1 /5 Frank Phillips: Communication and status checking at this facility during weekend hours is not impressive. How is it that a hospital with 888 beds only has 1 Dr. In the ER. We checked our minor son in at 830pm on a Sunday evening, were immediately taken to a room, only to have been forgotten until 11pm, then procedure started, interrupted and here we sit at 1AM with our any one checking in to see how he is doing. In a community like Flower Mound we can do better. Generally we have been satisfied and occasionally impressed with the health care providers here, but unfortunately not this evening, and the worst part is our son is who has to endure the lack of urgency and attention. Try harder Texas Health Presbyterian Emergency Room team.

1 /5 Elizabeth Balarezo: The nurses are rude and disrespectful. I have not been treated like this before in an emergency room. The customer service over the phone is awful as well when trying to get a status. I left a message with the patient advocate and they never returned my phone call. There seems to be a clear lack of concern for accountability.

5 /5 Holly Millar: I was very happy with my experience at Presbyterian Health Emergency Room in Flower Mound. I went in around 5am (May 22) for intense abdominal and back pains. I was greeted quickly and called back into a room within a few minutes. The nurse listened to my concerns and immediately called for several tests. Each person that treated me had great bed side manner and I definitely felt they empathized with my discomfort and were never dismissive. The tests were done in a timely manner and the doctor was thorough and gave me my options and stayed with me as we talked through each option. I felt well cared for and supported as well as comforted. The team that early morning were rockstars! Thank you for a smooth experience even when I was in pain and nervous about everything!

1 /5 Cydnie Byrd: Had a horrible experience and I only called the emergency room to verify if they see patients with cardiac issues, high blood pressure and things of that nature. I spoke with the man at the switch board and he transferred me to the charge nurse Amanda whom was so rude and I proceeded to ask if they do see or treat people that have those conditions and she refused to answer this general question. She said she couldn’t give me medical advice. I was merely verifying their services and the capabilities that they have. I told her that it wasn’t medical advice it was just me asking about what services they offer and she said they offer service to those in an emergency. Amanda ( charge nurse) then proceeded to tell me that the guy didn’t know what he was doing and he always sends the calls to her when he shouldn’t, even tho I requested it. She even said he didn’t know what he was doing and spoke very badly about him all bc he wanted to help me. I contacted a different Texas health location and asked if they see patients that have cardiac issues and bp issues and they just said yes. I didn’t have to go through any of this nonsense. Called Baylor Scott and White and asked them and they also just said yes. I left a voice mail to Amanda fox (manager) whom is a manager of some sorts and would love to play the recording of how this nurse spoke bad about her coworkers to a potential patient and denied just to tell me the services provided.
