4 /5 Miatha Pizana: This was our 1st time here, which was very interesting and very nicely set up. If you like history, especially of this town of why and how it came to be, this will answer your questions. They have a lot of old artifacts its small yet full of a lot of interesting information. How this Prince Carl Solms-Braunfels came to be and why it is New Braunfels. The staff is very knowledgeable and very friendly. Be nice to go, at least so you know the history of New Braunfels.

5 /5 Oui Cest Moi ValE: A smaller Museum offering a clear glimpse into past local Germanic history. Unusual items have created this Museum, well worth meandering through & reading about it all. Prince Carl of Old Braunfels in Germany arrived here to create this town of New Braunfels. Dont firget to visit " Sophies Shop," their German gift Shop. Enjoy the photos.

5 /5 Dennis Pohle: This museum tells a detailed history of the settlement of Texas arraigned by German nobility in the mid 1800’s. There is an amazing collection of artifacts that were saved and donated by the German population. The lobby has a nice explanation of the evolution of the major oil companies. There is a short film that introduces the immigration process. There is a small, city like old town to walk through. The highlight to me is the age, conditions, and variety of artifacts. Cost is $ 8 for adults.
