1 /5 L. Casares: We had a horrible experience leaving after my husband had had an exploratory treatment for heart disease. We were on the fifth floor for almost 24 hours and for the most part we found the staff kind and helpful. Maria and Isabelle, nurses on that floor, in mid August 2013 seemed the most efficient and caring. RN Christina in the last part of our stay made our life agonizing. She told us point blank that we would wait 2 and 1/2 hours before she could even begin to check my husband out. Two and a half hours later she had not even opened the file as it was handed to her by another nurse when I went to the desk to inquire. She had other patients checking out too, she said; we just had to be patient (no pun intended, I think). My husband, a very patient man, finally stood up and said, "Thats it. Im done." When they saw the family leaving, the paperwork was completed five minutes later. Go somewhere else.
