Kabina Kennels: I had a extended stay here at Solara for about 40 days. For sepsis, partial amputation rehab and c diff. The hospital is clean and modern. The nursing staff, employees and techs are attentive, friendly and very good at their jobs. As a woman of 61 I have been in the hospital many times but this was the absolute best experience I ever had. I highly recommend the hospital. If ever needed again this is where I will be coming or where I will recommend my family go.

Hennessy Nicole: Not sure why this place has low ratings, ive been here 3 times with Priscilla Velazquez and never had any trouble. The front staff is always polite and helpful, and ive always gotten a call back if the call wasnt answered as long as you leave your information! And dr Priscilla herself is very informative and attentive to your concerns ! I love her sm shes awesome. Lab work was also fast and easy thankfully, other places have left me bruised before but not here.

Leeann Salinas: Worse staff ever. They wont help me for anything! I came in from a hospital check up. They just told me the same thing the hospital did. They didnt do an urine test or ultrasound to see if im pregnant still. Since just finding out im 5 weeks & 5 days. I came into see if i can get my restrictions paperwork for work. An they said i had to wait until Friday to get a restriction paperwork so i can wait until then to see a doctor. Im annoyed how these people don’t help or do anything for pregnant people. Worse place ever

Jada Molina: I am extremely disappointed with the services at this clinic. I switched from my previous doctor due to distance, but I’d rather make the drive than continue here. I have low iron deficiency , and over the summer, the doctor prescribed supplements. However, it took over a month to receive the medication, despite my repeated calls. Each time, I was told it was being sent, but it never happened. I had to move to San Antonio due to work & I still didn’t have my medication, and my mother had to go in person to remind them that I needed my prescription because I was feeling unwell without the supplements. Recently, I injured my toes and called on Wednesday to schedule an urgent appointment due to the pain and bleeding. I was told they had no availability and was advised to go to the ER. After the ER visit, I called again to schedule a follow-up, and they finally gave me an appointment for Friday at 8 AM. I called at 8:03 to inform them I was running 8–10 minutes late, but they refused to see me, claiming their grace period is only five minutes. In the past, I had been told the grace period was 15 minutes, yet they insisted it had always been five. I found this very frustrating, especially since I had previously arrived 10 minutes late without issue. To make matters worse, they prioritized walk-ins over my appointment and told me to reschedule for Monday. I’ve been dealing with pain and bleeding since Tuesday, and I’m worried about infection, yet this clinic has shown no consideration for my situation. I’ve now changed doctors & they’re gonna see me today with no issue since they understand the urgency of the situation. P.S. This review has nothing to do with the PA; it’s solely about the administrative issues at the clinic. Dr. Brenda is super sweet and caring about her patients. Also, as a full-time student with a part-time job, I cannot afford to be absent or request days off from work, which makes this experience even more frustrating.

Glenn Storts: Incompetence or Intentional Behavior? It has now been three weeks since I was told by a corporate-level employee that I would be contacted by personnel investigating the incident below … crickets. For those who have a similar experience to that described below, but suffer a negative outcome, consider this as UTHET having been notified that they have a problem (for a second time now, the original was routed to Steven Griffin, D.O. by UTHET Pittsburg). And, that problem recklessly endangered a Level II Trauma patient, either intentionally or through incompetence. The information and opinion below are true and correct to the best of my knowledge and remembrance of the events described. The first paragraph, below, is my original Review of the UTHET Pittsburg ER that was misdirected to one of another UTHET staff by how the hospital system routes reviews. The second and third paragraphs are my response to the UTHET reply and request for additional information with the PCT’s and my wife’s name removed. I brought my wife to the UTHET Pittsburg ER the morning of December 26th after having fallen and hit her head on Christmas. At registration, the intake PCT-Registrar (a former co-worker with a history of animus towards me) was polite but cold towards my wife. After taking my wife’s information, 74 years old, head injury, taking blood thinner, visible facial injuries, stated she was experiencing significant head and neck pain, we were told to take a seat in the lobby. I asked the PCT how long the wait might be; my wife interrupted me and stated again that she was on Xarelto. The PCT ignored my wife, told me that there was no way to know how long the wait might be, and left the Registration area. After about 20-30 minutes, during which time another patient was called to Triage and then called into the ER, my wife’s name was called, and we entered Triage. In Triage, it was immediately obvious that the nursing staff was unaware of my wife’s chief complaints (again, 74 years old, head injury, anti-coagulants, visible facial injuries, head and neck pain and taking a blood thinner … Level II trauma patient criteria), the nursing staff responded appropriate to the situation, C-collar, moved into the back and CTs, etc.. Thankfully my wife suffered no major injuries beyond swelling and bruising, especially after our delayed going to the ER. Kudos (and 5 stars earned) to your nursing, medical and radiology staff. I cannot say the same for Registration. How or why did an experienced Registrar ignore a patient with clearly stated, and even re-stated trauma criteria? I did not note our arrival or other times; EPIC entries should provide the exact time to use when pulling video. Pittsburg still only has the ER Lobby cameras that were present when I worked security there. Concerns over the quality and placement of which was my downfall in employment with UTHET. Our final exchange with PCT [name withheld] occurred at the end of the registration process when I stood to go be seated in the lobby. As we sat down, my wife (a trauma nurse) commented that with her age, head injury and taking a blood thinner, she should be called to Triage within moments and was surprised that the Registrar had not picked up the phone and called back into the ER to inform them before she even finished registration. We stayed in our initial seats until the mother and small child on the phone became unbearable for [name withheld]. We then moved to seats adjacent to Triage near the TV. When [name withheld] was called into Triage, the nurse and nurses assistant (?) immediately responded when my wife told them what was going on. Our impression was that the pertinent details had not been entered or conveyed by the Registrar. As stated in my review, the nursing, medical and radiology staff involved in my wifes care were outstanding (5-star). Thankfully, this was not a life-or-death situation where your Registrars gross failure to communicate pertinent, critical details would have or could have changed the outcome.

Jeff Johnson: Dr. Goodie is the best. She took time to get to know my daughter personally. She asked questions and listened to her answers. She really gets to know her patient and that being my daughter, it really put me at ease. Very trusting and through. Will definitely recommend her to any young girl or lady.

Roy Biggerstaff: Called since the Dr was assigned to me by my insurance. I was handled very rudely and with no compassion. Interrupted throughout trying to explain and then put on hold while explaining. Again only to have an ill tempered lady basically talk to me like I was stupid. As I told her they are on my insurance card All I was trying to do was understand how that happens instead of being so rude to people you guys should learn some people skills Im actually very happy to find out this will not be my new doctor after speaking with your staff.
