1 /5 J JP: Im so disappointed in this nail salon. Ive been searching for a place thats open according to its posted hours and provides quality service, but this salon definitely isnt it.
During my visit, I constantly had to tell the techs to stop buffing and filing so much. I kept jerking my feet and hands away, cringing at the feeling. The pedicure and nail art were mediocre, and while the manicure and nail set looked okay, my fingers bled for a whole week afterward. Its been two weeks, and the inflammation is still there. The attached pictures show my nails bleeding three days later. Ive never experienced anything like this.
I hate that COVID caused many good nail techs to retire or move away. I miss the techs from when I was in high school who actually cared for your nails and ensured they were healthy. These days, techs seem only interested in making money, not realizing that quality work is what keeps customers coming back.
I contacted the salon about the situation, and they offered me medicine. I told them I had already put medicine on it. This should have been a coaching moment for their techs.
I wont be returning. Ill just continue to drive an hour away to get my nails done.
