5 /5 Tamara Schwarting: We had a fantastic experience at the New Braunfels Visitor Center! Our original plans for the day were rained out, so we decided to stop in — and we’re so glad we did. The staff and volunteers were incredibly friendly and helpful. They pointed us toward some great alternative activities, like exploring the downtown murals, grabbing a treat at 2Tart Bakery, and checking out the charm of Gruene, Texas.
The center itself is a gem: clean bathrooms, good parking, and easy to spot from the road. We also appreciated the free coffee and snacks, which made for a warm and welcoming break. There’s a great selection of brochures and maps to help plan your visit.
Highly recommend stopping in to chat with the volunteers — they know the area well and genuinely enjoy helping travelers make the most of their time in New Braunfels.
