5 /5 Lori Campos-Bautista: Fantastic Day at Schlitterbahn! Bonus Days meaning longer hours. Just one more weekend to go guys!! 14 and 15th September last weekend. Only had a few pics to share from this past Sunday! Got there around 230pm, still plenty of Sun with perfect weather conditions! Found handicapped parking by entrance! Walked right in! No Line. This was Surfenburg side. Brought a cooler and bag! Checkpoint fast and easy. If 1st time, your cooler and bags have to be searched. We have Season passes so easy walk in. Right now Season pass to include next year.. $99 includes a bring a friend free ticket. But with our Season pass, there is option to bring a friend for $34.99 ! Again one more weekend left. Also with Season pass, bought clothes for 1/2 off! Fyi Towels are not included. Also in store, if you purchase (not 1/2 off fyi) Water Bottles (black one 34.99 and 19.99 bright color) for rest of year you can take it to concession stand, activate it and pay 8.99 for all day drinks. But remember you can also buy a Season water bottle and get all drinks free rest of year. I just bought these because they were so cool! We swam Lazy River because you can walk in water pretty much. I used this past Sunday to exercise in it. Ran several laps in water and arm exercises! Its fun and you dont feel the burn... till the next day! Lol. Not crowded at all! Just right crowd!

3 /5 N B: It’s not a bad waterpark, but it’s also not a very good waterpark anymore. I know Six Flags had to find a way to bring in more money to keep the park going, but the way they’ve chopped up all the old rides and make you wait in line for something like the torrent river is pretty sad. Most disappointing, the Falls wasn’t open for our visit even though we’re past spring preview. That was the half the reason I flew all the way across the country to come to this park. We’re not even staying for the second day of the 2-day tickets we bought. We’re going to Kalahari instead.

5 /5 Erica Rogers: My kids love Schlitterbahn East! The season pass with the meal and drink plan is very affordable. The staff is extremely nice and cares about the customers.

New Braunfels Fire Museum - New Braunfels

Nathaly Rivera: I recently took my family to the Fire Fighter Museum in New Braunfels, TX, and we had an amazing time. Craig and Dawson were absolutely fantastic — they took the time to answer all of my son’s questions, and their knowledge and friendliness made the experience even better. We learned so much from them. The museum’s collection of antique fire trucks and old firefighter equipment was fascinating, and after seeing it all, I have an even greater admiration for the sacrifices and dedication of those in this honorable profession. I highly recommend taking the time to visit these New Braunfels heroes. The best part? It’s free!

Gruene Historic District - New Braunfels

Tamara Schwarting: Gruene Historic District is an absolute gem! This charming little town is full of character, with quaint shops, rich Texas history, and a laid-back vibe that makes for a perfect day trip. A highlight is Gruene Hall, the oldest dance hall in Texas — it’s not just historic, it’s legendary, having played a key role in launching George Strait’s career. There are plenty of great food options throughout the district, and we chose to dine at the Grist Mill Restaurant, which was lovely — delicious food with a beautiful setting. We also stumbled upon the cutest putt-putt course we’ve ever seen, adding a fun and unexpected twist to our visit. Whether you’re into music, history, food, or shopping, Gruene has something special to offer. Don’t miss this unique and vibrant spot — it’s truly a Texas treasure.

Fischer Park Nature Education Center - New Braunfels

eddie gramma: I love this place... Im a grown man so Im not there to enjoy the splash pad but I am there to walk my doggo and Fischer Park had everything needed for a good walk. There is some coverage, some grass, some wild flowers, a few "off the beaten path" spots, drinking fountains, and garbage cans. For families out is great, rent a pavilion , take the kids to the splash pad or playground and enjoy. All super close to everything but far enough away to feel serine and separate.

Historic Old Town NB - New Braunfels

Tiffany A: My cousin had her baby shower here recently. It was a beautiful antique style venue that included a full kitchen. They do require cleanup at the end but I was told the rental price was not bad. My kids enjoyed looking at all the old antiques.

Stones and Bones Museum - New Braunfels

Frankie Hall: The man that runs it is very knowledgeable. He helped me find out how old my arrowheads are. Lots of great geodes, fossils etc

Rockin R River Rides - Huaco - New Braunfels

Stephanie Breier: This section of the Guadalupe River is pretty calm. With low water levels its slow going. No rapids or fast spots. Just a 3-4 hr long lazy meander. We had a great time & the staff at Rockin R were all great! Shuttle service was fast, and the get in & get out points werent hard to manage. There were lots of slippery rocks, though.

Solms Park - New Braunfels

Stephen Rodriguez: Not a bad park, could use an update. Slide is crazy tall but fun. Walk/Bike path is easily 1/2 mile long. Also a good spot to set-up and make train vids for the Railfans. Side note: I’m pretty sure all the missing socks end up here.

Texas Tubes - New Braunfels

Christina Formby: My family and I came down for Memorial Day weekend and had an absolute blast! The staff were friendly and kind, the river was beautiful, and the weather was perfect. I accidentally left my driver’s license behind, and they were kind enough to mail it back to me free of charge! We’re definitely coming back and would recommend this spot to anyone looking to float the Comal River.

Rockin R River Rides - Gruene - New Braunfels

Baylee: Today at noon there was about an hour wait for tubes, however, they had a nice shaded area with seating. I could not be upset about the longer than anticipated wait because all of their employees were working very hard. They even brought in fresh new tubes to blow up to get us on the river (like a hundred new tubes). They could have easily turned us away or made us wait even longer. They were dedicated to get us on the water.
