan Pollreisz: I had come here multiple times for a few different issues over the years. But these last few times were for fixing my AC unit. All was well and good until one of the bolts holding the compressor snapped. I’m not around the area anymore and so I called to see if there was anything they could do to help me out. For all that it was worth, they did nothing and flat refused to help. The owner, David Castillo, intentionally dodged my calls and messages. I called him from my number: no answer. I called him again from a fake number seconds after and he picked up. On top of everything, he replaced my condenser twice within a year and charged me both times. This place is alright but you better hope they don’t screw something up or else you’re the one that’s screwed. I’d warn everyone I know to steer clear.

Joseph Walker: I had a terrible experience with Pope Automotive in Lubbock. I brought my vehicle in to have the A/C serviced and recharged. They charged me a significant amount, and when I got home, I checked it and found it was completely empty—no cold air at all. Clearly, nothing was actually fixed. I went back to confront them, and instead of taking responsibility, they told me I’d have to pay again to have it serviced. They claimed it might be an electrical issue—but how would that make the refrigerant disappear? That points to a leak, not an electrical problem. If they had used dye or done a proper pressure test the first time, they would’ve found the issue. This place is a rip-off with awful customer service. I absolutely do not recommend bringing your vehicle here. Save your money and go somewhere that knows what they’re doing and actually stands by their work.
