3 /5 Tina Gilley: It was a good experience, nurses were good, Dr. Yallowpragada was good and very informative.
BUT the staff was not very informative to the family (like myself) I was there with my brother who had had a heart attack. My brother was very hungry when he came out of surgery - they never told us we had to order his tray for every meal. I did not know there was a place where I could take a shower until I had been there for 3 days. I was going in the bathroom and using paper towels to wash myself up.
I did not know the cafeteria had limited hours, 12-2, so I did not eat for 3 days. Finally, on day 3, a new nurse told me I could order a guest tray!
The staff was just not forthcoming in informing us of what we needed or could do. I had not been to a hospital to stay in years, so I had no idea!!!
The hallway from the ICU to the elevators had blood on the floors for 2 days. Not just one or 2 drops it was all the way down the hall!
