1 /5 NIC ROSE: If I could give zero stars I would. These people are SCAMMERS. I happen to get new insurance last Nov 2024 that was a HMO dental plan and my old dentist only accepted PPO dental plans. I didnt know this since previously i was on my parents plan and never had to get my own insurance before. I happen to not notice this so I researched with my new dental HMO plan for places to go and this place pop up and was recommended by my coworkers who have the same plan as me. I went to this office and was told that i had stage two gum disease and that i needed a crown on one of my back teeth. Interesting, as my previous dentist that i have seen for years, would of said something about this when i saw them back in Oct 2024 when they filled my cavities. Im 25 and regularly go to dentist every 6 months to a year. With my previous dentist i have gone to them for 10 years and they told me i have great tooth structure and did not need any crowns at all. Magically at this place i now need all these services. The female dentist at this place recommended a deep cleaning, then she refused to do a regular cleaning , and said her assistant would only do a polishing free of charge ( as it should be because yall wasted my time). So i got the "free" polishing done and then the front desk lady came to explain the cost of deep cleaning and crown which in total was $1200 dollars, and the lady was like we do the deep cleaning and then use a laser to get rid anything the dentist cant see, and its priced by teeth quadrant. I said well what is the price for deep cleaning without the laser, she said with a attitude that "we dont do that" and I have never priced it without the laser". Ummm if your stating to a patient that the deep cleaning consistent of the dentist scraping under my gums to get bacteria out and then she uses a laser then deep cleaning and laser are separate from each other, you should be able to price them separately. Its funny because she had the laser priced out by quadrant and then the deep cleaning price on paper and i thought it was stupid that she told me that i didnt have the option of not doing the laser with the deep cleaning. Mind you I work in healthcare and I know how services and pricing works. As a healthcare worker and patient i know that with certain service you can denied the option to do certain services and do others. Also i dont think they even ran my insurance correctly, my plan is HMO so basically an office cant charge my insurance a high amount, there are set prices for all services with my insurance. The prices she gave were not even accurate when i left and called my insurance ( total sure be $300-400 all together for both). In addition, my appointment was at 9am and i didnt leave until 12 noon which is unacceptable. I sat in the dentist chair waiting for 2 hours just for her to say she wouldnt do a basic cleaning. Also another thing, as i waited for two hrs i was able to hear the dentist tell 4 patients in the role that they all have bad stages of gum disease, and that they needed the same treatment plan, a deep cleaning and getting crowns. I thought well ill give her the benefit of doubt and see what shell say about me since with my previously the only issues i have ever had were cavities from drinking sweet coffee. i literally just wanted my basic cleaning but no i had to deal with this crap. They did do xrays on my teeth which i sent to my previous dentist and ill be going back to my previous dentist as a self pay patient cuz i will not go back here and i dont recommend this place at all. Yall are scammers and are taking advantage of people. How the heck do you go home knowing the scam yall are doing to people everyday. As you can see from previous reviews I am not the first person to say this or be the last, i hope yall get investigated or sued. I DO NOT recommended them at all, save yourself and find someone else they suck.
