1 /5 Theresa Peery: They told me to arrive at 7am for surgery. I have been sitting in the waiting room for 2 1/2 hours with no update from the nursing staff. There are multiple other people here waiting to see the same surgeon as me. So God only knows when I will actually be taken back. I get VERY anxious before surgery and just sitting here for hours is NOT helping. This is the most unprofessional, shit show of a hospital that I have ever been to. I have had several other surgeries and have NEVER experienced anything like this. I absolutely do NOT recommend Metropolitan Methodist Hospital. I’m furious right now.

5 /5 deb donais: Nurse Kelly was awesome! She called and we did the preop questions and she took great care of me on the day of my surgery. I have no complaints I was probably the best experience Ive had. Thanks the Nurse Kelly..

4 /5 Sylvia Ann Rodriguez: The registration was very easy and my procedure went well. All the staff were great! The only reason I cannot give a five star rating is because of the restroom in the holding room. Since the restroom is for both male and females, there was urine on the floors. Some of the urine was dry, letting me know that it had been there awhile. Wish there were separate restrooms for each sex or at least have restroom cleaned more frequently.

1 /5 ROSEANN RODRIGUEZ: Worst hospital ever never again I brought my sister to the emergency room in a lot of pain in the center of her stomach and having chest pain her blood pressure is high they put her in the hallway to draw blood and put a iv on her just to put her in lobby cuz there’s no beds available let me add while she in the hallway crying in lots of pain the nurses and doctors just pass her by then I asked the doctor why their putting my sister in the lobby he said there’s no beds. Available right now and as soon as there’s a room available they’ll come and get her while I was walking away I heard tell a nurse it is what it is.

1 /5 pearl Auces: My mother washing in the er this Saturday and it was very dirty. They never changed out the suction cup that was there before us the floor was not moped and their was just so many things wrong. I’m a team leader at University Hospital in the EVS and they lady never used her evs cart she just had her trash can. The bathrooms were the dirtiest I’ve ever seen. Just look at the dust that is on where you lay a baby to change them and she never used a Johnny mop or caddy to clean the restroom. It was still left with hair and a strip that says it was clean and she just got the trash out and left the same bag. Never used any mopping chemicals not all hospital are the same but coming from working in the evs over 16 years this is not what is supposed to be like we were their over 8 hours and she never came to mop the room we were in as well I have reached out to the management in the evs department but this needs to be fixed per joint commission
