5 /5 Mike Smith: Had spinal fusion surgery five days ago and felt I should leave a review. This review only deals with patient care and not any billing, etc.
Ive had a half dozen surgeries before this one, mostly knees, and cared for my parents through their late life stages that involved several hospital stays. NW Hills is by far the best experience Ive ever had at any hospital. Check-in and pre-op was excellent and the staff in the recovery room was on top of helping me with my pain management. Most notably the nurses and techs once I got to my room were fantastic! A big reason is they are not under staffed like many hospitals. When I needed help they responded quickly and they were proactive about managing pain and the inevitable digestive consequences of anesthesia and pain meds. Everyone I encountered was friendly, professional and caring. Not that we often have a choice where our doctors have privileges but if I ever do have a choice of hospitals should I need another surgery itll choose NW Hills.
Heck even the food was good (OK good for a hospital). Thanks to Dr. Loftus, Eldredge, Katarina, Trinity, Lena, Gary and whoever Im forgetting because of the meds.
